I don't want to hear any longer about "Southern hospitality", because (at least in this hotel) it is a myth. When arriving at 3.00pm the room was not ready. I got a new room on the end of the hall, which is not really you want to look forward to when you have two kids with you. This process to get the "spare" room took another 10 minutes. No thank you for staying at check-out, maintenance staff did not say hello or thank you for me holding open the doors, and the cleaning staff was not one "inch" better in their customer appreciation.
The wireless internet they are offering is a catastrophe, and my suggestion is not even to bother to unpack your laptop to do some work online.
It was a bad experience and I would not recommend this hotel to anybody. The reception gals were overwhelmed with their work and need to learn about consumer satisfaction and how to engage with kids as well.

I thought the beds were very comfortable and I am picky about beds. I slept perfect. The room was clean except I did have to wipe off some mold in the bathroom around the tub and spout because I couldn't take a shower and see that it came off easy so I don't know how the cleaning staff missed it. Everything else was very clean. The staff was very helpful. Each time we asked for something they brought it to us right away. The breakfast was very good. I only wish the woman setting the food out was more pleasant. She obviously didn't like her job very much and it showed. The indoor pool and spa would have been nice but it was suppossed to be heated and it never warmed up. That was the main reason we stayed at this hotel so when it wasn't warm enough to go in it kind of made my kids a bit upset. Other than that it was a nice hotel and I would stay again. Oh ya there was a lot of noise in the hallway all night long. This went on until around 3 in the morning. Luckily the bed was so comfy it didnt bother me too much. If it wasnt for the bed I would have been complaining.

Overall, we had a wonderful experience. Our flight arrived around midnight & a shuttle arrived within minutes to pick us up & bring us back to the hotel. The gal at the desk was friendly & helpful. Our room was very nice. The only complaint was that the hotel was sold out that night so we could not get an extra pillow or towels for the thrid person in our group. We purposely booked a room with a king size bed & a pull out sofa so we could have 3 in our room.

An acceptable airport inn. Needs better signage off the airport drive.

The refrigerator was broken in the room as well as the cabinet it was in but the room and services were great. I will stay again.

I was shocked at how the staff ran carts into door frames, closed breakfast early and disappointed that the pool was closed/out of order. Luckily, I was only stopping by for one night on my way to Orlando, FL.

I just needed to stay one night when my home's a/c died, but it was a great stay. Nice and clean, the kids thought is was great. Very comfortable, enjoyed the breakfast.

The hotel itself is conveniently located, very nice and clean.
When I stayed there for a Tuesday night there were very few guests (parking lot all but empty my entire stay) and the overall activity status of the hotel was very quiet, except for staff - which outnumbered guests by at least 10:1. Even with this being the case, they put another guest right next door to me on the 3rd floor. When we were both in our respective rooms, I could hear every word of her phone calls, anything she had on TV, and her bathroom activities. We did not have connecting rooms, nor were we in a common party - I never saw this person, only heard her. Basically, VERY thin walls with little to no insulation. This is a BIG deal for me, as I have a hard time sleeping anyway and is the primary reason I am giving it 3 stars instead of 4. When I mentioned this at checkout to the front desk, they said "I know, you can hear a lot can't you?" and emapthized with me as if it was not the first time they've heard my plea. I don't understand why hotels put people in rooms right next door to one another when there are so few rooms occupied. At least skip a room... Surely that won't incovenience the cleaning staff too much - they're only going to be in one room at a time anyway... I digress.
There was a also HUGE gap between the bottom of my room door and the floor allowing lots of hallway light & noise into the room (albeit noise was infrequent due to so few guests.) I like a dark and quiet room to sleep, so I put one of the bath towels in front of the gap to correct this issue.
The bed was excellent; linens & towels clean & fresh and there was pleanty of storage space as well as a fridge and microwave.
They put out breakfast for what seemed like a high census day even though it was LOW census and thus all the food quickly became stale and less than desirable. HI-Express usually has a hot breakfast, so if you are expecting the usual get there early to get fresh food. Serving starts at 6:30am.
I was told by the staff (who were exceptionally friendly and attentive, mind you) that the facility used to be a Comfort Inn & Suites before being converted to an HIX. Some of the furniture in the rooms appears to be left over from the conversion.
Oddly, cold water only came out of the tap for about 10 seconds and then it turned quite warm, regardless of where I positioned the faucet lever. This made things like brushing teeth, taking vitamins, etc. quite interesting.
The last guest's checkout receipt was still under the door when I checked in (with their name, address, etc. on it) even though the room had been serviced. Seems like housekeeping would have picked that up to protect said guest's privacy.
Overall a nice/new-looking place, relatively clean with a super nice staff and a decent deal for the price. Just be aware of the issues mentioned above if they are buttons for you.
