Perfect cozy cabin in a quiet neighborhood with close by restaurants. The firepit under the gazebo was perfect in the evening. The owners go above and beyond to make sure you’re comfortable. Highly recommend staying here.

Owners of property were exceptional! The Space they provided was perfect for the day we came into town for a wedding. They did a really good job making the place feel like home. The owners reached out and gave me a run down of all the best food in the area and let me know of some other places worth visiting and were just the best hosts! Again, we could not have asked for anything better and can’t thank them enough for providing us the space!

The accommodations were excellent and only a short drive from JMU where we were dropping off our daughter. I cannot say enough to express how wonderful and accommodating Ron was both prior and during our stay. He checked in to make sure we were well and gave us great recommendations on restaurants , breweries and wineries near by. We plan on returning to visit those we didn’t have time to visit!

Perfect little apartment to provide our home base for exploring Shenandoah National Park, Harrisonburg, and the Grottoes area. Ron and Debbie were cordial hosts with plenty of insights and suggestions. A very pleasant experience. We hope to return in the Fall.

For a full week we road our bikes on gorgeous Bike Virginia routes out of Staunton and Harrisonburg and then came home to this wonderful 2nd story apartment to cook, enjoy a celebratory drink on the balcony porch, listen to birds in what seemed like an aviary, and fall into a restorative sleep on a very comfortable bed. What a lovely place and hosts. Even after a full week, we were sad to leave. It felt like home.

We had an amazing stay. I enjoyed the balcony and how sweet and inviting the owners were. Ron was excellent in letting us know where to go and Debbie was so sweet in cooking us a little treat and making sure we had coffee and everything else we needed. If ever I find myself in Virginia again I will come back. Thank you for a beautiful stay Rob and Debbie!

My husband and I stayed here after camping in Shenandoah. It was a great space and our hosts were just fantastic! We would 100% stay here again! The space is bigger than it looks in the pictures and is a separate building from the main house. The outdoor areas were really great as well!

This might be hyperbole, but Grottoes felt like an American Brigadoon rising out of farmland of the Shenandoah Valley. Ron & Debbie are proactive in terms of communication, and the place itself is a lovely aerie overlooking a well-landscaped garden. Locally roasted coffee and, at least for me, a surprise morning pastry complimented the tidy and well thought out loft.

This hidden gem was the perfect place to stay for me and my fiancé. Ron and Debbie were excellent hosts providing reccomendations, a nice little sample of some tasty locally made coffee, delicious hommade treats from Debbie, and Ron even set up their outdoor fireplace with wood and everything! All we had to do was sit down, light the fire and enjoy our evening. I would highly recommend this perfect little spot for anyone traveling through the area. Also, the caverns that are right up the road are an awesome sight to see, and the place is surrounded by good eats. Thanks for everything Ron and Debbie!

The property managers were very responsive to our questions. The place was very clean and had all of the essential bathroom soap products such as body soap, lotion, shampoo and conditioner. They also provided a sample of their daughter's company's coffee which was great for the morning and plenty for the two cups we needed.

The apartment was very clean, easy to get in and out to go places, owners very nice, recommendations on dry erase board, it was just as advertised. Natural Bridge and Skyline Drive were both awesome. Great restaurants in Harrisonbug about 25 minute drive. We really enjoyed our entire vacation.

We had a delightful time here. Very clean, inviting and relaxing. Nice added features with porch for enjoying morning coffee and covered patio with fire place. Central location to the Shenandoah Valley park, skyline drive, and hiking. Kitchen had nice variety of items for cooking if you choose to cook. Check in and out was smooth, easy and inviting. Highly recommend!

Place was clean, warm and cozy! It felt like home. We really enjoyed sitting out on the beautifully lit porch, enjoying the candle light and crisp fall evening air.
Hopefully we will make it back in the spring.

Had a great stay at Ron and Debbie’s place. The carriage house apartment was cozy, clean and set up with everything you will need for your stay. Ron and Debbie were wonderful hosts and went over and above to make our stay comfortable.
The bed is very comfortable and the coffee supplied is wonderful. Thank you Debbie for the brownies, they were delicious.
We look forward to coming back to visit again in the future.

Ron was an awesome host! He was very responsive and helpful with directions. We really enjoyed our stay on their property. It’s the perfect location for exploring the northern part of the Blue Ridge Parkway and Skyline Drive in Shenandoah! My husband and I both slept very well in the bed! Thank you for your hospitality!!

My fiancé and I visited this place two weeks ago and it was one of our best staycation experiences. Ron and Debbie were very warm and took care of all our needs very well. If given a chance we would definitely go back there and spend more time in there. Sending Ron and Debbie lots of love!!

We enjoyed our short stay in this quaint guest cottage. Perfect amount of space for two adults with a bedroom, living room bathroom and small kitchenette. Peaceful location and friendly hosts. Overall a great experience!

The property is a great cozy little apartment situated in a very quiet town neighborhood of Grottoes. Perfectly located to take short day trips to the mountains, lakes and nature trails around the area. I would definitely recommend it to couples who want a nice getaway for the week or weekend.
