A fantastic place that came as advertised! A beautiful location with beautiful views, a perfect place to relax and catch up with friends. There was nothing for us to do as the owners had the home turn key ready to enjoy our time in Vermont! Owners Mike and Karen thought of everything for their guests, were easy to communicate with answering any questions via text and email in a timely fashion! Thanks for an amazing experience and stay!

Great location. Great house. Great owners. One drawback was no air conditioning, but who would have thought that would matter in Vermont? We had a heat wave, though, with daytime temps in the 90's so AC would have been nice. Other than that, though, really great stay.

Location is secluded yet close to everything. House is comfortable and the bedrooms are spacious. Outside living space and amenities are really great, not to mention the views. Property owners were communicative and very helpful.

Comfortable / Well Appointed
Clean, comfortable, and well stocked home a few minutes outside of Manchester, VT. The beds were all very comfortable and the kitchen was well appointed. The three bathrooms made our family's stay very easy.
View out the back deck of the Battenkill River and surrounding mountains was gorgeous, though since we there in February we were not able to use the spacious deck.
Access to garage for cars was exceedingly nice since there was some snowfall during our visit.
All in all, a great home that we would gladly visit again.

We had a wonderful stay. The house was a good size for a family of 8. The kitchen was a good size and opened to the den/family room and looked down on the living room. We went up to ski a couple days and the location was positioned nicely right next to Bromley and a quick drive to Stratton. Wish we could have stayed longer!

This house is a stunner as it has all the room for a large group... from all the bedrooms to the oversized family room to the quaint dining rooms. It's also one of the most stocked kitchens if you ever forget an item. The best part of this home is its spectacular view of the mountains and horse farm outside the deck. This house was very spacious with lots of comfortable places to hang out- we loved the deck, hammock, fireplace and comfy furniture. The bathrooms could use some updating- can’t stand straight in the master bath shower and toilets were an issue. Also wish there were more blankets and such available as it was very cool at night. Kitchen had nice appliances but needs more utensils/bowls- we ran the dishwasher frequently. Overall a nice stay and easy communication with owner. Thank you!

This is a large, lovely home in a very scenic location in a town which offers amazing views, good eats, cultural options, shopping and history. We enjoyed it all and the house was spacious enough to accommodate us comfortably. Eight of us fit around the dining table or on the deck. Gang of Eight: a reunion of four couples
This is a large, lovely home in a very scenic location in a town which offers amazing views, good eats, cultural options, shopping and history. We enjoyed it all and the house was spacious enough to accommodate us comfortably. Eight of us fit around the dining table or on the deck. The host was always prompt in responding to inquiries and alerted us on one potential issue which had been resolved. The kitchen is well stocked. We would happily return to this rental. Thanks!

4 of us stayed at this big, comfortable, well-equipped house. We loved the deck, playing Mah Jongg out there morning and evening. The view was beautiful. We were there during the heat wave, so we moved to the covered porch on the other side of the house when the afternoon sun was too much. We found plenty to do in the area -- we hiked, we swam in Dorset Quarry (a highlight!), we dined in the cute downtown, and we wandered around the sculpture garden and galleries of the Southern Vermont Art Center. Thanks, Michael for a great stay!

Peaceful, clean, above expectations.
A great place to spend quality time with friends and family.
We are 4 adult couples ( friends) who’s traveling constantly together and for the first time we all agree that Mike’s property was the best of the best without braking the bank.
Clean , quiet, well furnished and close to everything,
If you’re really looking for a worrY free rental property, just walk in this place .
Mike , the owner is a sweet and extremely responsive gentleman, who will support you in a matter of minutes , efficiently with no drama .
We unanimously have decided to come back.

Coming home to Vermont
This house and location were perfect for us. The house was lovely and very much as depicted online; filled with light and with great views. Plenty of space and a nice layout. We brought more than we needed for kitchen-the house has just about everything we needed already. Hosts were attentive and quick to respond to any questions/requests, but not at all intrusive even though they were living on the premises. We have already discussed returning!

Perfect foliage location
We spent a few days here during the peak foliage season. The views from the bedroom and deck were insane, with the colors sweeping across the mountain. The house is also located near a few amazing fall hikes such as Bromley Mountain and Lye Brook Falls.
The owners live on the property and stayed in the basement (separate entrance) when we were there. They are really nice and had many helpful suggestions about things to do in the area. The house was also very clean, well stocked, and meticulously maintained.

We had a great time at this house. The kids and adults all enjoyed it. We had thought we might have a bit better access to the river, but otherwise, things worked out very well.

Fabulous Mountain House!
We enjoyed another stay at this house and yet again, absolutely amazing! The house is very well appointed and so cozy! The owners are incredibly responsive and courteous. Cannot rave enough about this gem! Highly recommend staying here!

Comfortable stay with nice views!
The house was very nice and comfortable with a terrific view of the nearby horse farm. We enjoyed watching the horses run & play in the nearby fields. We came for a long weekend of skiing however the rain/freezing rain kept us off the mountain. The house was less than 10 minutes to Bromley Mountain yet close to Manchester where we visited for lunch shopping and a visit to Hildene House as our plan B! The house had plenty of space for 4 couples, we enjoyed dinners in the dining room and playing games around the fire while also admiring the views. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you Michael, you and Karen were very responsive & accommodating.

Manchester Getaway
We had a lovely time in Manchester! We were visiting for a wedding and Michael’s location was close to town but also very quiet so we were able to enjoy to scenery and relax! We enjoyed our stay!

Visual Beauty all around
If this property comes up in your search - search no more!! This stunning property is even prettier in person. There were 7 of us in our reservation and ALL were comfortably accommodated. The property boasts amazing mountain views, full scale amenities that the owner's graciously allow and is just an overall excellent home. The location is serene, yet easily accessible to ALL surrounding amenities in this area. Reserving this property was easy, communicating with the owner was outstanding and we would certainly seek this home for a future stay in this area.

Amazing place with beautiful views
Extremely clean and well maintained place ! The owner was Mike was nice always available to help answer any open questions. All bedrooms had king/queen beds making the place suitable for 3 couples ! The fire pitt was a delight !

Fantastic Ski Getaway!
Just returned from a fabulous trip staying at this house. The location is perfect, picturesque views, feels remote, yet only minutes away from the town of Manchester and the ski hills. The owners were very accomodating and incredibly easy to reach and helpful. The beds were so comfortable, as was the overall feel of the house--very relaxing. All of the amenities that could be wanted were found with ease--absolutely perfect place to stay! We enjoyed our visit so much we already booked our next trip to stay there! Highly recommend this gem!
