Pet Friendly. Located at Miners Camping campground. We are within walking distance to the Crater Of Diamonds State Park. Advice from miners who have years of experience finding diamonds.

Very quiet. Had a great time. Great place for family.

From the outside it looks okay. The inside on the other hand is less than to be desired. Parts of the ceiling are falling down. The place smelled like bleach when we walked in. It looked clean. Then the roaches appeared. The beds are like sleeping on springs. Had to wash anything we used before we could use it. We didn’t use the dishwasher for the fact of the cockroaches. The only convenience is it is close to the diamond mine. It says walking distance yeah it’s about a mile and half give or take.

The property was in need of some repairs. The ceiling is starting to fall down. There is missing boards on the deck. Which is a trip hazard. The texture on living room ceiling is hanging down. There where no towels or wash rags. It was clean but had a smell. We came across roaches in the middle of the night . My wife was not happy about that.

We couldn't bring in our bags because of the roaches.. couldn't use the back door because of a broken board on the back deck..it could be a nice place with a little work.

Thus was a great place to stay! Despite the sweltering heat, the air conditioning and ceiling fans kept us comfortable at all times.
The cabin was neat and tidy and the beds were very comfortable. Bed linens and pillows were provided but we knew ahead of time to bring towels.
The kitchen was stocked with basic supplies which was very helpful. We didn't use the stove or oven but the full size fridge and microwave were spotlessly clean.
Very conveniently located near Crater of Diamonds park the camp ground was quiet and we felt completely safe at all times.
Our family plans to visit the area again, in cooler weather, and would 100% stay here again.

Loved our stay at the Miners house. It was perfect for My wife and I along with our English Bulldog. House was clean and ample bedding was provided. Bathroom towels are not provided if you plan on using the shower. We plan on staying again in the future.

The cabin was nice, perfect for miners. It was clean and rustic, great access to the park and supplies for mining. We grilled and used the kitchen to cook. It had everything we needed and was perfectly adequate. TV worked and we couldn’t have asked for more in a miners cabin!

Where to start. From the leaves clogging the gutter, to the black mold in air conditioner, the creepy door that has bolt at on top with some kind of sensor to the carpet bulge with a lot of staples, the bath tub not attached to the drain. The two full length mirrors on either side of bed facing the bed. Overall this place should be taken off your list. To be fair it is close to the park enterance, its' another two miles to visitor center. If you wanted a place close to the diamond mine this not the place to stay. But if you want ghost experience this is it.

WE used this as a rest between digs in the park. Kids like the big screen TV and the screen porch was a great place to store our equipment. Quiet, peaceful place. This is a cabin with two bedrooms nice living room and kitchen. Basic necessities

It is a rustic cabin, but with running hot water. The property was clean in some areas, but not others. There were no towels and it only sleeps 4 unless you bring sleeping bags yourself. It is a good location for going to Diamond Crater state park and check in was easy.

We did not cook. The cabin was fine. It is not fancy, it is old and not as clean as some might want but not as dirty as some places Ive been to. If you are looking for a modern cabin this is not for you. The space heaters worked great as temps were in the 30s at night. I do wish we would have brought our own linens but they did provide them other than towels. The campsite is a bit dated and run down but like I said its older. We didnt talk with anyone but people that obviously live there waved and seemed nice enough. We loved that they allowed pets and lots of space to walk our dog. I would stay there again but only for the purpose of sleeping and showering. They have a few places to eat nearby but only one chain place, Sonic. Baskin Robbins was close by too. 😊

Heater was lit when we arrived. Manager met us at the property 5 minutes after our arrival. Little musty smell inside not the cleanest but ok for camp. Overall a good experience .

Do not stay here unless you don’t mind flying roaches landing on you, black mold, rat, and Roach droppings. I guess anyone can list a property on vrbo and they aren’t checked out. I tried contacting owner with no response. Had to go get another hotel. Out my money and explained to vrbo I am allergic to roaches and mold and they still asked me to go back to property to try and get pics of everything.

We went with three ladies. The place across the street was a little scary. There was stuff scattered everywhere. It gave off a bad vibe so we never stayed there. We went back during the day to drop off the key and stayed in a hotel in town. The host was nice and waited for us to get there before he left, but again a scary place for three women to stay. If you are going on a guys trip this place would be great for you but not for women on their own.
