Family friendly. Enjoy a fantastic holiday in a secluded rain forest setting. Self contained house 6kms from Nimbin, NSW, AUSTRALIA. The best possible accommodation. Lots of wild life, with Wallabies and Paddy Melons coming right up to the house. There is everything you need , with ceramics made in our studio, tastefully decorated interior, large verandah and BBQ in the pool area. Babies and children welcome. Very private setting on 30 acres.

Stunning peaceful rainforest location, warm and friendly hosts, gorgeous artistic house perfectly clean and beautiful refreshing pool. Will be sure to visit again 😊

Pool was filthy no oven or microwave only one wine glass and the tv has no reception and dvd not working
Both front and back doors would not latch and kept flying open in the wind
Ended up cutting our stay short expect much better for the price we paid

Place is located in a very secluded area with plenty of wildlife about and a very casual approach well away from city / town life.
Picking your own fruit. fixing your own fire (it was winter and cold at night) was quite charming - but one guest has to be reasonably practical to enjoy it. The last section of the road to the accommodation was a little off-putting but a relatively low clearance model 3 BMW had no issue (apart from mud when it rained). I`ll come back - please!

The property is such a calming and relaxing place. Thank you Jagad for your hospitality,
and letting us really feel at home at your place.
There is so much to keep the kids entertained, they picked tomatoes and salad from the garden, went swimming, amazing nature walks and we used the sauna everyday. There was even colouring in and reading books for kids too.
But the best added bonus to our family retreat was having access to the beautifully peaceful temple and having it to ourselves.
The property has so much character and presence of calm that we left feeling relaxed and revived. Thank you again for having us we will definitely be back.

I found the place quite cute and charming, loved the location, although a little difficult to get in a small car. The place needed a bit better of a clean especially some of the dishes. However all in all, I enjoyed my time and I enjoyed the serenity. If these few small issues were to be fixed, it would be one of my favourite holiday locations.

Located in a bush setting close to town. We we're lucky enough to spot frogs and an owl in the evening.

A serene place to put your feet up and just relax. I loved the full use of the veggie patch and fruit trees. The accommodation is charming and private and Wolf was an excellent host.
I would highly recommend the Black Sheep Farm to anyone who wants to disconnect from a busy schedule and soak in beautiful scenery.

An unique wooden cottage in the rainforest, with a private swimming pool and sauna (what a treat!).
Wolf and Jagad were resourceful to help us manage our situation - kids on holidays while husband working full time.

Beautiful spot. Unfortunately my family was unable to come with me so I was travelling solo and careless. I got dropped off and then made executive decision to have a shower and stay with my friends as I was worried I wouldn’t be able to get where I needed to go. I hope to stay at Black Sheep properly one day. Such a chill environment and great facilities.

A little too back to nature for us.
Spiders throughout the house a concern with kids and outside bathroom whilst readily accessible was inconvenient having to go outdoors with kids during the evenings who where too scared to go on their own.

A perfect little runaway.

Peace and Quiet
Quiet, Peaceful so relaxing. Short drive to Nimbin but the property was so nice no need to go anywhere. Pool was excellent and set in a beautiful landscape.

Absolutely amazing
We orginally had this property booked but after an emergency hospital stay we needed ro change the dates. Mac did this with no worries at all. We had a great time away on our 'mums getaway'. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a nice place to unwind, have a BBQ and a few (or many) drinks!

Charming & peaceful spot
This was the rest we really needed. Lovely spot, with every comfort needed and the best nights sleep/in we've had in a long time. Only regret not staying longer.

It was magical!
My friends and I spent a couple of nights here and it was such a beautiful place to be in. The cottage was adorable, lots of fun times had around the pool and walks along the creeks during the day and beautiful spots on the property to stargaze at night. Mack the host was very hospitable. We are grateful to have spent time somewhere so lovely.

A wonderful short stay
My partner, son and I stayed here for two nights. It was such a great short break for us. The cottage was beautiful and clean. The bed was comfortable. It was so great to have the pool to swim in.
We were lucky enough to see some pademelon on dusk.
The owner was lovely and let us enjoy our privacy and were made to feel at home.
