only good thing was the location

Too cold. No heat. Shower was hand held as the wall holder was broken. Three year old reviews show the same problem. Towels were well worn to the point of see through. Dish cloth and dish drying cloth looked like floor rags. Four day stay with a two day supply of toilet paper. We went to the Dollar Store and bought extra paper and dish cleaning supplies as well as a toilet brush. Bed was comfortable. Sofa not so much. When we were inside we were wrapped in a bedspread or wore our coats.

Excellent location close to all the major sites and restaurants.

The shower head had to be held by hand as the wall mount was broken. The door handle to the bathroom was loose so the door couldn’t be closed completely. Otherwise we had a great stay in Coimbra.

Location was brilliant (if you don't mind some noise). Right in the centre of everything.

Only adequately furnished and supplied. Main bed very comfortable second bed terrible. As examples, no wine glasses, only pint glasses (now rectified at our expense). Two teaspoons, one each, but a few more would have been useful. Just enough toilet paper to survive. Ok but only minimum effort made.

The location is amazing. If it's your first trip to Coimbra and you want everything to be convenient, this is the place. Plenty of hot water and the washer/dryer was excellent.

Very sparse. This was a fantastic bargin but definitely felt basic. Tiny shower, no dishtowels etc.

When I arrived I had to pay a 5 Euro fee and the apartment manager did not have change for a 10 Euro note which I found very strange. He promised to slip my change under the door, but didn't do it. I had to message him several times before he finally arrived at the apartment as I was leaving. He still had no change, but fortunately this time I had a 5 Euro note so could give him the money and get my 10 Euro note back. This is very annoying and should never happen.

The place was spacious, clean and had everything we needed for our short getaway.

- Although there were toiletries and towels, there was no toilet paper in the apartment but we had EVERYTHING else.

Location is fantastic - so easy to walk everywhere, lots of good places to eat nearby and you can watch the world go by on the Main Street from your window. Huge apartment with washing machine even.

A bit loud in the morning. The windows are not double glazed so we got woken up early by outside noise.
