Location great with a fabulous outlook over the ocean. Nice pool area. Staff very accomodating with late checkout arrangements. Price quite reasonable.
Service in restaurant ok but food not great. New hotel but felt a little bare and tired in parts. This comment relates to both common areas and room.

For people who stay longer - a week or more - breakfast options (only 4: 2 European and 2 Lankan) is not enough :) but still it’s a very good variety!

The staff are very lovely and helpful
The views and the rooftop pool are phenomenal ,
And the manager was very accommodating as we had it leave very early in the morning for our flight and they packed us a breakfast box which was very thoughtful.
I wish we could have stayed a couple more nights!
The walls in our room were paper thin! I could hear the man snoring in the next room & when I would go to plug something in and out of the wall, it moved!
Sound proofing definitely should be improved - any noise / music from the lobby upstairs would sound like it was in our room.

Hotel Manager Ranjith went above and beyond in helping me during my trip. I had an issue where I thought I lost my scooter in the middle of the night. Ranjith and his team came to my rescue, they were very kind and comforting the whole time. The service was outstanding and is the biggest reason for the 10 rating.
Hotel is rather secluded. Take in one of the best views of Galle Fort and the Bay. Enjoy the sunset from the rooftop bar, deck chairs, and infinity pool.
Room was excellent: clean, spacious, and modern. Hey, what do you scent all the towels with? They smell amazing.
Guests should be aware that the hotel is not in walking distance to anything, except perhaps jungle beach. I highly recommend that you rent a scooter as so many travelers here do.
As a suggestion, I think the hotel should offer to arrange transfers from the train/bus station to the hotel.

We had great stay in Agnus! It's located on the hill and has mesmerizing view on the sea, Peace Pagoda temple and Galle Fort. Staff was super friendly and helpful! It was pleasure to have delicious breakfast on the balcony, while watching monkeys over the garden. Room was huge and clean with great room service.

Everything was great - the views were amazing, particularly of Galle in stats distance. And there aren't many rooms there, so for a fairly big hotel, it's not crowded, which was nice! The dinner was also very good. I went for the schnitzel and it was surprisingly amazing! 5 min tuktuk drive to main strip of Unawatuna, which is nice as you're away from it all, and very quiet. Would stay here again!
Service at dinner needs to be quicker. Waited 10 - 15 minutes for water when only two couples were at restaurant.

We had booked a partial seaview but were given a complimentary upgrade upon check-in. The staff were very friendly, food was good, rooms were clean and the views were fabulous! Sandaka and Rashmi were helpful and professional. Interior design of the hotel is tastefully done and the bar on the rooftop with the infinity pool has a nice ambiance to compliment the sweeping views of Rumassala. The architecture and exterior of the building also blend into the natural surroundings avoiding being an eyesore unlike many other places today.
Highly recommended stay in Rumassala.

Amazing stay, managment and staff made all in their hands in order to acomodate us, they even let us have a spare room to shower after a checkout the they we left.
They also gave us an upgrade to ocean view room with a wonderful views of the Galle bay and the amezing sunset
The food in the restaurant is great!
I would repeat without hesitate!
Bare in mind that the hotel is quite far from anything (Unawatuna or Galle), there's not even restaurants or bars arround within walking distance.
A car, a tuk tuk or a rental mopped it's always necessary!

Our room had an amazing view to the sea, Galle and the jungle beach. It was very clean and spacious and the bathroom was also very convenient. The pool was also very enjoyable and the variety of the food and snacks offered in reasonable prices.
The breakfast could have been better in terms of taste and variety.

Best views of Sri Lanka’s southern coast and rooftop infinity pool is nice, but a little small. Overall, if you’re looking for amazing sunset views and a quiet place to relax with friendly staff, then Agnus is the best choice in Galle/Unawatuna.

Everything. The rooms were exceptionally clean, and we even got a free upgrade which ment we had a stunning view. The food alone is a reason to stay, it was delicious.
Id highly recommend this hotel to anyone.
