There's also the opportunity to go dolphin watching with specialist companies like Seafaris, charter a yacht with Algarve Yacht Charter or Marina Boat Charters Lagos , go sea kayaking with local companies like Kayak Adventures Lagos where you can explore the dramatic coastline weaving your way through grottoes, caverns and sea stacks. If you are without transport, customers can use the Slide and Splash coaches that collect customers just 500 meters from the apartment. A 40 minute drive will take you to Zoomarine, a family theme park that provide shows including dolphin, seals and sea-lions.

Our party of six adults had a lovely ten day stay. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and spacious. The kitchen was amply provisioned with basics. Convenient parking outside the building. Walking distance to the heart of the historic center in one direction and to the boardwalk along the cliffs in the other direction. The living room was large with comfy seating and a big screen tv. We reached out to Guy with questions a couple of times and he answered almost immediately, even on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve. A great apartment. I would stay again.

Second time staying at the property and it was just perfect.
We made more use of the apartment and pool due to the heat in Portugal.
The apartment is very spacious and has all you need in it.
The apt is close to shops, bars, restaurants and beach and a nice stroll into the city centre. There are some great walks close by and the views are amazing.
The apartment has it all for our family.
Guy was brilliant throughout, easy to reach for questions, the information available in the apt is fantastic. The cost for the apartment, I found very reasonable, especially when you look at what you get.
You must eat in the restaurants by the apt, fantastic especially the blue whale and the italian, delicious food and service close by if the kids dont want to walk to far.
I look forward in returning again very soon.

We had the most amazing stay. A huge thank you to Guy, who is a fabulous host. Guy was incredibly responsive and knowledgeable. The apartment was lovely, clean and spacious. The pool area was fantastic. Location wise, we couldn’t ask for more: only a few minutes from the beautiful beach and ten minutes to the old town. There are lots of lovely restaurants in the immediate vicinity. The only downside is how sad we were to leave! We definitely intend to revisit. Thank you so much, Guy!

4 adults on golfing trip. The accommodation was excellent. Comfortable bedrooms, well equipped kitchen and good living room area. Communication with the owner was good. A 20 minute walk at most to the heart of Lagos while the local beach was nearby.

The ‘Whale’ was wonderful! It was spacious, clean, comfortable furnishing, beautifully decorated, and within walking distance to beaches, restaurants, marina and groceries. We stayed there as 4 adults (2 seniors) and we had no problems accessing everything we needed without transportation. Guy, the host, was very attentive and ready to answer questions. He provided a substantial information binder with excellent information and tips about the area. Definitely recommend the ‘Whale’ and Lagos!

We had a great week staying at Guy's place. It was better than the pictures. The apartment was very large and very tastefully decorated. It was in a secure building and was within walking distance to the beach, boardwalk, restaurants and Old Town Lagos. The bus stop was very close to the apartment if you wanted to travel further and the bus fare is only €1.20 one way so very easy to take advantage of the public transit. The pool was an added bonus and sitting on the covered patio overlooking the ocean was very relaxing. A great view for enjoying all your meals. Guy was very easy to communicate with and we would recommend his apartment to anyone looking to explore Lagos and surrounding areas. You won't be disappointed.

The apartment was ideally suited to enjoy the many activities in Lagos: great restaurants, outstanding walks, access to transportation, shopping and local day trips. We hiked, took a boat to visit the caves and grottos, surfed at a nearby beach, ate wonderful fresh food that we cooked ourselves and also enjoyed eating out. Some of us shopped til we dropped. We also enjoyed music in the squares. It was all delightful.

We had the pleasure of staying in this apartment for two weeks, it was perfect for us travelling as two couples and would easily accommodate six people as it is so spacious. The owner was very easy to communicate with and there was a very handy folder in the lounge with lots of information.
Next door to the apartment are a couple of nice restaurants Don Gull and Onda Norte.
The beach and the old town were both easily reached by foot. Would definitely stay here again.

Fabulous apartment
Owner was extremely easy to deal with. Apartment is huge and spacious. Nice restaurants right beside it.
10-15 min walk to the heart of the old town (with kids walking too) 5min walk to closest beach.
Lots of activities around- kayaking and biat trips etc.
We parked up our car and didn't use it until we left.

Wonderful apartment in Lagos
My wife and I (ages 42/41) and two daughters (ages 10 and 7) had a terrific time in this apartment in Lagos. It was in a great location, just a short walk to the beach and many different restaurants. Had space to park the rental car. Communication with Guy was amazing. Felt welcome. Would strongly recommend the restaurant Alma Lusa, which was maybe a 5 minute walk from the apartment and probably the best food we had in 2 weeks in Portugal. Terrific place.

Clean, well equipped, and roomy apartment. Quiet neighborhood with nice view from terrace, but close to restaurants, town, and beach. Easy communication with Guy who provided lots of useful information on restaurants, activities, and how to navigate the Covid rules in Portugal. Would definitely stay again!

Fantastic Location
We spent 3 very enjoyable weeks at this property. Guy, our host, was very flexible and accommodating to our schedule due to some COVID restrictions. The property is very roomy, clean and comfortable. It’s best feature though is the location. It is an easy 10 minute walk to town and even less to some great restaurants close by. Plus great walking trails to magnificent beaches and cliffs are just out the door . We would definitely choose this property again when we return to Lagos. Thanks Guy!

The apartment is great for families, the girls loved having there own room, the front room was a great size, plenty of room to spread ourselves out, the balcony had a lovely view of the sea and the mountains, all bedrooms are really good sizes and all beds were comfortable, both bathrooms are a good size with nice shower in main bathroom and jacuzzi bath in en-suite.Great communication with guy, always at the end of the phone for any questions and very quick to respond.

O apartamento é muito espaçoso (acolheu muito bem 6 pessoas) e está muito bem equipado com tudo na cozinha para fazer todas as refeições aqui em casa.A sala tb é muito espaçosa e está bem equipada com uma TV grande, XBOX para os miúdos brincarem, BOX da MEO (a internet é um pouco lenta mas dá para ver as msgs e enviar e-mails), e tem um sistema se som muito bom. A piscina tb é muito agradável mas a partir do final da tarde já está toda em sombra, mas ainda dá para dar uns mergulhos refrescantes. Tem óculos de água, bolas, raquetes, pás e baldes para os miúdos brincarem na praia.Uma das características que mais me agradou foi a proximidade da praia que me evitou de ter q ir de carro e ter q andar sempre a procurar lugar para estacionar, pq deu para ir sempre a pé para várias praias mais próximas.Para as compras alimentares tem uma mercearia a caminho da praia e um supermercado mto perto que dá para ir a pé tb, assim como vários restaIrastes ao sair da porta do condomínio.Apartamento mto bem localizado, bem equipado e muito acolhedor, que aconselho vivamente. Será com certeza uma boa opção para quem viaja em família ou com grupo de amigos, e podem contar com a amabilidade do proprietário que foi sempre muito atencioso desde os primeiros contactos.Voltaremos pro ano.Grato por tudo Mrs Guy.

Loved our stay in Lagos
I spent a lot of time looking at places to stay for our February vacation in Lagos. Since it was the off season, I was able to be a little picky and find the perfect place. The reviews are all accurate for this apartment. It really is a gem and we had a wonderful stay. The apartment is located minutes from a beautiful beach and a short walk into town. It’s also very quiet, so we all slept well.
It’s spacious, with plenty of room to move about and relax. The owner Guy is super responsive and accommodating. We can’t wait to come back and would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic apartment in a great location
Renting this apartment was very easy. Guy was superb, he answered all our questions very quickly. The photos do not do the apartment justice. We had a fantastic stay. The location is perfect. We could walk to the beach and cliffs within minutes and there is a great variety of restaurants on hand in Lagos.

Large, comfortable three bedroom apartment.
Our group of five adults, two couples and a single, spent six nights at Guy’s apartment spanning the new year. The two double and one twin bedroom were a perfect fit. The kitchen was sufficient for preparing a couple of in-house dinners (most restaurants were closed or booked up for NYE), and the kitchen table easily seated all of us. The living room is quite large, with plenty of comfortable seating. There is a good sized deck, but being in the shade much of the winter afternoons, we did not spend much time there. We walked into Lagos at least once every day, which took ten to fifteen minutes, depending on where in town we were going. Communication with Guy was excellent, with quick responses to all questions via email or text. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the apartment, and loved Lagos in the winter.

AMAZING, BEAUTIFUL, PERFECT
The property was perfect and so safe, which is what I look for with a young family. I do intense searches so my family get the right place to stay and I got this choice 100% right this year.
From start to finish Guy has been fantastic and very quick in replying to any queries we had.
There is useful information when going into the apartment and a map, which we found very useful.
The apartment was brilliant, so big for a group of 6 including 2 children. The master suite was stunning and the 2 other bedrooms perfect size and really helped with 2 children's beds. Air con in all the rooms which really helped as it was very hot during the time we were there.
The amenities in the apartment were perfect, we couldn't have asked for anything more. I must comment about the beautiful art work. It puts a great touch on walking through the hall and enjoying where you are staying real sense of comfort.
Until you are in the apartment you don't realise how big it is, top floor and at the end, noise to a minimum from other apartments.
The pool was great, very clean and very secure from the public. The pool loungers were secure and no problem with putting them around the pool which was very quiet. Toilet right by the pool which also helped. Big pool and small one for the kids.
The apartment is close to the smaller supermarkets, bars and restaurants. The beach is a 5 minute walk and stunning. We didnt go to the big supermarket, but it wasnt that far away.
The little tourist train is right by the beach, which convenient nipping around on and reasonably priced.
A short walk into Lagos city centre, a short stroll which was nice.
We found that it was busy in some places we made reservations which was good because there were some amazing places to eat and a stroll away.
A must for food, the chinese and indian literally 3 minutes around the corner. El Bastards, the garden, beat burritos, Mullins all amazing.
I have been going to different places in the algarve the last 7 years and I have to say Lagos has been best by far. Not only is it a beautiful place and the people are friendly, the apartment location with the sea view and close to all that you need was perfect.
I look forward in returning in the future and I would seriously recommend this stunning apartment to all.

The photographs don't do the apartment justice. It's very spacious. The location is great for exploring the east side of the town and it's only a short walk into the old centre. Parking was easy on the private road behind the apartment. The pool was a very nice bonus. Thanks Guy for a great week!

Lovely sea view apartment
The apartment is large, comfortable, well equipped and stylish. Balcony is private with a sea view and was well used! The beds are comfortable, 2 king size and 2 twins. Air con in bedrooms and living room, nice and cold. Parking is easy and for residents only. The beach is 5 minutes walk and the old town 10. A lovely apartment, would definitely stay here again!

Fabulous location
The apartment is spotless and well equipped. But the best feature is the location - just 5 mins walk from praia d'ana and a stretch of amazing beaches. It's also just a 10 minute stroll into Lagos with an abundance of restaurants. We particularly loved the coastal walk, discovering new coves and the boat trip to the grottos. We didn't hire a car and once we were there realised it was the right decision. There is plenty to do within walking distance. And the local supermarket is well stocked. We will he back!
