Easily one of the best properties we’ve ever stayed at! The house itself was in the perfect location, it had more than enough room for the two of us, and was very clean. The property owners, Paul and Tara, were also very kind and so nice to deal with! It’s clear they want their guests to enjoy their stay :)

The hosts of this house are awesome. The house has everything you need and is very clean. We made several dinners and breakfasts here and had everything we needed. We did a lot of touring and this house was the perfect location for all of Killarney and surrounding areas. Don’t miss crag caves when you’re here.

We stayed at Tara & Paul’s house in Killarney in early September and it was truly as advertised. From the cleanliness of the house, to the well equipped kitchen and bathrooms to the hospitality offered by Paul & Tara. Everything was wonderful. We were given great recommendations and Paul & Tara even left a little welcome package for us in the kitchen. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Killarney. We recommend it highly with no reservations…

This home is located above Killarney national park and the views are amazing. The house is very nice , incredibly clean, and has everything you need . The hosts Tara and Paul are so nice and very helpful. This is hands down the best VRBO experience we have ever had. I would 100% recommend this home . Wish we could stay longer . We can’t wait to get back to Killarney!!

Tara and Paul were well prepared for our family visit! The added touches of a personal welcome sign, goodies/treat and basic kitchen items were so appreciated. The house was well appointed, extremely clean and easy to enjoy.

We (2 sisters and hubbies 65 yrs) came all the way from California and had a lovely stay at this beautiful picturesque home. Killarney is a great town and exploring from the house is easy, but we didn’t really want to leave it! 4 days was not enough. It was great to meet you and explore your tips and National Park recommendations. We want to return as soon as we can

We had a wonderful stay at this property situated above the town of Killarney with amazing views of Lough Leane below… this certainly was something special to wake up to, and a view I will never forget!
The house was as described with three bedrooms and two baths and worked very well for our family of 5. The living spaces have an open floor plan and are generous, light-filled, and comfortably furnished. The house was well built, very neat, clean, and well-appointed… everything seemed to be there, so we didn’t find ourselves needing anything.
We really enjoyed meeting hosts Tara & Paul, they were were very accommodating and knowledgeable of the area and provided some excellent travel tips. Looking forward to our next visit!

This was our favorite property during our trip to Ireland. The home was maculate, the views we stunning and Paul and Tara couldn’t have been more welcoming and great hosts. Our kids loved every second. We will 100% be back to Ireland and next time spending much of more of our time staying in this home. Thank Paul and Tara for a lovely visit.

Tara and Paul were such generous hosts. Their home was immaculate. The greeted us warmly and made us feel so at home. They gave us many suggestions on what to do in their area based on what our family was interested in. We wish we had more than 3 days in Killarney. We were so fortunate to find this beautiful home to rest our heads.

Our stay in Tara and Paul's home was absolutely PERFECT. They welcomed us with open arms, a spotless house, and a cache of much-needed supplies and goodies to give us an authentic taste of Ireland. My family of five, ranging in age from 12 to 71 years old, stayed there for 8 nights and it far exceeded our expectations. We felt at home when we walked in and saw our welcome sign and that was further cemented when Paul and Tara walked over to personally meet us and walk us through anything we may have needed. Our girls were competing in the World Irish Dance Competition in Killarney and Tara and Paul were just as excited as we were when our daughters did well on stage.
The view from our front step and large windows was spectacular, and I do believe I took a photo each and every day, as it is truly hard to put into words just how special the property is. The house was IMMACULATE and filled with everything we could have needed, and then some. The beds were comfy, the showers were hot, and the house was filled with so much love.
I can, with 100% certainty, vouch for this property and only hope that I can stay here again. Thank you, Paul and Tara, for making us feel at home, making us feel supported, and making our first trip to Worlds so very special.

We absolutely loved our stay in Killarney at Tara and Paul's home. They are incredibly warm and welcoming, and their home is lovely with an utterly stunning view of Killarney and the national park. It's clean, modern, spacious, and quiet. And it's just minutes from downtown Killarney. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Sincere thanks!

With nearly 180-degree views of Killarney town, the national park, mountains and Lough Leane, I can’t imagine finding a better vacation rental in Killarney. We stayed during the week of March 20, 2023. There’s a supermarket less than 5 minutes down the road (by car) and downtown Killarney is only 10 minutes. The house has everything you need. The beds were comfortable. The showers were hot. And the fire stove kept us warm during the rainy evenings. It was a great place to set off on daily adventures to Dingle or other destinations within an hour+ drive. I would recommend this home to anyone visiting Killarney, Ireland. Thank you, Paul and Tara.

The most enjoyable part of our stay was meeting Paul and Tara. Their house is by far the best of 4 places we rented for our month in Ireland. Easy access into Kilarney to shops restaurant and pubs. Great view of the lake and mountains from the picture windows in all three front rooms. All completely redone including a great kitchen. You can’t go wrong by staying as guest of Paul and Tara.

The most beautiful views and the house was so beautifully decorated. Tara and Paul were so welcoming and warm, just the kind of people anyone would be grateful to have as friends. I would definitely rent from them again!

The home sits on the hills overlooking the Lakes of Killarney and has an outstanding view looking down at the lakes. The owners, Tara and Paul O'Donoghue were outstanding hosts. I have been to Ireland many times and this is the best home I have ever stayed in, Harold Simmons

The house couldn’t be more welcoming with food, snacks, and a wonderful layout with views of the lake and mountains from the front rooms. The bedrooms and bathrooms were well appointed and the kitchen was beautiful and had everything we needed. I’ve already recommended this house to my friends and would stay again myself. Tara and Paul were lovely hosts and their hospitality really made our trip. They provided great lists of restaurants, pubs, and things to do which were extremely helpful and spot on. Spectacular, outstanding, incredible, none of these are adequate to describe this wonderful property and our amazing hosts! We've traveled quite extensively and never had an experience like this - we were asked what could be improved and every time we thought of something, we noticed it was already done. We were greeted by Tara & Paul and treated like long lost friends :) They strike the perfect balance of being friendly and available without bring intrusive - they had loads of recommendations (wish we could have done more!). Honestly, you cannot go wrong booking this place and whatever you choose to do you will have a wonderful time. The location is ideal for those who like a little quiet (with spectacular views) after a day of exploring. The couple before us stayed for over 60 days and my teenage son agreed we could do the same and not get bored! Hope to return someday : )

What an exceptional treat of a VRBO! Our family of five had a wonderful stay in Killarney at the vacation home of Paul and Tara. The house was immaculate and the view was surreal. One morning we woke up to cows right outside our bedroom window -- this coupled with the spectacular mountain and lake view was perfect. I wish that we had built more time into our Irish adventure to spend in Killarney. It's a beautiful place and the National Park, Ross Castle and Muckross House were just as expected. My adult kids appreciated a break from the hotels and we were able to pop into the SuperValue right down the road for some groceries, take a break from restaurant food, wash some clothes and relax on a comfy couch. Tara left us some staples and treats that were greatly appreciated. She also gave us great shopping and restaurant guidance. I felt like I hit a home run with the family as soon as we pulled into the drive -- thank you!

After traveling from Dublin, stopping in Kilkenny, where we experienced an unfortunate event which was out of our control, then arriving at Tara and Paul’s house at midnight, we felt we found a “Pot of Gold” at the end of the rainbow! There was an adorable sign to welcome us and all sorts of delicious snacks. The house is immaculate and very sound proof. We traveled with another couple and the 2 bedrooms with private baths provided wonderful privacy. The view from the front of the house is amazing, just like the pictures on VRBO. The house is a very short drive to a grocery store and downtown Killarney. I would highly recommend staying at Tara and Paul’s beautiful home, they were perfect hosts. We miss it already!
