Absolutely stunning location
A beautiful spacious villa with the most gorgeous view. Perfect for a relaxing holiday and admiring the stunning sunset over the lagoon every night. A few beach bars just minutes away, 15 minute walk to the supermarket and jet ski hire a 30 minute walk away.
Very helpful communication with Teresa, Magdalena and Gemma.
It was tricky to find as there are no street names, taxis struggled to locate the villa on arrival and departure to the airport but help was at hand from Teresa and team.
Definitely recommend this La Manga gem x

The week end was amazing despite we had a rainy day... The house is just perfect for a family and friends stays, between the pool, the terrasse overlooking the sea and the barbecue corner, you could spend days without leaving the house just enjoying life.
Definitely a great place to spend with friends. House is clean, you'll find all you need. Highly recommended, thanks to Magdalena for her flexibility and advices. Hope to come back soon

Excelente alojamiento. Gracias!!

Great Family Holiday from Canada
Great property. Nice quiet location (you'll need a car). Lots of interesting towns to visit nearby. Only thing we missed was a heated pool. But the location on the beach is fantastic.

Inolvidable
Inolvidable.

Amazing one of a kind house
Amazing house, I don't think you can find anything like this somewere else. Located on the beach near restaurants and supermarket. We had some problems with contacting the person who took care of the house but other than that we have nothing to complain. I would love to come back.

El Viveros is a very comfortable villa in an amazing place
The villa was very well equipped, even the outside kitchen. There were numerous places to sit in the garden and our favourite patio was beside the lagoon where we had numerous conversations with people passing. There were lots of activities to watch on the lagoon , sail boats, motor boats, jet skis and of course the fishermen every morning. In the sky there were para gliders and jets practising aerial displays. The local schools were finishing for the summer so there were many groups trying all different types of water sports. Outside the villa was a stone jetty which was very popular with professional photographers, we saw five different brides trying to catch that photo with the setting sun and one young boy in his first holy communion outfit. There were beautiful walks around the lagoon and only a fifteen minute walk to stroll along the beach by the Mediterranean sea. There were three popular restaurants a short walk along the beach where you could dine while watching the setting sun. The beach bar seen from the villa was well worth a visit and during our stay is was the fiesta of San Juan. The beach bar had a DJ playing music and all around the lagoon were bonfires with fireworks displays. It was a very enjoyable holiday

Fantastic Villa
The villa was so much more than we could have ever asked for!!!
All facilities were well maintained and clean. We found the property spacious with loads of different seating areas to capture the sun.
The pool was sparkling and adequate in size. We loved the bbq and outside dinning area - the outside kitchen was really convenient and a well thought out added extra to the Villa.
All the rooms were well equipped and spacious - the on-suite bathrooms fitted with modern fittings (great 2 head showers)
The main kitchen had everything we needed and was well stocked with plates/ glasses /pots & pans etc.
The living room was really comfortable with loads of space for the 9 of us. The small bar on the beach to the left was convenient and very friendly - we were well looked after with snacks with every round of drinks we bought. The restaurant on the right was unbelievable!!!!
The best steak I have ever had for 35 euro's. The Villa is well situated with stunning views day and night.
Magdalena - was very friendly, and helpful and kept the Villa spotless.
The communication from Teresa was instant and she was such a pleasure to deal with on email and over the phone.
We will be back 100% - What an amazing 3 days - Thank you!

Mejorable

Perfect place in a pefect location.
2 parents 2 grandparents and 5 children. We stayed for two weeks and we could of stayed for two more. The property is clean and very well maintained to a high standard the location is perfect, very quiet and chilled but also near to shops and restaurants for when we fancied eating out, great restaurant 1 min walk from the villa along the beach, aslo near the villa is a small fishing town of Cabo de Palos there we found great restaurants, and a great local market on sunday mornings full of gems at great prices!
Magdalena was then when we arrived and provided excellent service the whole stay, we also brought fresh fish (sea bass) great treat to grill, from the local fisherman who's boat is kept just outside the garden gate.
As well as spending many days just relaxing at the villa we also visited many beaches in the Playa de Calblanque area (great waves) a short drive away!
We will be coming back for sure.

Finding this property proved difficult as there are no street names or house numbers in this neighborhood. Should have printed directions from the website. Magadelena was waiting for us with a delicious supper full of Spanish flavors. She was a godsend all ten days we spent there with instructions and suggestions and little culinary surprises.
Four bedrooms, with ensuite bathrooms, dining room, living room, seaside patio, covered patio with bar-b-q, swimming pool for those hot afternoons, a cabana with kitchen, fridge, sink and washing machine, deck lounge.....open the gate off the seaside patio and step on the sandy shore of the Mar Menor. Fishing boats moored just offshore. A three minute walk on the beach brings you to El Parador, a luxury restaurant on the beach with stunning views of sunsets.
All in all, a wonderful experience in an area full of friendly people. Definitely the highlight of our Spain/France trip.

VACACIONES PERFECTAS

Just spent a fantastic week here. Party included 5 month old baby. 4 year old. Couple of young parents and then the grandparents. Everything you could ever imagine you would need is provided in the villa. And then some. We have never stayed in and chilled on a holiday before. We have done villas. But none have Resulted in feeling relaxed and chilled as much as this. It is fairly isolated. The beach bar 100yds along the beach was welcoming. They even brought in a Tv for the England match. Food here is ok. Staff were brilliant. The much reviewed el parador is a short stroll away which has a lovely view and I'll leave it at that. Magdalena was brilliant. She is so friendly. She even made us some home made chocolate donuts mid week. She can't speak English and we can't speak Spanish but with some assistance from her friend and translator they even ordered us a take away on the night of our arrival as we had all been up since 2am and had no energy left to contemplate cooking or going out. Children loved it too. Steady flow of people passing by that Appeared naked and covered in mud to our amusement. We struggled getting cable on the tv but a phone call to Magdalena resulted in the cable guy turning up before the next match. There is nothing I can say that is negative. This is by far one of the best holidays I have had and is definitely the only holiday that I have had that I have returned home rested and ready to return to work. I will definitely come back. Weather was hot hot hot so the baby struggled with the heat but the air conditioning cooled him down.

Fantastic Villa
Magical memories of a brilliant time at one of the best villas and location we've stayed at. Space was a luxury as there were just 4 of us using the villa but there would have been plenty of room if we'd brought our collective families. Booking was professionaly handled by Teresa and on arrival we were greeted by the wonderful Magdalena who when asked about the location of the nearest supermarket jumped in the car with us to show us the way (Magdalena was unfortunately in hospital on our departire so hopefully now ok?) We can't fault anything about the villa and will certainly be back.

Such a fantastic property in an accessible location. I work a lot of hours and was in need of a break away and time to relax with family and friends. The property and team that look after it, did not disappoint. The house is directly on the beach and the views directly out are breathtaking. It sits in between two slightly more built up resorts (look left and right and you can see the large hotels and apartments) these are also within walking distance so if you feel like a walk with a well earned beer at the end you will get this. Travelling in October we found this whole area quite quiet, which suited us down to the ground as it meant our days by the pool were uninterrupted by any noise.
We went out for a couple of days trips - Cartagena is well worth a visit - the old city is largely propped up by scaffolding but full of character and the marina is a lovely place to stop for a drink.
On the two evenings we ventured out we went to Cabo de Palos - taxi cost us around 15 euro - very pretty fishing village with a good selection of bars and restaurants by the sea. Lots of fresh seafood and fish to be had.
I cannot recommend this property enough, if you are looking for a quiet break away make sure you aim for later in the season, weather is still great (mostly high 20s the whole of our stay) but without the crowds.
Many thanks to Teresa, Magdalena and the team - we will be back!

It is idylic. The owners and nature have come together to create a mini paradise, which is a total joy to be in. Some of the less positive comments about the layout of the indoor kitchen, the size of the smallest double, the accuracy of the photos and the possibility of smells from the salt flats have some validity but the negatives are so outweighed by the positives we chose to ignore them.
We were spoilt as we were only 4 single adults each with our own space but we felt that 8 adults could be comfortably accommodated in the garden and dining areas inside and out even if preparing meals for 8 inside would be a challenge. We used the fire outside most of the time and found the outside kitchen more user friendly than the inside one. It would be helpful if there were a dish washer in the outside kitchen to relieve the need to carry all the crockery etc into the house, and as there are two washing machines in there it may be easy to arrange.
The house is stacked with equipment and lovely furnishings and is beautifully designed but it is how it comes together with the light and the breeze and the sunset and the twinkling lights round the Mar Menor which make it so attractive.
We bought some fly swatters / spray as they are enough to drive you mad in September, but this is a common issue, not associated with the house which was spotlessly clean and well maintained.
Madalena, the lady who met us at the house and does the cleaning was really helpful and sweet - she doesn't speak English (the owner had arranged a translator who we didn't need as we speak enough spanish) but called Teresa when she learned that we had late flights and arranged for us to be able to stay in the house until the evening on the day of our departure. She also brought us some lovely rolls!
We will go back, probably at the same time of year as the area in general and the actual location was almost deserted which certainly helped to make the whole experience relaxing and beautiful. There is always something to watch as the view changes throught out the day. We hardly left the place. It's probably easier to have a car even if you only intend to go to the supermarket for supplies as it would be a long walk.
Thanks for a great holiday.

Wonderful house and garden with great views

Amazing property
We spent an amazing two weeks in this villa, ten people in total with plenty of room to socialise together or have quiet time apart. The villa is as stunning as it is in the pictures, all the people were very helpful during organising the trip and also during our stay. It is simply stunning in every way.
It is surrounded by great places to eat, a good selection of supermarkets and shops. The beach is clean and safe and the water was great. This simply can't be beaten, it was a privilege to have stayed in such a stunning Villa.

Stunning Sunsets from the patio.
Overall this is a nice house in a great location, but first the negatives: The rooms (and pool) aren't quite as large as the photographs would have you believe, and 10 would be a squeeze (one of the doubles is 3/4 size, the raised bunk isn't a proper double either - you could stick a couple of kids up there, but not two adults).
There is an area nearby which stinks if the sun is up and the wind is blowing toward the house, I suppose it's just the consequence of this being an active fishing location, but it can be quite unpleasant.
The kitchen design is... novel. It's fine for one person cooking, but the layout is just weird for any more than that.
Final point: We were either unlucky or uninformed by the owner about the building work going on next door. One hopes not to be woken at 7am by heavy machinery and boulders being thrown in skips while on a "relaxing" holiday.
Right, moans done, there is a lot going for this place too!
The layout of sunbeds and seating across the propery is wonderful. There are a couple of beds on the gravel for the early morning sun, then the whole property benefits from the sun most of the day - but with sufficient shades should you need a respite. The air conditioning inside was more than sufficient for the 20-25 degrees we had last week.
The patio area at the front was perfect, the view spectacular, those sunsets will stay with me for some time. All the furniture is of a decent standard, and the cushions etc comfortable.
The BBQ area is a lovely big table (again, more comfortable for 8 than 10), the grill's great, the outdoor kitchen proved useful a couple of times (although that was mostly a drinks fridge for us... which probably says more about us than it should (there was water too!).
The beds are fine, decent sheets, comfy matresses, but if you like a feather pillow bring your own because these are rubbery stiff horrible things (I know it's personal taste, but I found them very uncomfortable).
The area itself is nice, the lagoon lovely, and perfect for kids as you have to go quite a long way before it gets deep, La Manga Strip is nearby, a very heavily developed strip, but the beach on the Med is well maintained, deep sand and all very nice.
It's worth noting that this was the end of May. I imagine it would be a very different experience peak season if all those hotels/apartments fill up.
Finally, local amenities: The Eurospar nearby is fine for food, for wine find the Bodega in El Agar (trust me).
