One of the few places with easy beach access in Tobago without crossing a road but also having great views from the property and sunsets to die for. A definite place to return to for future holidays

Clean, amazing view and really stunning location - steps from the beach!. Liz was fantastic and the place was spotless. One recommendation is a new bbq because that was a bit dated but Liz suggested this would be done. Really nice spot for a week long stay, or even less.

The pictures on the website are a true reflection of the apartment. The apartment was spotlessly clean and very well maintained and the location is ideal, just far enough to be tranquil but close enough to everything we wanted to do. We had a fantastic time and most certainly would stay there again. Liz was excellent and very accommodating and the staff were very friendly.

Everything about our stay at Chaconia was exceptional. Liz, the property manager, was a tremendous help from the very first stage of the booking process. She helped with transport from the airport, arranging a rental car, and was there to greet us promptly on our arrival despite our early flight time (6:30AM)! We had stayed at this property 9 years ago, and we were very impressed with how well everything has been maintained in pristine condition despite the passage of time. Everything in the unit was clean and functional. The kitchen is extremely well stocked and equipped with all appliances, dishware, cooking utensils, etc. The covered porch overlooking the gardens and the beach is perfect for relaxing afternoons, and the close proximity to the beach is wonderful. We had our 86 yr-old mother with us, and we especially appreciated the easy access to/from the unit - from the front drop-off area it is only a couple of very small easy steps to walk right into the unit, and our Mom had no issues whatsoever. We would highly recommend Chaconia to anyone looking for a quiet, luxurious villa stay on a gorgeous, quiet Tobago beach! We certainly hope to be back - and hope it will not be nine years lapse this time!!

It is within walking distance of two restaurants that are both very good (opinion from a New Orleans native). Black Rock is about 18-24 minute easy drive from the airport. It gets dark and quiet early. No real night club scene but the restaurant bars were just fine for us. The property manager, Liz, is great to work with and very communicative and involved in making sure you are comfortable and satisfied. The grocery store is about a 10 min drive away. Bring your best parking skills. The gated parking garage is tight.

We spent a week at Chaconia. The spacy appartement is directly located at a wonderful beach (very clean, swimming, snorkeling, talking to fishermen, birds (albatros)). Just after our arriving we saw small turtles running out of their nest to the ocean. Liz was a great manager. She answered quickly if we had a quetsion. We appreciated her service filling the fridge before our arrival. We also visited the restaurants she recommended (either orally or in her short guide), which made our stay there easy and in good memory. She also offered another appartment for the time we had to wait for our flight. In summary we very much enjoyed our stay at Chaconia and missing so many things now while we spent the rest of our holidays in Barbados.

My family and I recently stayed at the Chaconia suite. We had a fabulous time. The villa was impeccably clean, spacious and is modernly outfitted. The ocean views and sunset from our balcony was absolutely breath-taking. Access to the beach are a mere footpath away and we could sit and watch the kids in the pool while enjoying the ocean sounds. Access to restaurants and mini marts are within walking distance. Our stay was a fabulous one. We cannot wait to visit again. Thank you to Liz, our villa manager for making our stay at Chaconia a very memorable and comfortable one.

The hummingbirds were active off the terrace along with the largest pigeon we’ve ever seen. We snorkeled every day and saw 3 eels our last day along with the gorgeous fish. Our girls collected a huge stash of sand dollars too in the ocean. We hope to come back before we move from the Caribbean. Thanks again for a relaxing place to stay.

This property is extremely well situated and presented. Beautiful furnishing and well stocked, with the property Manager, Liz, only a call away for any questions. Lenore, the wonderful housekeeper is also a joy. We were all friends from work and mostly ate in each evening - the kitchen is very well supplied and had all the utensils we needed. The location of the apartment was ideal - short drive to supermarkets and restaurants, a pool for those that wanted to lay out and the beach on the end of the garden for walks and se swimming. The day after we left Tobago, I booked my return trip for next year - cant wait.

Chaconia suite was wonderful. The location was just perfect. It was quiet but within 15 minutes of everything. The beach out front was incredible. Liz was so helpful with everything. She checked on us and were just a phone call away if we needed anything. I can’t say enough how great staying in Chaconia was. We loved it all in Tobago. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. One of our favorite restaurant was La Tartaruga in Bucco. Garbiele makes fresh pasta every day. We can’t wait until we can return to this out of way gem.

Liz and her team are great!! The condo was immaculate, updated and had everything we need and more. The housekeeper was very attentive and very helpful with just general details of the island and where to get things. We are going back for sure !!!

Let me start by saying that this is our third vacation in Tobago, and having stayed at Chaconia all three times, we can't imagine staying anywhere else. The location, pool, beach and amenities are second to none. The owner, manager, and housekeeper are easy to deal with, and truly care that you are happy with the property and your vacation. It has been two years since we have been there, and the upgrades that have been made are greatly appreciated. The new kitchen sinks, counters and the cooktop were a pleasant surprise, they look and perform great! New items have been added to the already perfectly appointed kitchen, you can even cook your own pizza with the non-stick pizza pan. This is the only rental unit that we have stayed at that provides your hand soap in all three bathrooms, and kitchen, as well as beach and bathroom towels, dish soap, paper towels, garbage bags, and laundry soap so that you can pack lighter for your trip. Lenore leaves tea, spices, salt and pepper, etc so that you don't have to buy/bring every little thing. The new mattress on the master bed is perfect to dream your night away listening to the waves. All of the outdoor spiral staircases at Black Rock Dreams have been replaced, with both safety and style in mind. Judi checked us in, and Lenore kept everything spotless during our 2 week stay. Liz texted and stopped in to make sure we were happy from time to time. Chaconia is one of those places that you will search for but never find anywhere else. We are looking forward to 2021 and our next visit to Chaconia.

I think Chaconia offers the best quality accommodation on the Island.Having been fortunate to have traveled to Tobago over the past thirty years I had not experienced such luxurious accommodation before. Highlights for us are the very well maintained private grounds with swimming pool.There is an amazing view of Grafton beach at all times of the day.A silver shimmer descends upon dusk, lemon and orange sunsets, a pink and purple haze at night fall. Chaconia is just seconds away from the beach we could not have been more spoilt. We had read online that Chaconia is very spacious and well stocked with household items and decorated to a high standard.We were delighted to find things exactly as the reviews suggested, better even. The large en suite bathroom with jacuzzi was much appreciated after a long flight. Having a Christmas tree too was a very nice personable touch as we were away for all of December. We had the accommodation block of 'Black Rock Dreams' where Chaconia is suited mostly to ourselves for our entire stay. This felt very indulgent! The caretaker Chris and family were very helpful and it was nice to know someone else was there should we need any assistance.The accommodation is very secure and we felt relaxed immediately upon our arrival. I've become a bit of a "Twitcher" since our stay as the birds are all around the apartment, in the trees and on the balcony awaiting a fruit snack or "sugar water". We had regular Hummingbirds, Bananaquit 'Sugar birds', Mockingbirds, Blue- Gray Tanagers, Palm Tanagers to name but a few.I loved listening to them chirping away in the morning whilst we ate breakfast (attempting to identify them with a book I found in the apartment) and all against the back drop of aquamarine rolling sea. My eight year old was particularly impressed with the speed of the internet which is apparently as good as it gets.Liz and Lenore are both very personable and nothing appears too much trouble for them to ensure we had a very comfortable stay.Thank you to both of them. I would definitely recommend Chaconia. It’s a lovely apartment, large and comfortable with all mod cons. The inside is modern and fitted with high specification items and then outside is a lovely large terrace to watch the Caribbean sun set. The apartment is right next to the beach and within easy reach of a beachside bar and a couple of restaurants. The apartment is also set within well kept gardens and shared pool.

We enjoyed our stay at the condo. Our entire family had a great time and the condo was supplied with all we needed. The only additional item I would suggest is washcloths in the restrooms for showering/bathing. We snorkeled out to the right of the condo by the black rocks and saw loads of colorful fish. A leatherback turtle even came ashore during the afternoon to lay her eggs. We walked to the restaurants right by the condo for dinners. Mornings were spent lounging and strolling along the beach front. Highly recommend a visit to this hidden gem!

We just spent a relaxing 2 weeks at Black Rock Beach. The Chaconia condo is very well kept (thanks Lenore) and well equipped. The views from the huge veranda are beautiful during the day, followed by gorgeous sunsets at night. The beach is very quiet and perfect for walking and playing in the waves. The location is handy to all amenities and within walking distance of several restaurants. Liz the property manager was very helpful and answered our many questions (thanks Liz). This is a place we would definitely return to and we highly recommend it.

If you want beach parasols and at sun bed drink service with loads of others this is not the place for you! Chaconia is a wonderful escape, well appointed, excellently managed, and walking distance to a fabulous restaurant. You may get disturbed by the fruit bats sweeping over the balcony or the noise of the waves crashing on the beach at the end of the garden, but not a lot else will disturb you. It’s peace and tranquillity. A fabulous place to stay

Location is lovely. Quiet beach, while also easy to drive to all amenities and island highlights and key sites. The property itself is very well kept and equipped with all you need to call home for your stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Chaconia. The condo is on one side of the complex so its large balcony (with direct access to the beach) has the most privacy and like all the others, a fantastic view. The condo was clean, secure and well equipped. We could not have asked for more for our Xmas holiday... even a tree had been set up before our arrival!! Thanks Liz for making our stay so easy and trouble-free.
