Sand Dollar Property is located on the beach; however, for those seeking ocean views from the master and living room, with the sound of waves lapping as you fall asleep, this is not the unit for you. It is spacious clean and provides basic amenities. Owner was responsive, but unable to accommodate a move to a different room. When you look at the photos, check the very last one where there is a view from the balcony - by leaning over the railing you can see the ocean. There is also the same picture zoomed and cropped following it that is misleading. We know for next time however, for those of you booking your dream vacation expecting ocean front views, This is not it. With that being said, units provide easy access to the beach, nice pool, Jacuzzi, cleanliness, plenty of room, ample parking. If you swim past the second sandbar, grab a pair of goggles and you’ll find hundreds of sand dollars- at least in July. This is our second time to the area. Sanibel Island is nice day trip - at just over 2 1/2 hours south, you can find shells like conch and scallop. Englewood has the best sharks teeth on the shoreline. Caddy’s was delicious for ocean front dining and fresh seafood. Crab cakes didn’t disappoint. Overall wonderful family vacation. The pristine white powder sugar beaches and sparkly torquoise water are perfection.

We had a great week at this condo on the beach. Our multigenerational family of 7 was in town this week for a baseball tournament and the condo was a great location and had plenty of room and everything we needed. The beach was beautiful, the pool areas were always clean and the front office team was friendly and super helpful anytime we had questions or needed anything. The only negative (not specific to the condo) was the complex does only have 1 elevator and it does get super bogged down at peak times. Most of us mainly used the stairs, but my parents who struggle with steps needed the elevator, so we just made sure to leave plenty of time when leaving so it wasn’t an issue. We would definitely stay here again!

This is the most beautiful place to stay. Everything was wonderful and exactly as stated. Everything you needed was provided except food. Wonderful condo right on the beach and very close to all activities and shopping. Hector is an amazing person and was always quick to answer any questions i had. Definitely going to stay here again. Thank you for your hospitality and kindness.

Our stay at the Sand Dollar was a family vacation and graduation celebration. We had our entire family including an infant. The 3 bedroom condo was spacious and had a number of amenities (the pier; pool, barbecue area; parking, beach supplies). We loved the area and would definitely consider coming back.

I'm not going to list the multiple things we discussed with the owner and the management about many obvious issues. We we were very unhappy with our stay.

The owners were easily reached and promptly return answers for our questions. The check in process was smooth. We arrived after 5 pm and the keys were where they told us. The condo looked like the pictures. It was clean and comfortable. It had every thing we needed. The facilities were easily accessible. The pool and hot tub were nice and warm. The beach access was amazing. The kids had so much fun. One of the reason we chose this place was the pier and the short walk to the bird sanctuary, it is a must. The location of the condo provided short walks and drives to fun activities. Overall, highly recommend this condo, you can tell this place is well loved and has created many lasting memories.

Everything for a fabulous vacation! Condo location is great. Loved having the pool as an option and totally loved being right on the beach.

The lay out of the condo was perfect for our family. It is nicely decorated and very clean. Our entire family loved the beautiful beach. Lots of nice restaurants around there. JD's restaurant, Broke and Bored and Sea Breeze Island Grill were some our favorites. It was a great vacation spot for all of us ages 2-60.

We enjoyed our week here! Hot tub, pool and beach volleyball were highlights for our kids. Beautiful beach and condo. Hector was excellent to communicate with, as was the property manager Holly. Thank you!

Pleasant accommodations. Overall good. Just a few little things that I feel certain property manager will address. Pictures of property are accurate. Beach location is great!!! Only disappointment was not being able to use hot tub as they were doing repairs to it. I would recommend this property and I am pretty picky..owner is responsive.

Had a wonderful time at this property. Had all the needed amenities and supplies to make this home for a week. Host was great at all steps along the way from booking all the way thru check out. Would book property again for sure.

Perfect condo for our family vacation. Loved the access to the pool and beach! The management and owner are terrific!

Resort staff is awesome at getting things resolved. Had some issues with things not working but they got right on top of them best they could. Definitely would rent from hector again.

Our experience was great with the exception of being evacuated by Hurricane Ian. Wished we had gotten to spend more time there.

Dishwasher didn’t work, took two days to get ice, dryer didn’t work and was finally fixed the day before we left, no ocean view, very loose headboards on all the beds ( one has water damage and is rotting)

Our experience was wonderful from the communication with Hector to the responsiveness of the staff at the Sand Dollar both JC Resorts and Hector provide a perfect vacation experience. The building is clean, the pool is clean, and the ocean is just a few steps away. The condo itself is fully stocked and beautiful, it met all of our needs and we will be booking again.

Great location, great property, close to many restaurants and local attractions. My family had a great time. The owner is very responsive, the property management was great getting us checked in. I would rent here again.

The office staff was fabulous! Check in was easy. The storage in this condo is amazing! I was a little disappointed with the overall cleanliness. There was mold on the master bath shower curtain and an old blood stain on one of the pillow cases. The case was clean just stained. I should have gone down and told the office but we had more than enough pillows so no biggie. The view is as described - to see the ocean you have to basically stand sideways due to a new building and you definitely have to stand to see the intercoastal waterway. We didn't mind though cause it was to hot to be out there:)

We had a great time at Indian Shores, and our property at the Sand Dollar. The ladies at the front desk were very helpful, and the condo was perfect. Planning on returning!

There were beach toys, chairs, and fishing poles to use which was a huge bonus since we flew and couldn't take those things with us. The location was perfect, tons of restaurants and attractions in a short distance. We will definitely be back!
