Situated in Smith Mountain Lake, this attractive condo for R 4,586 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. Peninsula Paradise – Renovated Waterfront at Bernard’s Landing When you walk into our lakefront condo, you will find your piece of paradise. You will be “wowed” by the gorgeous wide water and mountain views. You can't get any closer or have easier access to the water than with our ground floor unit. Our condo is located in the Peninsula Towers building. The paint colors, pictures, and accessories in our updated condo create a relaxing vacation look and feel inside. The kitchen is well-stocked with everything you could possibly need. Linens are also provided. The condo has two bedrooms – the master has a King bed and the other has two Twin beds. Each room has flat screen smart TVs. The new Samsung 55 inch smart TV in the living area also has a Bose sound bar. We offer an upgraded Wi-Fi connection (faster than the standard speed at other units) and a great collection of movies, board games, puzzles, etc. Unlike many other rentals that are strictly for investment purposes and rarely used by their owners, we use our condo regularly during all seasons and we go the extra mile to keep our unit very clean, well maintained, stocked, and comfortable for ourselves and our guests. We spent many summers living in this condo full time and we made sure we had all the conveniences of our full time home while there. If you rent our Peninsula Paradise, you will not want to leave this vacation “home away from home.” This is a ground floor unit, however, there are 10 steps from parking lot to the condo front entry and 17 steps from the condo down to the courtesy boat slips. See photos. You are welcome to bring your own boat to leave at the courtesy boat slips. You will need to get a guest boater decal from Bernard's Landing for your boat and trailer ($20/day.) THE PROPERTY: Bernard's Landing is considered THE premier resort at SML and has received numerous Platinum awards voted on by readers of The Laker and The Roanoker magazines including 'best place to stay.' Bernard’s Landing resort offers great amenities including: indoor and outdoor swimming pools; hot tub; several sandy beaches; basketball, tennis and pickle ball courts; a fitness center and sauna; an award winning waterfront restaurant and bar; an onsite ramp to launch your boat, a marina with boat, jet ski, kayak, canoe and paddle board rentals, and courtesy boat docks just steps from your back door. The resort is conveniently located a short 10-13 minute drive to the Westlake and Bridge Point Plaza areas where you will find a variety of restaurants, quaint specialty stores, grocery & drug stores, putt-putt, game arcade, and a movie theater. ADDITIONAL: If you don’t have a boat, you can view the lakefront scenery and million dollar homes from the Virginia Dare, a 19th century side paddle wheeler, which offers cruises on the lake. There is plenty to do at Bernard’s Landing, but if you want to venture out, sightseeing options include wineries, the Smith Mountain Dam Visitors Center, the National D-Day Memorial in Bedford, Booker T. Washington National Park, Smith Mt. Lake State Park, Transportation Museum in Roanoke, or the Peaks of Otter near the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Came for a wedding. Was a short stay but the accommodations were very comfortable and clean. Near the venue that we needed to be. Check in was easy. Made for a good experience

Enjoyed our stay the weekend of visiting a friend who got married. the deck was place to be, we loved movement from the marina sail boat classes, all the movement on the water. Can’t wait to plan another trip to SML⛵️

This was a sister/Mom/Daughter/Grandson getaway. We enjoyed the facilities, the quietness, and the chance to be together. Loved this kitchen and the owners were very good about responding…definite yes to this accommodation…had to get used to the size of the small second bathroom, but it was worth it!

Perfect place for our family! If the lake is too chilly, you still have access to an outdoor and indoor pool. Quiet location and perfect for our toddler. Sandy’s place had everything we needed to (more than) comfortably get through the week!

Our first time to SML did not disappoint. The place was perfect for our family of 4 - well stocked, great location, and amazing view. The owner even let us check in early which was super nice. Would absolutely recommend and will stay here again!

My wife and I keep our boat on the lake and missed the lake. Its still to cold to stay on our boat so we made plans to stay at this condo. It was great. Close to a restaurant we enjoy and directly in front of tge lake. Just walk out onto the patio and watch the ducks on the boat docks or geese in the lake gracefully paddling along. The owner was readily available for communication to make sure our stay was enjoyed. Which it was.

The location of Sandy's condo was perfect. It enhanced the beauty and peacefulness of the lake. My husband enjoyed the patio/deck especially in the evening and early morning. Sandy made us feel welcome and she was very helpful with directions and assisting with getting the master bedroom TV turned on. The condo was fully furnished and stocked with everything we needed and beyond. We didn't want to leave; vacation ended too soon!!! Thank you Sandy!!

We had a great time staying at this lakeside condo. It was a perfect spot, and the condo was the perfect size for our family of 4. The condo was well equipped, with toys, games, movies, and even floats for the pool. The deck is very nice, and an excellent place to dine while you are there. The condo is walking distance to the pool and little beach, and has immediate access to the boat dock. Being ground level was perfect for the kids to get out and run. The owner was extremely responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay again! It was clean and very comfortable.

Peaceful (except for the person stomping upstairs (12:30am) the night before we left. Then Stomping again from 5:30am - about 6:30am. We had just done a Half Ironman before this stomping began so it was pretty irritating to be so exhausted and have to deal with the excessive noise. Not at all the owners fault. The place has all the necessary items to make you feel completely at home but the person(s) upstairs are not at all considerate.

This was a perfect property for our stay. It was well equipped and had the most awesome view of the lake! Although the wedding we came to attend was not on the Bernard Landings property is was only a short ride to the venue and local stores for provisions. This condo was very clean and comfortable. We would definately stay here again.

My husband and I enjoyed a lovely long weekend. The master bed is super comfy and the linens and towels provided were also very soft and comfortable. The view is spectacular!! And the kitchen is well stocked with everything you could possibly need. I cooked all of our meals using the grill and stove and oven. There are cutting boards and knives and plenty of utensils and pots and pans. It was perfect. We enjoyed the gas fireplace and spent time watching some old favorite movies that were available in the owner's collection. We hope to definitely stay again!

This is a lovely condo with all the amenities you could ever need. The owner is amazing. Sandy will make sure that any questions you may have are answered quickly. The weather was cloudy but we still enjoyed our stay. We visited a couple of local wineries and their tasting were awesome. We had dinner at Napoli at the Lake one evening. Their staff were so friendly and our entrees were delicious. We had a great time and will be back!

This was a wonderful place to stay. Condo is exactly as pictured. The place was very clean and well stocked. The view from the patio is spectacular. We pretty much spent all of our time there. The layout of the condo is perfect. Enough room in the kitchen for more than one person to move around. Kitchen overlooks living area and you can see the patio so everyone is always included. Sandy was easy to communicate with and very responsive and helpful even after we checked out. I highly recommend Sandy and her condo. We would definitely stay here again.

Sandy's condo is everything a family of four could want for a lakeside getaway. The place is super clean, nicely updated, well-stocked and perfectly located. The view from the patio is crazy gorgeous -- a wide expanse of lake with mountains in the background. You also get all the amenities of Bernard's Landing: a couple of pools, a beach, boat docks, tennis and pickleball courts, and more.Sandy was super easy to communicate with and was responsive to questions. Not that there were many questions -- her guidebook lays out all of the info you need. There's a huge collection of DVDs and games, plenty to entertain everyone on a rainy day.Sandy and her condo get five stars all the way around. We will plan our next trip to Smith Mountain Lake around the availability of this place.

This place is absolutely beautiful. It had everything we could have wanted: clean and comfortable accommodations and a lake view. During our stay we had a cool and cloudy day, but the huge selection of games and movies at the property kept us entertained. This stay was a surprise mother's day gift for my niece, a first-time mom. Sandy is a #SUPERHOST, she made sure that flowers and balloons were already in the room upon my niece's arrival. My niece's response: "I am soo Happy!"
