Perfekter Tokyo Visit.

Perfektes Hotel um Tokyo zu erkunden. Super Lager und super Komfort. Für japanische Verhältnisse ausreichend grosse Zimmer. Ruhige Seitenlage in Nähe zum Ueno-Bhf.

Nice hotel in a quiet area of Tokyo - useful for traveling to/from Airport.

The hotel is in a quiet area, yet close to one of the main train stations - which was helpful in traveling back to the main airport. The hotel was smart and the rooms very modern and clean. We were traveling with a small baby and the hotel kindly provided a very nice cot, which is rare in Tokyo!

The restaurant in the hotel was closed early, it would have been nice to have tried it out.

I will gladly return to this hotel for the comfort, convenience, and service.

Ueno station and the surrounding areas are an excellent location for shopping, food, urban nature, museums, and access to Tokyo's vast transit connectivity. This hotel is located within a five minute walk from all of that, but it's tucked away so that didn't hear any of the city noise. The front desk is staffed 24/7, and they were always very friendly and helpful. The breakfast package is very nice, with one "main" dish per morning (selected from ~four options) and an unlimited buffet of bread, fruit, yogurt, tea, juice, coffee, and more. The rooms are large enough to open and unpack most of a standard suitcase. The toilet and shower are clean and modern. I especially appreciated the shower, which was a dual "rain" and detachable wand showerhead. The air conditioning was strong enough to feel cool and dry even on the hottest Tokyo days. The bed was somewhere between an American King and Queen size. It was very firm, which might not be for everyone, but it was clearly a high quality mattress.

The best of Japanese service in an oasis of calm.

The staff were fantastic, the facilities and breakfast menu excellent, the location very well suited to those who want to enjoy the bustle of Ameyoko or the surrounding parks and museums.

Next time in Tokyo for sure agin in Nohega Hotel

The hotel is located 5 mins walk from Ueno-Station, with lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Ueno Park and garden, with its multiple (national-, art-, royal-) museum, zoo, temples and shrines (Shinobazunoike, Gojoten etc.) is close as well. We stayed 7 nights and explored whole Tokyo easily by public transport with comfortable Suica-Card. One day we rented a very comfortable bike from the hotel to explore Ueno surrounding and the graves (Yanaka) and Ginza. Dinner at Nohega Hotel is expensive but very good and stylish. We enjoyed it. And thanks to the hotel team for that marvellous 5th anniversary party of Nohega Hotel. The whole stay was a pleasure.

Overall in Japan, you will find few public places outside the gardens to sit and relax.

Smooth and pleasant stay, would return again!

Incredible experience at a quiet yet highly accessible location. Staff are fluent in conversing, and the room we had simply matched all our expectations and then some. There was space to put 3 luggages and more, 2 chairs and a very modernized toilet and shower room. Much to our surprise there was also a fairly decent bluetooth speaker in the room, which we thoroughly enjoyed utilizing (hopefully not at the expense of other guests!). We also received 2 welcome drinks by using tokens at the lobby, which consist of selections such as sake, wine and beer. There is a balcony of sorts on the second level too, which we unfortunately did not manage to frequent due to the winter cold but I can imagine it would be really popular in other seasons. A 5-10min walk to ueno’s major shopping and eating, and of course the major lines including Keisei express, made this hotel worth every dollar paid even if it’s priced slightly higher than others. Highly recommended.

Clean and comfortable

Very limited breakfast for a plant based diet. No non-dairy milk. We asked prior to booking about this and we were told there would be breakfast. Everyone else gets a 3500 yen breakfast included and we got a salad and coffee

It was OK. Nothing to do with staff, but rooms are not particularly nice.

Restaurant was nice and staff were very helpful and friendly.

Hated the room. The shower was a box and the basin was in the bedroom. Was not inviting.

Great stay, will likely come back

Corner room is more spacious than most considering this is Tokyo, but set up is a bit odd with open bathroom. Location is pretty good, only 5 mins to metro. Rain shower is awesome. Bed is on the hard side - just how i like it

Room is a bit dark, no working / table area - but overall would come back!

Fine but irritated

Close to Ueno station Clean and well appointed

Booked 2 deluxe rooms for 4 people. Breakfast coupons for only 2 included, so had to purchase 1 more…. Front desk staff not service oriented. After paying up front so much they should have the power ok to give 1 more coupon. Instead it was somehow my fault ( even though they knew 4 people were arriving?) and they showed me. It isn’t the amount of money but the idea. Spoke to 4 different people all about breakfast. Irritating. Also 1 of our party left at 7 and was told it wouldn’t be possible to get a quick anything at 6:55 or something to go. Definitely not flexible. Read reviews about the special hard beds and didn’t really believe it….. WOW extremely firm i.e. like sleeping in the floor sums it up. Depends what one likes, I guess.

Clean and conveniently located

Bed is incredibly stiff and caused me sore shoulders. When we asked staff for an extra comforter for padding, none was provided. More economical hotels had better amenities.

Very good quality hotel with friendly service

Exceptionally clean and very warm and friendly staff.

Breakfast was same every day. And they refused our F&B credit at check out because we did not inform the restaurant at the time we had dinner. Which we were not informed about previously.

Musea in verschillende wijken bezocht

Het ontbijt was uitstekend, zelfs wat veel. Het diner s avonds was heel goed maar wel duur.

Niks, we zijn vijf nachten geweest en een keer is er niet goed opgeruimd, vuilniszak blijven staan maar alle andere dagen prima. Ook goed dat ze de keuze bieden om niet iedere dag schone handdoeken te hebben.
