Nice place to stay

Nice location. The owner is really nice. He recommended us places to go and activities. The breakfast is good.

Not really clean. Verry cold rooms.

Lovely acommodation with exceptional staff, great location, and great breakfast!

Manager Yassine was so nice and helpful, was nice talking to him at breakfast! Great, central location - easily accessible via the nearby parking lot at hotel Parador. Lovely authentic decor, quaint roof terrace and a delicious breakfast. 10/10!

Good option for weekend

The location is perfect, you can park around and not many stairs to climb that is nice. Staff super friendly and helpful. Room perfect size, clean and confortable. The breakfast super good.

Gorgeous hotel with amazing hospitality!

We loved everything about this gorgeous hotel. It is centrally located, yet really peaceful. The views from the bedroom were amazing. We loved the breakfast, which was freshly cooked with lots of love every morning! Special mention to Yassim, who took time out to take us for a drive up to the waterfalls and who went above and beyond the call of duty to make us feel welcome!

top location; panorama view of the Spanish mosque; beautiful rooftop terrace with great breakfast; but most of all AMAZING HOSPITALITY: thank you Yassine! You really made my stay in Chefchaouen the highlight of my 2 weeks Morocco tour.

Perfect stay

Great location, amazing view from the rooftop terrace. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Best breakfast I've had in Morocco. It can get a bit cold in the night, but there's thick blankets to keep you warm. I'll be back one day!

Great Place to Stay

Excellent location, comfortable rooms and great roof top. View from room balcony was beautiful too. Staff was friendly and helpful. A special thank you to the lady who cleaned the rooms and prepared breakfast, she is wonderful and kind, a true gem.

Excellent staff, wonderful value

Hotel Manager was amazing - excellent communication before and during my stay. As I was a female traveling alone he double checked and vetted the tours I had set up and transportation arrangements made. It would have been impossible for him to have been more professional or helpful. Breakfast was generous and tasty.Very clean, great location, amazing value.

Lovely stay for a couple

The host was very helpful and nice. The breakfast was great, and recommended! The hotel is very centric and offers great value for the price. Be sure to ask for recommendations as the staff will give you a map :)

It was definitely cold in the room, even many hours after turning on the heating.

Great location, great hosts - you cannot do better in Chefchaouen.

Very good

Yassin was super nice and helpful! He recommended a great place for dinner that we really liked. We had trouble parking and he found someone who could take care of it (after paying 30 dirham per night). The terrace where we had breakfast is stunning!

Great room is a beautiful city!

Yassine is a wonderful host and the staff is very kind and helpful. The rooftop is exceptional for the views and comfort. And it has its own WiFi so it was very comfortable to hang out there and socialise with other travels. The breakfast was top notch!

I wish I could have stayed 4 or 5 days. It was so relaxing there.

my stay was exceptional and I will come back in the future

we loved the amazing views from the terrace. We appreciate it the homemade meals in the morning. The staff were extremely friendly, gracious and down to earth. I would definitely come back and stay here in the future.

There’s really no complaints that I have about the property. It was a nice hotel it was clean, and very cozy with amazing views.

Well this is a very difficult review to write. Chefcaucin is not just any old city town, with traditional building and taxi access etc.. Hotel koutoubia building was probably constructed a few hundred years ago in a town on the side of a mountain, and then recently been converted to a hotel. Hotel koutoubia is is located in the blue city area, hence a taxi can only leave you on the outskirts, and you then have to navigate the narrow steep streets on your own, which is all part of the adventure. Im sure the hotel staff would meet your taxi and guide you to the hotel.i am relatively active and able bodied, but for those who are not, I wouldn't recommend a hotel in the centre of the old town. Hotel koutoubia and roomswas spotlessly clean,.the rooms are basic, with a comfortable bed, and good WiFi. No television or fridge in the rooms. The bathroom was clean and basic, but had for me, the all essential loads of hot water. Just due to the age and design of the building rooms not particularly sound proofed. An excellent breakfast was served on an enclosed roof terrace with amazing views. The reception staff where excellent and helpful.I hasten to add that all off the above comments about hotels location etc etc will apply to almost all other hotel within the old cities walls

Really nothing to complain about, if you keep in mind the age of the building and the owner has done a great job with it.

Great location and great service.

The locationwas only 5 minutes by foot to the main square. It was in the medina, Our room was very small and faced out onto the medina so it was a bit loud at times. They have a wonderful enclosed roof top which has spectacular views of the mountains and city. The service was great. Breakfast was traditional and generous.

He is very helpful, always concerned that everything is ok, he is always ready to help you during your stay. The hotel is well located within the medina, the hotel is fantastic inside and has a fantastic rooftop to spend time and watch the mountains
