Specifically for all Sunset Vacation Rentals guest street legal 6 seater golf carts are available for our guest to reserve and rent during their stay. **This is a dual occupancy home and there is a unit available for vacationing guests above this unit. Entrances and spaces are private, there is no shared space.** -ATTRACTIONS- Breakwater Beach at Geneva State Park | 5 minute drive | Pet friendly GOTL Strip | 1 mile east Wine Country | 20 minute drive SPIRE Institute | 7 miles Historic Ashtabula Bridge Street | 7 miles east -Pets are allowed in our units marked pet friendly only. There is an additional one time $50 fee that applies to guests who travel with pets, otherwise the stay with the pet was unauthorized. A pet, or any evidence of a pet found on the property, that was not previously disclosed by charging you the pet fee, is cause for eviction and forfeiture of rent. DOGS ONLY- maximum 2 dogs, unless previously authorized.

This was an amazing find!!! So pretty and in a perfect location to the strip!!! I highly recommend this cottage!! Super clean and all appliances are newly updated!!

First walk in we were overwhelmed with the smell of mold/mildew. The dishes were of very poor quality, pots and pans were warped and severely scratched, the small pan had something badly burnt it it and the lids had mold growing around the edge lip. The silverware tray was disgusting. Multiple outlets were not working. There was not 1 piece of comfortable furniture in the place including the very cheap beds. The TV's were supposed to have Hulu installed and ready to use but it wasn't even installed on the 2 bedroom TV's and didn't work on the main TV. The Internet provided for all our streaming needs buffered constantly. The door didn't seal which made for a good draft in the cool windy weather.People tried just walking into the place, not even knocking just tried walking in.
I guess I was expecting a little more than a cheaply furnished smelly cottage near the lake.

We spend the week before Christmas with our daughter and her children. It is nice to have a beautiful home to come back to instead of a hotel room. The furnishings are comfortable. Big TV in each room. We hooked our computer up or used the smart features. I didn't miss cable at all. The place was very clean and had just about everything you might need to make yourself right at home. Just add food. We got snow and there was a shovel ready for us to use. This listing is not handicapped accessible. That and having to strip the beds were my only negatives. I thought the cleaning fee should cover that.

We stayed through the Thanksgiving Holiday even though we were in and out a lot we couldn’t help but invite a few people over to hang out and show them how nice the place was! I loved the bar in the kitchen it was just right for eating breakfast and the living room was a nice size with enough room for everyone plus a few guests. It had everything we needed.

We enjoyed our stay at GOTL. The house was clean and comfortable (great mattress). We didn't spend much time outside because of weather but would suggest moving the firepit behind the house, not in the front by the main road and side street.

Great location for checking out GOTL. We were able to have a wonderful dinner Friday evening, enjoy E-Bikes on the trail and go to a winery. Great weekend.

This rental was very clean and organized. It was close enough to the Lake that we could see the lake from the front window. It is located very close to the strip and there is a lot of noise at night with cars and people driving by. The house has an old house smell that was bothersome at first. Of course, you do get used to it. There are places to sit outside but the house is very out in the open and for us, it was not comfortable for us to sit outside with so many cars and people driving by. If those kinds of things are not bothersome to you, then it is a very nice place to stay and very reasonable.

Cute little place to stay. Definitely is NOT directly on the strip. No sidewalks to even walk the mile to the strip. The place was clean and easy to find. I do believe for the price there could be a few things added. The hand soap in the bathroom was pretty much water, there was no dish soap and hardly enough utensils to have a family meal. I left a brand new pack of basket coffee filters for the next guest. I feel those are cheap enough that she should be included. The TV is incredible slow to respond to the remote and the TV in the back room was useless. Someone logged in with a locked account and left it, so it was unusable.
We picked this place because it said in BIG font that it was right on the strip and we could bring our dogs. I missed the part about it being a split house and having upstairs guests. Because our one dog would cry when we left we cut our trip early to not be annoying to the other guests.

Location was at the end of the strip but nice that you can walk to the Indian Creek store and The Loft. Having it be a duplex unit it's kind of annoying to share the property with another renter but wasn't horrible. Everything was great except the musty smell. I could not get over it, and even sitting outside you would get whiffs of it when the door was opened, it was pretty bad.

We passed by this property because it looked like the registration office for Sunset Vacation Rentals due to the crazy giant banners advertising said company. Upon entry (not very well described) the stench of raw sewage or dead rodents was present. It took a few hours of opening the windows to make it bearable. We had no idea we were sharing the property with a unit above us (again, not very well described) or that there would be campers in the backyard. We were not the only ones who felt that this looked like registration, as we had guests of another rental just walk right into the place asking for the manager and a printer. There were flies in the place and by the end of our 2-day stay we had many more flies which definitely made me feel like there were dead rodents possibly in the basement. This was so disappointing for a girls' trip and I was definitely not expecting upstairs guests or backyard guests. The absurd amount of Sunset Rental Vacation ads strewn within the rental was also over the top and obnoxious. What would make my stay better is to get a refund. Extremely dissatisfied!

easy to enter/leave with door code, nice deck, although an umbrella would have been nice with the table and chairs. far enough away from strip area to be quiet but close enough to get there quickly.

Property was clean and had been recently renovated but had strong musty smell. We did enjoy having a large deck to be able to sit outside but the close proximity to the busy street with a steady stream of loud motorcycles and vehicles was not ideal. Pictures of the proximity to the road are deceiving on the site. The website lists one of the bedrooms as having a queen bed but in actuality it was a double. The location was very convenient to the strip. Agree with other reviewers that the large banners on the front deck are a bit much especially since there is a sign mounded on the house clearly marking it as a rental property.
