Do quarto, dos funcionários, da localização.

Na primeira noite a televisão não funcionou apesar dos esforços da funcionária presente. A água da piscina interior foi ficando mais fria com o passar dos dias tendo a limpeza da mesma deixado bastante a desejar pois durante 3 dias existem baratas (mortas) na plataforma junto á piscina. No último dia de permanência (segunda-feira) notou-se a falta de muitos produtos ao pequeno almoço, como ananás da ilha, queijo fresco, sumo de laranja entre outros

Nice Hotel in good location

Amazing Staff,spacious rooms,clean and comfy. breakfast was nice (had also an option of soy milk and yoghurt as prev requested)

Well it’s a Family Hotel with infants/kids as well as parents und grandparents running around,clapping doors for fun and enjoying their family time.If you’re looking for a quite area this is not your hotel. The gym needs an update.

the hotel is very stilish, good position, clean

difficult to find it as there are no indications whatsoever in the street. Breakfast buffet was clearly understaffed: every day we had to ask for most of the basic things like cups, plates, curlery, yoghurt, butter, napkins etc.

Nice hotel overall. No serious issues.

Indoor and outdoor pool were great and hardly used by anyone else. Comfortable beds. Sauna was good. Staff who initially booked us in were extremely nice and friendly. Superb range of breakfast options.

Steam room didn't appear to be working. Hot breakfast wasn't fantastic - poor quality sausages and some things cold. Staff were not able to keep up we replenishing all crockery. Coffee machine stopped working regularly and hot milk urn not kept full.

Really friendly and helpful staff at the feont desk! Basic hotel with a pool, it's fine really, a comfortable enough place that's not too expensive to stay in while one explores the island

Rooms were not soundproof, woken up 2 nights in a row by corridor noise. Poor lighting in the rooms. We had to tell them if we wanted to have the room cleaned every morning which is such a basic thing to have in a hotel! I dont mind not changing towels daily, but if I wanted to clean my own room I could've stayed at an apartment or airbnb... Dinner buffet was of poor quality and overpriced. All drinks not included, not even water. Games room available but you had to pay for all the games

Relaxing stay with some bigger drawbacks

The place was very clean, the rooms had a lot of space. Nice and friendly staff at the reception. The pools were very nice. Very good support also when booking tours.

• The shower tub was so old that it requires some renovation. Whenever you stood on the shower tub, you felt like you would break in. It was making very bad sounds just standing there and it was a pain having the shower there since we always tried to avoid those “holes”. • The room was not cleaned every day, even though the sign was out. • The breakfast was ok, but definitely nothing special. It offers the basic options for a breakfast, but nothing more. • The gym facilities felt very used and especially during covid times (even though this was not a main concern during our time of the stay), it felt like everything was left dirty and sweaty. • Due to personal reasons, we had to leave one day earlier and asked for a partial cancellation. Obviously we booked the room for the full stay, but a little more flexibility and understanding from the staff would have been very helpful and appreciated since no chances could be made, even though we checked out the day earlier. • The location was a little bit far from everything.

Decent accommodation if you do not plan to stay at the hotel other than sleeping and washing.

Private parking. Quiet location. Comfy beds. Great view. Indoor outdoor swimming pool. Pool towels that you could take outside the hotel.

Espresso machine broke the 1st day. Stayed for 8 nights and still not replaced or repaired. Breakfast was more like a 3 star hotel. The omlette had no taste. Same food basically everyday. We had a leak on the balcony from above. Very small sauna and not heated by rocks. Food a la carte at the restaurant not well prepared. Gaming area available for a price but the equipment was horrible. The pool table was askew.

Best hotel I've experienced!!

This was probably the best hotel i have ever stayed in. It has everything - nice staff, beautiful exteriors and interiors, amazing outside pool and inside spas, great restaurant with the best caesar salad i've ever eaten, comfortable bed and i could go on. And all this for a very good price.

Exceptional

Great location near the sea, great view from the terrace, very tasteful breakfast, cozy beds and enough parking space. The staff is extremely friendly. The swimming pool and sauna are also very nice. There's a grocery store just across the street.

I was so disappointed with the lack of customer care regarding covid safety

Friendly staff, free WiFi, very comfortable bed

Your covid safety standards are terrible, I did mot feel safe at all. I counted 18 people at reception checking in and not one of them wore masks . The breakfast buffet is awful, flies around the open jam pots, butter not kept cold, nobody wearing masks or gloves at the buffet, we stayed in the VIP Executive Hotel 15th November to 19th and everyone wore masks inside the hotel, gloves were provided to everyone for the buffet, individual jams pots, individual yoghurts, the staff on duty ensured people followed the rules.

Pedras do Mar review: great value for what we paid!

This review is about Pedras do Mar, the hotel to which we were upgraded after making a reservation for Vale do Navio. Staff were very professional and kind to us. We had a memorable time in a very good place for an affordable price. Great view from our room (mountain side) and also from the restaurant (seaside). It's a great place to spend some quality time isolating from cities and crowds, quiet area with nothing around the hotel, only the nature. Enjoy the sounds of the birds and waves!

Restaurant: food is overpriced, codfish was cold and not flavored at all. Head to Botequim Açoriano instead (a restaurant nearby that serves a real local and fresh food with great service).
