El ambiente amistoso del lugar, las opciones de tomar clases de escalada y el restaurante.
Las camas son duras.. pero pude descansar.

So peaceful - if you’re looking for a place to disconnect then this is for you. Electricity from 6pm-5am only. No AC. Wifi only on bar (when electricity is on). Very chilled!
Doors could fit better

Welcome to the jungle!

Really nice staff.
It is double the price then accomodations right near by of similar quality but had hot water and wifi in room. Bed was not comfortable.
WiFi only works my bar.
We knew that there was only power at night so this was not a surprise. And no hot water.
I would stay here again if other places were booked

If it was high season, this place would be great. Room was simple- fan and bathroom, but decent. What youd expect. Staff was friendly.
Completely empty and nothing happening in tonsai so it was really eeri for 2 female travelers. Definitely go in high season. Pillow was a bit moldy and asked for a change but they couldn't.

Tonsai Beach is extremely beautiful and very empty during low season, the area was hit pretty hard by covid.
The place is a bit run down. No electricty during the day so very dark, shower was leaking. Water 40 baht/bottle.

location was beautiful, staff were lovely. bar and restaurant was great
the room was quite basic. not very comfortable and full of bugs. electricity was 6pm-3am which meant the fan was only on then and our charger didn’t fit into the one socket so couldn’t charge anything.

Staff were very friendly. Bar was a very good vibe and the facilities did the job, though i would have loved an AC UNIT as it was very hot XD
AC unit could have been their. Also electricity the full day.

The epic adventure of getting there, the remoteness, the vibe. As they told me 'Its one of the last places left of old Thailand". If you are looking for something unique and not for standard tourists then this is.your place
Nothing really. It was epic

Beautiful nature around, mountains, garden. Small house, but cute with terrace to sit outside. Have restaurant with price not expensive, thai food is very good. Big territory, have place for yoga. Have a bar, nice to sit in the evening.
Do not have electricity during the day from 6am to 6pm. When you are really hot after beach, come back 4-5 pm, Very hard to stay in room. In bathroom have only toilet paper, no hot water. Room was not very clean. The beach is quite far, have big fence from one side of bay to another, should walk around. Beach is very shallow, can swim only with high tide, in April it was only morning and late evening.

loved the rustic vibe and jungle location. plus the great vibe of the area in general - loads of great bars, cafes, street food etc. easy walk to railay over the beach.

The location of Chill Out Bar and Bungalows is by far the best thing about this stay - it was like staying in a little festival village on the beach. Very rough and ready, but at a nice distance away from the tourist over-populated (for my liking) strip of Ao Nang beach.
There were monkeys jumping on the roof of my hut, which was fun to see/hear, and fantastic lizards wandering about the village. A strange wall separated the beach from the village, which my friend researched and found that it was built by a hotel resort to covet the beach for a resort. The village life, kitchen cafes and Chill Out bar prevail, surrounded by beautiful wall art/murals showing messages of freedom and letting go. The staff were friendly and relaxed, there were also plenty of party vibes if you wanted them. The food in all the bars/cafes was amazing and so cheap and everyone was friendly. The beach is beautiful, not too busy and the beach bar played cool chilled music. It is also a hotspot for rock climbers and was fun to watch while enjoying a sunbathe, read and swim. An easy scramble over to Railay beach when the tide is low makes this a perfect spot to pop over, but avoid tourist bustle. The scenery and sunsets were idyllic.
For all of this, and the adventures to other islands off the coast from here, I would stay here many times over.
I would have preferred a slightly cleaner and more functional shower/bathroom. And maybe a few less termites/cockroaches who tried to make my hut a little messy.

Simply superb place. A hidden away paradise best to be seen sooner rather than later. The huts are brill. You can tell the guy who owns it knows how to sort a shower out in a hut. I love the place. Hope it never changes.
Can't think of anything. If your in a jungle , eyes on and in a few days you'll be acclimatised.

In the jungle but close to tonsai beach! Nice monkeys! Very relaxed atmosfere!
There is only one electric soket in the room and electricity runs from 6 pm to 6am.

The place looks awesome it even has a treehouse with a hammock in it!!! The staff are super kind and friendly. Location is amazing right by everything that you need and a short walk from the beach.
There were only 2 plug sockets in the room which 4 people were in. also the plug sockets were the 2 print plug only which is different to the rest of Thailand (caused problem for me as I had 3 prong with no issues anywhere else). in the bathroom there is lots of little bugs did not cause a problem just made me feel a little uneasy.

It was a nice sweet bungalow to yourself. Don't expect much, it's not for you if you're into big comforts. Cold water shower which was necessary in the heat. Great location.
I literally got electrocuted from the single plug that there is in the room. You have electricity from evening to 6am but only one plug, so I unplugged the fan to charge my phone and got a huge shock down my arm. Thankfully I dropped the charger. They obviously don't have a functional/safe electrical system. It should have turned off with that much current going through it. They probably don't even have a circuit breaker. I was quite shocked and couldn't use the fan or lights for the rest of the trip out of fear. I told the receptionist and he started laughing at me. Can you believe it? If it wasn't for this incident I would have given a great review but nothings worth a risk like that. I also don't think the guy had any intention of raising / reporting / fixing this situation.

Located in the jungle, nice view. Next to a lot of climbing areas.
Way too much money for what you get. My mattress was mouldy, everything was old and broken, dripping taps in the bathroom.
They say they are sustainable but whole Tonsai is powered by generators.
Also 50% of the restaurants and shops nearby were abandoned.. really sad.
We were very disappointed... this was the most expensive accommodation on our trip and we never felt more uncomfortable.

This is a really cool spot with amazing art around and wooden treehouse and great outdoor chill zone. Restaurant and bar right there. Didn’t mind no A/C as the windows open with the night breeze was nice and refreshing (it was raining).
Was a bit disappointed that the listing said wifi would be available at the bar during the day however staff said that was very hot and miss. Just thought that should be more clear on the listing as I work online and require checking in throughout the day. Also thought the price was a bit high at 1200Baht considering our other accommodations (which were nice for less) in the area. Perhaps it was because I booked sort of last minute? Overall very cool spot and we enjoyed our stay.

Our bungalow had a great view, as it was higher up than the rest. Cozy interior and very nice balcony. Basic bathroom. Great restaurant on site and many nearby, all very budget friendly. Very atmospheric all in all, with a laid back climber / backpacker vibe.
Tonsai beach is amazing and not as touristy as Railay west. The nature is beautiful. There is a nice jungle trail to get to the other beaches.
No electricity between 6 am and 6 pm, which means no fan or charging devices. This was not enclosed to us before making the reservation. And only one outlet there anyway, so you couldn't do both.
A lot of different ant colonies invaded our bungalow on our stay, but this might be normal in the territory.
