The young man at the desk, Rohan, was fantastic!
there wasn't any space in the lobby area to work early in the a.m. and no real space in the room either. No chairs in room, only small cubes to sit on.

location
if the fridge is an amenity leave some space
one of the main reasons we booked this hotel was the availability of bikes, but you only had 4 bikes! you couldn’t reserve bikes and was suppose to be first come basis, but that didn’t happen. you let people take keys and go back to room!
the room was spacious so how about at least 1 comfortable chair?

nice location along the river with walking paths along the river -stay river room view if possible. Walk toward the city. There is a bit of a homeless issue going the other way .
air conditioner was noisy - not sure if it was needing maintenance. We did hear a bit of door closing noise early in the AM

very clean, relaxing atmosphere, next to the river and close to the Forks.
Restaurant with a patio just steps away
limited parking, so get a spot early and either take a cab or walk

tte tool and location was great. the proximity to one of the nicest restaurants in Winnipeg was a bonus.
the biggest issue was parking.
I had called the location directly to éboute our vehicle would fit. They indicated there was parking. Unfortunately, when we arrived later to the hotel after going out and about, no parking was available on site. they sent me to park in the city parking and waived the 20+ fee per night for parking. I paid and posted my ticket for the city lot, and asked again at the front desk if I was good there until morning. he said yes. we checked out at 10:00, I went to get our vehicle and to my surprise I had a $100.parking ticket on my windshield.
I retuned to the hotel. I was very upset. has a conversation with front desk and was promptly told « you should have read the signs » « sorry we can’t help » « or and it appears you booked through a Third party so we really can’t help »
I repeated my frustration, no help. it ruined our stay.

the location
the property does not have or is not close to breakfast or continental service. they room did not have the robes as advertised. the air conditioner unit was so loud it could not be operated at night.

the rooms are big very clean. beds are comfortable and the river was right out our window. you can walk to the concert hall & museum.
there was not enough parking for all guests and it was first come 1st served, but you have to pay$16.00 to maybe get a parking spot. you can park in the street for free though and can get your money back if you can’t park in the lot. there was one really weird thing. there was a window in the bathroom that is floor to ceiling. you can see the room from the toilet and so can everyone see you. they do have a blind on the window. so there’s that🤪

I liked the style of the hotel and the cleanliness
The lighting in the rooms was horrible, nothing is really in close walking distance and its inconvenient that the resturant behind the hotel doesnt serve breakfast. this hotel has no food, bar or coffee bar.
