The room, bathroom and facilities were all amazing. Location was spot on too.
Didn't overly care, but there was dust in a few spots and the toilet seat was a little loose. Nothing to complain about to be honest

I loved this place right from arrival when I was personally welcomed by the owner Paul. There are some really nice touches here, a little cuddly toy creature sitting on the bed, and some excellent tea from a local producer Chai Wallah of Margate (I ordered some for myself as soon as I got home).
My bed was extremely comfortable and I had an excellent night's sleep. The wi-fi worked well, which was important as I was visiting Margate for work.
In the morning I spent some time in the lovely, quirky little courtyard complete with a goldfish pond - would have stayed longer but I had a train to catch.
The location is great, only a few minutes' walk from the seafront and about ten from the station which is on the edge of town. There are some superb, friendly bars (Fez, the Xylo Brewery and the Two Halves) less than five minutes walk away as well as plenty of places to get food.
I will certainly stay here again next time I'm in Margate!
Frankly for a short stay like mine it was ideal - there's certainly nothing I'd complain about. I think if I were staying longer I'd have liked a chair in my room rather than sitting on the bed. The only other observation I'd make is that older or less healthy guests might find the steps up to the room heavy going.

The room and courtyard are aesthetically inspiring, and the attention to detail in the room is fantastic, I felt instantly at home. The location is perfect; very central, easy to come and go from, near the shops, cafés and bars, but still residential, so it's very peaceful. I'll definitely be returning.

Paul was a fantastic host friendly & approachable
Loved the little touches like the tea/coffee & rock! But the bed quilt & pillows made for a fantastic nights sleep, spotlessly clean room can definitely recommend

We stayed in the split-level mini apartment. It was beautifully put together and a really lovely, comfortable space. Lovely touches like local eco bath stuff & great tea selection! Paul was a brilliant host - very friendly and helpful. The location is superb.
The one thing we would have liked is a little more kit in the kitchenette (esp. chopping board, sharp knife, bottle opener, toaster).

The location was absolutely ideal. Everywhere we went in Margate was a 3-5 min walk from the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. Found free parking in trinity square which is close. Host Paul was helpful and nice.

Paul was a lovely host, really friendly and accommodating. The accommodation was clean and modern with everything you need for a cozy stay. The location is perfect and in the heart of Margate old town and very close to the beach and Turner gallery. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.

Only problem is that the lovely proprietor is not able to offer breakfast at the moment - but he was incredibly helpful and there were great coffee and cafes nearby.

Very organised and a great welcome from the owner Paul. Lovely clean room with great facilities including the various teas and coffee options. Wine glasses in the room are a thoughtful addition. Located right in the center.
Nothing to dislike, perfect accommodation. Parking option and costs could be clearer but minor detail.

Location was central so gave easy access to Margate itself. That was fantastic, it was great as a base to return to after a walk on the beach, visiting art galleries or bars. We looked forward to going back to the property as it was clean, warm, comfortable and welcoming. A real gem!
The compromise was the parking. There is parking directly outside the property but it has no affiliation to the property. It is £1.40 per hour. We found free parking 10 minutes walk away as kindly advised by Paul. We had no problems. It wasn’t too much of an inconvenience, it was just the nature of the beast.

Paul couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. The bed was the most comfortable I have slept on in a long time. It makes me dissatisfied with my bed at home! The location couldn't be better fot Turner gallery, old town, restaurants, harbour and beach. Lovely ambience creative, modern, bohemian. I will happily return.

Great host, very comfortable accommodation, in a quiet central location with easy access to everything you need ... what's not to like. We would definitely recommend, and we will definitely be back. Thank you so much Paul for a great stay.

Excellent location in the old town. Only a few minutes walk away from the sea front, Turner Contemporary and 10 minutes from Dreamland. Lots of restaurants nearby suit all tastes.
Beetroot is located in the Market Street car park which is 4 hour short stay. We found free on street parking a 10 minute walk away.
