The host was absolutely A+. Nicola picked us up at the train station, helped us get settled, and returned us to the train station at the end. His wife had a beautiful fresh cake waiting for us, and there was a bottle of wine. The apartment was beautifully kept and very convenient. We walked to everything we wanted to see in Ravenna. We had everything we needed in the kitchen. The washing machine and dishwasher were easy to use. It's a beautiful, comfortable and spotlessly clean apartment. Ravenna itself was a dream come true.

Nicola and Antonella’s apartment is very spacious, quiet, well-equipped and impeccably clean. The location is fantastic, conveniently located close to many restaurants, shops and attractions of Ravenna’s historical center. The hosts are charming, thoughtful and helpful. We could not have asked for a better experience and we hope to be back again soon.

My friend and I had a wonderful experience at Nicola’s apt. in the beautiful town of Ravenna. They are such a nice family and we’re ready to help at any time. We were picked up at the train station by his wife, Antonella and lovely daughter, who speaks perfect English. This was a wonderful treat because I usually take a taxi to my rentals. So kind! They left us a nice bottle of wine and Antonella made us a delicious cake. They were thoughtful and accommodating in every way. Nicola also speaks English. The apt. is on the 3rd floor (US), 2nd in Italy so we did get our exercise. There is a beautiful terrace to use. Large great towels were provided and very comfortable furniture. Coffee shops and good restaurants all about. Ravenna is a beautiful and friendly town and Nicola and his family did everything to make our stay enjoyable. They even carried our bags up those flights of stairs. Stay here if you can.

My husband and I have stayed in many VRBO rentals in Italy (and elsewhere). Nicola’s flat is scrupulously clean - and surprisingly spacious. All the historic sites of Ravenna proper iare within walking distance from his his flat, and in the case of Classe, just a bus short ride away from ‘round the corner. But without a doubt, the best part of our stay was Nicola himself. He is the essence of generosity and treated us as if we were family or personal guests: he collected us (and our heavy bags) at the rail station even though we were an hour late, delivered us back to the station at.the conclusion of our stay, and recommended a variety of interesting restaurants. We’ve stayed in rentals across Europe and North America, and this apartment tops them all. Spacious, airy and filled with light, it is tastefully appointed with everything one needs. The apartment is in the heart of Ravenna’s historic center, providing easy walking to the sites, restaurants, shops and train station. The hosts Nicola and Antonella are awesome, going above and beyond with warmth and kindness to ensure a great stay. This is truly a five star property.

We stayed in the apartment for a week in late July 2022 and have only good things to say about it. We had an excellent stay not least due to the location and quality of the apartment but also due to the great host. Would return :-)

The apartment is located ideally in the city’s center. It is spaciou and beautifully furnished, lots of style, nice sofa to relax on, wood floors snd climate control. Best thing apartment-wise: The fantastic balcony which is rather a terrace, where you’ll find shadow even on the hottest August days. From here, the beaches are easily reached by car, the supermarket is in walking distance und you’ll get great coffee just across the street. Nest thing in general: the wonderful hosts, Nicola and Antonella. What a warm welcome we got - they helped with our luggage ( and we had a lot…), Antonella even baled a cake for us which was accompanied with a great bottle of wine. What kindness snd warmth! Other thsn that they were absolutely discreet, we had total privacy and felt completely at home. Thank you so much Antonella and Nicola, for your kindness, good humour and warmth! We’d love to come back sometime.

We stayed for one week and loved every minute. Ravenna is a fascinating place, particularly good in you like to walk or ride a bike. The apartment is perfectly located, spacious and well fixed for everything--even a washer. A relaxing and private terrace. Kitchen has all you need, with a great market down the street. Hosts are charming. We would happily return.

We had a lovely time at Via Guidone 23! Nicola was so kind and hospitable, the apartment is beautiful and spacious and had everything we needed. Highly recommended! We will be back!

You can walk to 5 UNESCO sites all within 10 mins of apartment. Great restaurants/shopping are all within 5 minutes. I was greeted by my host (who lives in the building) and generously left homemade biscotti and a bottle of wine. I will hope to stay here the next time I visit.

This was our second one week stay here. Very nice owners, spacious and clean apartment. Perfect location to see everything in wonderful Ravenna and quick walk to train station for easy daytrips to Bologna, Ferrara, etc.

Nicola was a wonderful host helping us check-in and take care of the car parking. Apartment is lovely with a beautiful terrace. Very modern and comfortable! Ravenna was a lovely surprise to our trip. Really enjoyed the mosaics and a half a day at the beach was a bonus.

Nicola and Antonella are fantastic hosts. From the delicious cake and wine on arrival, to giving us some fresh, local organic strawberries, to the frequent check-ins to see if we needed anything during our stay. The apartment is superb - very spacious, lovely decor and a great terrace off one of the bedrooms. The location of the property is great too, just a short walk from the historic centre of the town. Ravenna is a beautiful town. We travelled to different parts of the region during our stay (San Marino, Modena, Rimini, etc before leaving for 3 nights in Bologna), but preferred Ravenna over them all! We’d definitely come back. Thanks for making our trip to Ravenna so special, Nicola and Antonella. Take care.

We had a wonderful stay in Ravenna starting when Nicola met us at the train station and brought us to the apartment. It’s located perfectly for easy waking access to the mosaics and central city. Nicola was a generous helpful host, offering us a home baked torte, which was delicious, and a bottle of Italian wine to welcome us. His restaurant recommendations were perfect and he assisted us to navigate our travels whenever he could. The apartment was spacious and light with a lovely terrace and well equipped kitchen. We would definitely stay there again.

This is a wonderful property in a prime location in the heart of Ravenna. Nicola, from the very start of the process of booking through meeting us at the train station to take us to the apartment, was fantastic to work with. I can't recommend this place enough!

Wonderful stay in a beautiful city.

This was truly a unique and amazing experience to stay at Nicola’s apartment in Ravenna. It is such a different experience when someone invites you into their home. Nicola and his wife live on the second floor and the apartment is on the third floor. As a disclaimer, there are about thirty stairs and there is no lift. This was not a problem for me, but someone who struggles with stairs may want to consider a more suitable place. Arrival: Nicola kept in close contact with me for the few days before my arrival and insisted that he pick me up at the train station. I was very grateful for the ride. Truth be told, the walk from the station to the apartment was less than ten minutes but I did not want to refuse his hospitality. When we arrived at the apartment, Nicola’s wife had baked me a delicious local cake and they also had a bottle of red wine waiting for me. As I say, amazing hospitality. The apartment: is quite large and has room to accommodate at least four people comfortably. I was here alone so for me it was a lot of space. I believe the master bed was a king or similar. The walk in closet has enough storage space for a year’s worth of clothing. The kitchen was finely appointed with everything you would need to prep, cook and eat some fine meals. Of course I ate out every night I was here lol The bathroom was larger than my bedroom at home. It had the standard toilet/bidet and a free-standing tub, which was huge. The dining room table was large enough to accommodate a six person dinner party quite comfortably. The living room/den space had two large leather sofas in front of an elegant entertainment/tv area. The apartment was furnished with lots of local art and figurines as well as a lovely collection of candle holders. There was also a beautiful terrace with plenty of seating. The terrace was surrounded by greenery and had lighting for some nighttime fun. The location: you are on a quiet and safe street which is less than a two minute walk from the main piazza. The main sights and landmarks were within a very short walking distance, as well. There were some great restaurants in that same proximity. Grazie Mille Nicola 🤙�🏼�

My sister and I spent six nights at Nicola's apartment. It was a delightful stay. The apartment is just as lovely as the photos suggest. It is very clean and comfortable - the weather was warm enough so that we could even enjoy the terrace. We felt at home right from the start. The location - in the heart of the old section of the city - is perfect. We walked everywhere and were charmed by the cobbled streets, lovely shops and local bicylce traffic. Nicola is a marvelous host - very friendly, responsible, helpful and thoughtful. He picked us up from the train station, provided a bottle of wine and his wife's homemade cake to welcome us to the apartment, and drove us back to the station at the end of our stay. He responded quickly each time we contacted him with questions or concerns. We chose the perfect place!

Right in the old town close to everything yet quiet. Gracious, helpful host to boot. We would choose it again
