It was comfortable, close walk to the beach. Fit our family of 10 nicely.

The neighborhood and proximity to the beach was excellent.

The house has many issues...unable to lock doors (figured it out after an hour), wet carpet and smelled fishy (had to turn on the fire place), locked hot tub (finally found the instructions on the last day), could not get TV working (never found any instructions), bathtub was dirty, coffee grounds left in the pot, shower had a broken knob (hard to turn it for young and older adults), washer did not spin properly (but was able to get the laundry done).

the location was amazing and the accommodations were comfortable. we loved the bicycles and hot tub and walking to the beach!

there were no basic cooking foods (salt and pepper, oil, cooking spray). there’s a huge box of sugar packets but nothing else. with limited grocery stores in the area, having the bare essentials available would have made a huge difference. also, the DVD player in the bedroom didn’t work because the remote didn’t have batteries (we had to go but batteries), and the DVD players upstairs and downstairs were missing the HDMI cables. we managed to get one to work by using the HDMI cable from the satellite/ cable box. with the expectation set of having access to Netflix and movies, this scramble was super frustrating and when I called for help I was told they might be able to fix it while we were there, which again, didn’t match the expectation. thankfully we had a tech savvy person who was able to make it work.

I loved the feel of the home. It was very family friendly. Not as dusty clean as most houses. Loved its charm an close proximity to the beach. But is a bit of a I steep cline to the water. The master bedroom was turned into the kids room. It’s amazing!

I’d say 3 stars Probably because the vacuum. We needed to use it for a quick clean up an realized the line was mostly clogged up for idk how long. I couldn’t help but investigate the cause. I was shocked at the condition it was in due to how poorly “maintained” it had been. This being the main source to assisting in cleaning the house. This over used shark vacuum no one took care in. Made absolute sense is to why it was so dusty in such a clean house. My husband made me stop cleaning out the vacuum, once I was able to clear the hairy ball of madness from previous occupants stays. How come none of the adults rooms had a TV? Later hours while wanting to wind down. I had to either stay down stairs with my older parents watching some dumb remodel show or in my kids room while they played PlayStation. So on my computer in my room I sat.

The location was great. It was a short walk to the beach. And it stayed very warm throughout the house.

The kitchen table was sticky. There was black dog hair everywhere, including the bed sheets. The hot tub was disgusting. Between one of the beds and the wall there was a thick layer of dog hair and dirt along with some playing cards and other things. One of the showers had a huge clump of hair in it. The bikes that were left for guest use are very rusted and probably shouldn’t be used. There were also cobwebs everywhere.
