About this condo rental
Situated in Rockport, this attractive condo for R 8,915 per night is a great option for your next break. This recently renovated beach themed 3 level, 3 bedroom, 2.5 baths, fully stocked condo, has 2 unique outdoor spaces, and parking for 4 cars. Located within walking distance right in between 2 of the most amazing beaches in Cape Ann: Good Harbor Beach in Gloucester, and Long Beach in Rockport. Take your pick, no need to drive and pay to park. It will take you just a few minutes to walk to either. Indoor features include 3 levels of cozy and comfortable living: The main level has an updated, fully stocked kitchen, with an open concept into the living room, and a 1/2 bathroom on this level. The living room has a gas fireplace, 50+” flat screen tv, 2 full sized couches (1 which pulls out for more sleeping, if needed), and a full sized screen slider with walk out to a front deck. The 2nd level has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Each bedroom has a queen bed, a closet, plenty of storage, and their own full bathroom with bathtub/shower. Linens, bedding and towels are provided during your stay. There is also a washer and dryer on the lower level for your use, as well as extra beach towels for the days you want to go back to the beach again and again. The 3rd floor living space has a spiral staircase that leads you up into another living area, with 2 queen beds. This room can also act as another living room, as it will have a tv and lounge area. Outdoor features include unique spaces for relaxing: On the main level there is a walkout to a front deck with a bistro table and chairs. Off the kitchen is a walk out to the back patio. This patio has a dining table, BBQ, outdoor furniture, fire pit, and an outdoor shower. Above the back patio you will find the garden ledge, surrounded by beautiful granite rock features. This serene space has a hammock, and a lounging/meditating/relaxing area. Your rental includes cable tv, wi-fi, a fully equipped kitchen, linens, beach cart, beach chairs, classic board games, and plenty of books for lazy days reading on the beach, lounging around, or on the hammock…

We had a fantastic time! This house is the most ‘ready to enjoy and relax’ rentals we stayed in our 18+ years of renting houses on the East Coast. Walking distance to two pristine Beaches : 7 min to GoodHarbor Beach and 5 min to Long Beach. Appreciated walking back home for lunch. Went with my husband and 2 daughters 18 and 21 and my parents. The owners went over and above to make sure we had everything we needed - thank you Joanne and Jim! (Only warning: the 2 beds on the second floor can be tricky to access if you are not fit and might not suitable for toddlers because of the open staircase.) Do not hesitate if you are looking for a great spot to explore Rockport/Gloucester. We highly recommend:)

This property was perfect for the three generations of our family. It was perfectly located to go back and forth to the beach. The hosts were very helpful and provided full information of the area, beach towels and a full array of beach gear. The outside back area was perfect for both kids and adults. The kitchen had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable. We all had a great time.

This is the perfect location, between Cape Ann’s two best beaches. Walkable each way.
The host and hostess were friendly, thoughtful, responsive, and accommodating.
It looks like they had fun decorating the place! Modern and tasteful.
We enjoyed evenings at the firepit on the fantastic backyard patio.

Fantastic week
We had a wonderful time! House was very clean and stocked with everything we could possibly need!! Jim and Joann were so accommodating and kind!! Quick walk to both beaches and food/ice cream right next door made life easy. Highly recommend this property!

Fantastic!
We had such an awesome stay. The house had anything you could possibly need. It was super clean. The hosts were so incredibly friendly and helpful! The kids had a great time roaming the backyard and they loved the upstairs loft! The walk to the beach was easy. It’s very close to the grocery store and is steps away from a pizza/subs/ice cream place (highly recommend the lobster rolls too!). The only negative to the stay is that I wouldn’t say the house is toddler-proof. So we spent a lot of time wrangling our 3 year old to keep him from breaking things. I definitely wouldn’t take away any stars though. It was an absolutely wonderful place to stay!

This property was perfect for our moms and daughters (10 of us) week trip to Cape Ann. First, I can not say enough about our stay at this property. Location was amazing between Long Beach, Rockport and Good Harbor Beach, Gloucester. An ice cream/pizza restaurant just steps from our door. Moms/Daughters trip 2021

Wow!
All I can say is WOW! Not only is this property gorgeous, but Jim and Joanne are wonderful hosts! They went above and beyond to make sure that our stay was great. The kitchen comes stocked (spices and meal add-ons included) and they provide so much for their guests to use. They provide sheets and towels for all guests (beach towels included) and have beach accessories to use as well (umbrella, chairs, toys, wagon, cart, and cooler). This house has been the most well equipped out of any vacation rental I have stayed at. Jim and Joanne, thank you for being great hosts. The kids and the adults enjoyed all of the extra surprises that you left for us! I’m so glad that we decided to stay at Between2Beaches and we will definitely consider staying here again!

Family beach vacation
We came to “between 2 beaches“ to enjoy the last week of summer at the beach and celebrate a birthday. Joanne and Jim are thoughtful hosts and made us feel very much at home in their comfortable rental. They provided beach towels, beacH chairs, umbrellas, and boogie boards — everyone we needed for enjoying Good Harbor Beach. Because of cOVID-19 we cooked all our dinners at the house and ate in the beautiful backyard as often as possible. Joanne arranged a fabulous birthday cake for our last meal. My grandsons loved their third floor suite and want to return. We had a memorable stay!

Exceeding expectations
Joanne and Jim are the most thoughtful and generous hosts we have ever encountered in our 10+ years of renting in Cape Ann (across Annisquam, Gloucester and Rockport).
First, they have thought of EVERYTHING you might need, making sure you can enjoy this delightful region without a care in the world and creating more than a home away from home with between2beaches.
Second, they struck the perfect mix of availability and privacy. They provided superb advice on activities and where to find certain particular items we were looking for, treated us repeatedly to delights, including homemade pesto. And when there was a slight issue with the washing machine, they were there within minutes to fix it. They managed to be at once very available but also very discreet, managing this incredibly delicate balance deftly.
And then there was the swag (beach bags!) and the featured art that you can purchase. I could go on and on.
As a veteran home renter, I thought I had seen it all and knew what to expect, but Joanne and Jim far exceeded our expectations.

Ideal place to stay on Cape Ann
This house was a super place to stay. We had ten people (6 adults, 4 kids) and it fit us like a glove. The only problem was the discussion of which beach to go to. Two of Cape Ann's best beaches are within easy walking distance.
Besides the beaches, Between two Beaches is smack on the border of two fascinating towns, happenin' Gloucester and charming Rockport, just waiting to be explored.
The house itself is ideal. The kitchen is well outfitted. There are 2 1/2 baths and a water a dryer. The layout of the kitchen and the great room is convenient and airy. There is internet, two TVs, and lots of books for all ages, as well as a supply of lush beach towels and tote bags, beach chairs, boogie boards, and a beach cart. The decor is imaginative and beach-themed.
Jim and Joanne, the landlords, are friendly, helpful, and informative (in case you are new to the area. They left an assortment of goodies for us on arrival--much appreciated!
All of us agreed this is the place we want to come back to!

Beautiful Home! Perfect Location!!
This home has it all! The owners have thought of every detail and put love in to every inch of this place! Loved the location! We were close to everything! We could easily walk to 2 different beautiful beaches with the help of the supplied buggy they provided. Easy to carry beach chairs and soft fluffy beach towels made our days at the beaches amazing! Their suggestions on things to see and places to eat were spot on! Amazing food and beautiful sights!! Really enjoyed the 4th of July festivities between Gloucester and Rockport!! The back patio/yard was sweet and comfortable with tons of seating and a hammock area for super chill time! They truly thought of every comfort!! The beds were the best part! Brand new mattresses in every room and a perfect nights rest every night of our stay! We will definitely be back to the charming town of Gloucester and will stay at “between two beaches” every time! Thank you for our best family vacation yet!! See you next year!
