We loved the place, a short walk to downtown, very centrally located. Fully equipped kitchen and everything we needed for a comfortable three night stay with a family. Torben was a gracious host and we appreciated his help and advice.

This unit served us well as a place to explore and adventure around Tofino. It's a small but functional space and very close to both the town and beaches.

Walking distance to the town, beaches, trails, restaurants, etc. The bed was very confortable.

Communication with mgmt was very smooth. We needed to check in a day early and check out a day earlier than planned, he was extremely accommodating. Stayed here with my 1.5 year old and husband, more than enough room for us. We walked to town multiple times a day, one way is a 2-2.5km walk so can get tiring at times. But we enjoyed the distance! One thing to note, hot water- only enough for one person to shower. We ended up taking turns, one of us in the AM and one in the PM. Would stay here again!

The property had lots of space, nice beds, great location and a functioning kitchen. However the toaster consistently burned my toast on one side and left the other side uncooked. Overall it was a good stay but I thought I was having a stroke every morning.

The property needs some basic maintenance. It is a triplex with an old car parked at the front and a shed that is falling apart. The landscaping is not maintained so it is a disappointment to drive up to see. It has been freshly painted inside but the bedroom smells musty. The bed is comfortable. It was a quiet place as no noise from the long term tenants in the other two units. There were enough dishes to cook meals however, the BBQ on the deck was mouldy and the deck also needs repair. Wifi connection is good and it is close to Tofino.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Hideaway it is walking distance to town, Mackenzie Beach and the famous Tacofino stand and mini mall. The manager Torben could not have been more accommodating and helpful !

We enjoyed the apartment. Clean, quiet and great location. Torben responded to our inquiries within minutes. Mid week the main door handle malfunctioned - he had it replaced immediately. The kitchen could use more accessories: baking pans and a large salad bowl would have been helpful.

Communication with Torben was very good. Unfortunately when we arrived another colleague had rented out our accommodation to someone else for 2 of the 3 nights which was disappointing even though we had phoned earlier in day and previous week to say we would be arriving around 8pm. Torben went out of his way to seek alternative accommodation for us which we were very happy with. I know people can make mistakes so it didnt really spoil our time in Tofino. Management may need better communication system in future. Smoke alarm did go off when opening oven door to put something in because a foil tray was left in oven which hadnt been cleaned and poor positioning of oven door near smoke alarm. A regular kettle would have been good too.

we had a good time, a nice place with a lot of space and clean. A bit outside Tofino and hard to find, as you cannot see the number, when driving by.

Great little hidden gem! So clean and the host anticipated all our needs. Well stocked kitchen and apartment. Sort walk to downtown and even shorter to the brewery! I would for sure stay there again.

Torben and his family were welcoming and helpful. The location is convenient and easily accessible. The space is clean and accurately represented. It would be awesome to have a full size fridge and hot water tank, but the small tank helped us with tofino’s water conservation efforts! Lol. The neighbours were awesome and friendly. To take the property from 4 stars to 5 stars, I would love to have had a better outdoor space to enjoy from the deck door. We would definitely stay here again! Thanks so much for an awesome stay. ❤️

Definitely a budget apartment. Limited hot water, only two small fridges, bare minimum kitchen ware, and no broom or vacuum. Ok if staying a few nights but if staying more than that, you’ll find the place in want of the basic amenities above.

This suite was very cozy, clean and close to town. The bedroom was quiet at night. The owner was very responsive to questions. It is a new suite so lacked a few minor things: WiFi and some basic cookware. Also a little yard maintenance could go a long way to create a better first impression.
