Se encuentra en una cala tranquila en el lago Gaston en casi 2 acres. El maestro de la planta principal tiene una cama king size número de sueño y baño completo con bañera y ducha. Hay tres dormitorios en el segundo piso con camas queen y 2 baños completos con bañeras. El quinto dormitorio está en el 3er piso donde tenemos un futón queen con una litera encima y un sofá cama doble con un nido doble. Tenemos un área abierta de estar / comedor / cocina que conduce a la sala de sol, que tiene excelentes vistas al lago. Una parrilla de gas grande está disponible para su uso. Tenemos una nueva sala de juegos con aire acondicionado con mesa de ping pong y tejo estilo pub. Tenemos un agujero de maíz para su disfrute y un fogón para esas noches frescas. Tenemos 3 kayaks y 1 canoa con remos y PFD para su uso. Tenemos varias balsas para todas las edades. Spectrum de alta velocidad de internet y TV están disponibles. Tenemos 4 televisores en el hogar. What a great place to enjoy time with our family. Having everything you and your family could need right there at your fingertips. Thank you so much Denise and Gary for hosting a very special time for me and my family. You have a wonderful home!

The grill was very dirty & the grease trap must have been full, so when we tried to heat the grill, it caught on fire. We had to use a extinguisher to put it out. The cleaning lady adamantly claimed that she had cleaned it earlier but the tray under the grates was very dirty. However, the writeup on the cottage DID state that the grill is not part of the normal cleaning service. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay.

We loved our stay! The house had plenty of room for our three families including three kids. The house had everything we needed and so many extras to make our stay so fun and special! We loved taking the kayaks and canoes out and enjoyed the games in the garage. We took the kids to the public beach where the water is shallow and they had so much fun! We would recommend this house without hesitation!

This is the second time we stayed at this property the first time in June 2021 and June 2023 and both times it was great. Our children are spread out all over the country being in the military, so it is really hard to get everyone together at the same time. The house is wonderful and very comfortable, feels like home as soon as you walk in. It is right on the lake on a very quiet back cove for fishing, swimming and tying the rental boat up. The back deck is very relaxing to be able enjoy the water view especially in the early morning and evenings. It has a fenced side yard with a swing set the for the little one's and a fire pit for roasting marshmallows for their smores. It has plenty of life jackets in all sizes plus a canoe and three kayak's to paddle around the cove. It has all the cooking equipment for any meal. We plan to come back as soon as we can. When we think of going to the lake house this is where we think of.

This house was cozy and private. The only “issue” was that our pontoon is large and docking was difficult with the other pontoon already there. The owners were quick to answer questions and accommodating. We will definitely use this property again!

The house was clean and very well equipped from kitchen items to toiletries and a welcoming basket of goodies. We enjoyed the 2 living room spaces. The outdoor deck accommodated 6 adults easily which was great because that's where we spent a lot of time. It was easy to communicate with the hosts.

This was our 3rd year and 3rd location at Lake Gaston celebrating our annual family vacation.Denise and Gary not only provided a comfortable and clean home but they also provided excellent communication throughout our booking process, pre arrival and departure. Everything was in working order, the kitchen was fully stocked with all appliances, plenty of dishes, pots and pans and utensils. The grill was used multiple times. We enjoyed the extra fridge and freezer as well. Both sitting areas with large screen TVs were an asset as well. The location was conveniently located near the public boat launch, as well the grocery store was within about a 10 minute drive. We look forward to the opportunity to return next year.

When we weren’t out on our boat, The three levels of bedrooms, the garage games, and the kayaks/canoe all gave us plenty to take advantage of to make for a delightful family vacation. As we were informed ahead of time, the pontoon boat occupies the boathouse. Once out we were able to find smooth water nearby for wakeboarding, skiing, and tubing. This made it easy to return to the dock for lunch, or equipment/ people change out or just to relax. The dock was great for this especially since the trees provided some very nice shade during the day. The house is very close to the water and has nice decks we used to eat and gather. We used the kitchen every night and were all able to eat together around the table! Very important to us. Overall I highly recommend Idle Zone for a fun family lake vacation! Communication with Denise was easy and timely. Kitchen is stocked with everything anyone could possibly need. House is very cozy, sunroom nice and big for our crew. Beds comfy, linens and towels, clean and soft. Highly recommend this house. ENJOYED our week for sure.

If you are looking to be on the water, but away from the craziness, this is an ideal getaway. Vacations for us are more about the "Who" and less about the "where." This quiet little cove provided exactly what our family needed. House was nice, and very clean. We definitely had plenty of room , yet the kitchen/family room combo provided a great place to laugh and bond. Neighbors were very friendly. Gary and Denise are top quality folks and every interaction was positive. Book with confidence

Great house!
We had a great week! Boating, tubing and jet skiing. The house is fully stocked with everything we needed. And a little extra now. I left my book and a Big frying pan. Oh well. Maybe next year I’ll go back and get it.

Just enjoyed a vacation here with my family and in-laws. The house was exceptional - impeccably clean with plenty of space and great amenities. Our kids enjoyed the floating dock, kayaks, and canoe, as well as using the dock to launch fishing excursions. The cove was very quiet but allowed easy access to the larger lake. Denise and Gary were very friendly and communicative - they made us feel truly at home. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway at Lake Gaston!

An excellent place for a family vacation!
Just enjoyed a vacation here with my family and in-laws. The house was exceptional - impeccably clean with plenty of space and great amenities. Our kids enjoyed the floating dock, kayaks, and canoe, as well as using the dock to launch fishing excursions. The cove was very quiet but allowed easy access to the larger lake. Denise and Gary were very friendly and communicative - they made us feel truly at home. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway at Lake Gaston!

We travel with two kiddos (5&7), parents and grandparents, and the house was very accommodating for all the family. I love love that the dining table was able to sit all 9 of us. Always something I look for in a house.

Nice quiet place to gather for fishing and such
Overall very good rental with plenty of room for a group of guys in the area to fish
One piece to note, all but one bedrooms are upstairs (stairs are very steep) so if you have older guests, keep that in mind. Would be nice if they put a hand rail on the front steps, my elderly dad struggled to get up the stairs.

Thanksgiving was amazing!
Denise and Gary were amazing hosts. The house was awesome with plenty of space to spread out. The kids room was super cute and plenty of room to run outside and play. Plenty of kitchen space to cook a full Thanksgiving dinner. The owners even left a Thanksgiving goodie tray. Highly recommend.

There was a boat dock for us to tie off our boat. This property is in a cove so water is calm and peaceful. There is a beach nearby but we never ezplored that option because we were out on the lake. It was a wonderful weekend with our family in a very comfortable home. Made some great memories.

Interior was very clean and well stocked. The kitchen was a little small when you have four women who want to be the head chef. Exterior stairs leading to dock need some repair but were useable. We had three people in their upper 80's who use hand rails so steps near hand rails are important. Overall it was a good place to stay and convenient to a boat ramp.
