Хотелось бы уборки номера один раз в три дня, и добавить в завтрак йогурт и овощи.

Качественная мебель, сантехника. Отличная большая кровать, матрас удобный, расположение удачное. В номере имеется сейф. Хозяин НИЛ очень чистоплотен. Вкусный завтрак (много разных фруктов - супер!).

На территории и номере нет совсем солнца, постоянно темно. Нет личного пространства, из любого номера выходишь и ты на виду у всех жильцов. За все время проживания была всего одна уборка в номере.

Neel is a great and funny host. He will help you with everything you need and has great information about food and stuff to do around Unawatuna. We we're here with 3 Kids and Neel was wunderful to the them. The rooms are clean, breakfast is delicious, we had Welcome drink and a laundry is also directly at the accomodation. Absolutely perfect. Thank you Neel for having us

We liked everything. There was nothing that spoiled our stay. Location is perfect: surrounded by jungle, in 5 minutes walk from the beach, in 10 minutes walk from busy street with cafes and shops. Quite and calm cornor, where you can hear only birds singing. The area and the room are clean. Air condition works properly. Wi-fi is fast (my husband could work without any inconvinience). Bed is big and comfortable - we slept as babies :) And there were many pillows - for me it's a great advantage. Bathroom is convinient and functional. We took hot shower even during power outage. Breakfasts exceeded our expectations. Besides familiar eggs and toasts we had a big plate of fresh fruits. Several times Neel (the host) cooked us traditional dishes of Sri Lanka cuisine - everything was delicious. What makes this place outstanding from others is that Neel is a super host. It felt like we were visiting a friend, not a hotel. Neel was very helpful, gave us lots of good advise about places to visit and it was just interesting to chat with him. We would definitly come here again :)

Centrally located place with a good host

The place is centrally located with the beach and all the restaurants nearby. The host Neel also helps by giving good suggestions and arranging for transport.

We had a great time - highly recommend!!

Neel is very friendly and makes a delicious breakfast. The location is great as well as it is close to the beach and further away from the main street. The wifi was the best we had so far, very good for working and watching movies.

The mosquito net was a little dirty

Nice and comfortable guest house. Neel is a great host, very friendly and ready to help with everything. Kitchen and fridge available for guests. Delicious breakfast, fresh fruits, different every day. Really good overall experience.

the room was Very comfortable and the location is great. it is located in a small side street, so it is very quiet. it’s just a five minute walk to the beach and restaurants. the owner was very friendly and helpful with everything, he arranged us tuktuks, changed money for us and had some good ideas where to go. we had a lot of great conversations in the evening and learned more about the country. breakfast was excellent and I recommend to everyone to come here, we loved it.

Very good

Very comfortable bed and pillows. Shower, toilet, accessories (towels, soap, paper, clean linen) were always in the room, hot water, pressure, toilet bowl - everything was in order. The room has a closet that can be locked with a separate key. 3 EU outlets and 2 more for bypass. Neil speaks excellent English. The location is great, 5 min walk to the main pool and 20 min walk to the Jungle pool. We recommend the second one, we didn't like the first one, constantly someone wants something from you - massage, smoke, coconut, clothes, etc. Payment at the rate of almost the Central Bank.

WiFi is good when it's available. The wifi was out for two days. Table only on the terrace, not in the room. Hot to work outside. If you need internet to work during a power outage in the country, I advise the STL SIM card, which works better than the Dialog SIM card in this place. The shared kitchen could be better equipped. There is no soundproofing, but lights out at 23.00)

beyond everything you could expect

Everything was so clean and delicate, ac worked excellent and the walking distance to everything was very good. He also offered free beach towels. The owners hospitality and kindness was so much appreciated. He made the biggest breakfast, offering so many good and different type of food. everything was beyond expected! would come again and would definitely recommend for everyone!

It is a Nice And quiet place - clean rooms, very good breakfast and a kind and helpfull host. If we come back to Sri Lanka we would be happy to book a room at the butterfly jewell again. I can highly recommend to book a stay here.

Excellent Place with home-feel enviornment

The room was really neat & clean. & The bathroom was really nice too. The Owner, Neel, was super friendly & very helpful as well. The breakfast was amazing as well. Absolutely Loved my stay.

Butterfly Jewel is an excellent place to stay in Unawatuna. I've spent couple of nights with my family. It's less than 5 mins walk to beautiful goldi sand Unawatuna beach. The location is great!! It's less than 15 mins to Jungle beach. Sunset point is amazing!!!. Neel and Olga are really welcoming the guests and they were helped us throughout our stay at the hotel. The room is clean and specious with comfortable beds. Breakfast is delicious with varieties. "We had a fantastic time at Butterfly Jewel and we would recommend this is one of the best place to stay in Unawatuna''

Very welcoming

We’ve spent two nights at the Butterfly Jewel. Olga and Neel are really welcoming and kind people. They made us a delicious fresh juice on arrival and made us feel really welcome. Breakfast is delicious and plentiful. The rooms are clean and spacious with comfortable beds and AC. The location is great, a 5 minute walk to the beach and a 20 minute walk to Jungle beach. It’s also really easy to take the bus to Galle for a daytrip. Would definitely stay here again!
