The Deep Creek Recreation Area in the Park has hiking to 3 waterfalls and in the summer you can rent a tube and float down crystal clear water of the creek. You can take a short hike or drive to the Park for a picnic or just to enjoy nature. The Great Smoky Mountains Railroad is less than 2 miles away in downtown Bryson City. The area's mysterious Road to Nowhere is 4 miles away and you'll only be 7 miles from the Cherokee Indian Reservation and Harrah's Casino. Valley View Cottage has everything you need for a relaxing getaway. The hot tub on the side deck will be your relaxation oasis after a day out in the mountains. The screened porch is a great gathering place and you can enjoy your meals there or at the large outside picnic table. You'll be sharing the landscaped yard with numerous flowers and birds and at night you can enjoy a marshmallow roast at the fire pit. Inside you cam relax in the comfortable living room and enjoy a movie on the new wide screen HD TV. If you have an account on Netflix, Hulu, Pandora or Vudu you can use it to see your own shows. Both bedrooms at Valley View Cottage have a queen-size bed and the master has a set of bunk beds for the kids and a new flat screen TV. The other has a private entrance and patio overlooking the side yard. All bookings are subject to local restrictions in place at the time of the stay. We may not be allowed to accommodate all bookings that are made if local rules change after you make a booking. We make every effort to communicate current, local rules and any changes to them.

Home was fully furnished and included lots of amenities. Kitchen was filled with all pots and pans needed for cooking although would say kitchen is a bit small Bathrooms were furnished with towels and little touches of soaps and shampoos Bedrooms were clean Overall home was cozy This is our 2nd visit here and great location to downtown Bryson city

Everything was as described. Management checked in by text few times to ask if everything was ok. House was clean hot tub was clean, plenty of towels stocked in the house. Would stay here again without hesitation.

Thank you! Great time! We didnt get to utilize the free excursions but we still enjoyed our stay in Bryson City. The cabin was nice. Just for those coming from the city, remember to not leave sweet stuff out, ants!!! :)

This cabin was just like pictured online. It was such a great location for everything we planned on doing while in the mountains. Was very comfortable and was so glad we could bring our dogs!

House was very clean inside. Table was small for 4. Cable didn’t work, but we didn’t go there to watch tv. YouTube and Netflix worked, so grandson had his cartoons. Hot tub was not useable; filter housing had broken some time ago and filter was absolutely filthy. All the jets but 2 were clogged and the mildew inside the cover reeked. Fire pit chairs were filthy. Loved the self check-in. Overall, I’d rate it barely adequate. Would not rent this unit again.

The cabin was just as described. The inside was very clean. The porch and deck had old leaves that needed to be blown off. We had a problem with the master shower being clogged, but I called Watershed and it was fixed the very next morning. It was conveniently located to downtown.

We had an amazing stay at this property, I would definitely stay there again if the opportunity arose. It was perfect for our family of five, everyone had such a good time. The location is great, there are neighboring cabins, but it still felt very private without being isolated. The cabin was clean, the beds were SO comfortable, the hot tub was clean and hot, etc. The screened in porch was my personal favorite, the first night we were there it was storming and I sat out there in the dark and listened to the rain. Super cozy! The backyard was also a favorite, you’re surrounded by nature and it was so peaceful to just go out and sit first thing in the morning. No one bothered us, which I loved too. We have no complaints at all.

This cabin was perfect for what we needed, someone comfortable to stay for my daughter’s dance competition. This is the most well stocked place I’ve ever booked on VRBO. I brought my own paper products, but did not even need them (we were there 2 nights). Would definitely stay again if I’m ever in the area.

The pictures of this rental property do not do it justice. It was very clean and quaint. They thought of every little detail to make this a comfortable, relaxing, and magical stay for all ages. They had a variety of board games to play my only complaint is the hot tub never got hot. We will back in the summer to take advantage of cold tub and go tubing.

The cabin is cozy and was perfect for our family fall break in Bryson City/ Deep Creek. We thoroughly enjoyed the screened in porch, deck, and fire pit. Upon arrival the cabin smelled strongly of propane gas and the gas fireplace was hot. Even though my husband and I both felt the fireplace giving off heat and the gas was obviously smelling up the entire cabin, Watershed’s maintenance person claimed there was nothing wrong with it. He did go outside and adjust something on the tank. After this, there was no more gas smell or heat from the fireplace unit. The listing states there is a dishwasher. There is not one in the cabin. We also love coffee and come prepared. It would have been nice for the listing to mention there is only a one cup Keurig machine in the cabin. Not a huge deal, but we would have come prepared to use that rather than a traditional coffee maker. The cabin is cozy and inviting. The only cleanliness issue was some mold growing in the master bedroom bathroom sink cabinet. The cabin is perfectly located to explore Bryson City, Deep Creek trails, and Cherokee.

We are adults in our 70's. The listing included a dishwasher. None there and no place there ever could have been one there. So after standing to cook meals, we had to stand to wash dishes. Also promised was $250 worth of tickets to the train, Biltmore, Jeep rides, etc. There were no tickets for us when we got there or mention of them. On the plus side, the cabin was nice, beds were comfortable, and we lived on the screened in porch.

I rented this property for Sept 6 thru Sept 10, confirmed thru VRBO Requested another night to be added back on Aug 23 Never heard back from property manager, Watershed! Then after we get here I asked for another night and they said it wasn't rented and it would be fine.. Then the property manager is trying to tell me that our booking was for the 9th and we needed to check out and they were going to charge me extra cause I messed up another booking When I sent them a screenshot of my VRBO confirmation she changed her tune and proceeded to tell me VRBO sent them the wrong checkout information...dont book anything thru Watershed Property Mgt They are dazed and confused and you damn sure dont tell someone you are going to charge them extra because YOU double booked the cabin!

We were in town for the Polar Express and this cabin did not disappoint!! The location was a short drive to downtown and the cabin had everything we needed. They even had it decorated for Christmas!! We will definitely stay here again.
