The hotel has good access to and from the airport by train (S8) and is located at the city centre. All the items in the fridge are complimentary.

Lovely friendly hotel, very well located 10mn walk from Marienplatz.

Very modern, very quiet room. Friendly staff and excellent breakfast.

The sauna in the hotel is only accessible to men. Not great if you're a woman ! I suggested at the reception to have time slots for men or women.

Short stay

The location was very central and the price was great value. Staff super friendly and facilities really nice. I only wish I had been able to stay long enough to enjoy them.

Top Lage, Top Preis, Top Personal - Was will man mehr?

Nicht nur die Lage ist außergewöhnlich toll, auch Preis-Leistung und Personal sind wahnsinnig gut. Eine äußerst gut gefüllte Minibar ist gratis und wird täglich aufgefüllt, die Herrensauna im Erdgeschoss gibt es großzügig rabattiert. Im Restaurant gibt es einen Prosecco aufs Haus und tolles Personal im ganzen Unternehmen. Wir kommen garantiert wieder, ein Juwel in München welchen wir leider erst jetzt entdeckt haben!

Hotel Deutsche Eiche - the place to stay in Munich!

Fantastic location - close to Old Town, market, public transport. The room had plenty of space, very good storage space and air-conditioned particularly given the very warm weather in summer. The breakfast menu provided options for all apetites.

Amazing stay, beautiful staff

Great location, very clean and comfortable rooms. The staff here were absolutely amazing and went above and beyond to make me more comfortable when I was unwell. I am very grateful for their kindness.

Superb

Great location. Good sized room with free mini bar (water, beer and coca cola). We were greeted with a complimentary drink. This is a gay-friendly hotel and thus the sauna is only available for men.

It was missing a kettle. The bathroom wasn't great. door didn't shut properly. Water in shower was confusing and very hot then very cold.

the lift takes you to a ‘middle’ landing floor and then you walk up or down stairs to your floor - a little odd.

A nice stay for a good price

Free welcome drink + free mini bar in room Nice shower. Restaurant looked lovely but didn't have a chance to use it. Location was quite good for the price paid.

Single bed and sloping ceilings. I'm 6 ft 3' / 191 cm. No door on bathroom.

A staff that goes above and beyond

This hotel goed above and beyond. The staff is extremely helpful and nice. The rooms large and comfortable. The restaurant in the hotel is great for breakfast, a beer or a dinner. I really recommend this hotel. Do know there is a mens sauna in the hotel that is used by the gay community. What happens in the sauna is invisible to hotel guests. And the hotel is open to everyone. But the sauna only for men (who like a touchy feely experience). I would still stay there again and really recommend it to friends and family.

The area around the hotel does offer many really good restaurants. But sometimes it's hard to find a bar or pub where you can sit if you want to drink one last drink at 02:00. It seemed most bars closed at 00:00 or 02:00 the latest.

Wonderful charming hotel in fantastic location

Amazing location near Viktualienmarkt and Marienplatz (yet quiet), comfortable and spacious room, very comfortable bed, great shower, delicious food at the restaurant, very friendly and welcoming staff.

Superb

The check in staff member was amazing, they were extremely helpful. The location is great and walking distance to the old town. The roof top bar is an absolute delight. The bathroom was great as were the beds.

Excellent

Location is awesome for proximity to central Altstadt. Super friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast was good quality and coffee was good. Ate dinner one night and that was great food as well.

1st floor room allowed the music beats from restaurant to penetrate the room, although couldn’t hear any music or crowd noise.
