We went to PR for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed our stay here - the property is great, well furnished with a wide array of kitchen and beach items for people looking to predominantly self cater. The apartment has AC in the bedrooms, but only fans in the main living areas. However, when you have the balcony open and the kitchen window, the trade winds off the ocean blow straight through and you barely notice the humidity! The property itself is in one of many “resorts” along the Rio Mar area - they are secure and isolated from each other which is difficult to tell from a map, so anyone expecting a large sprawling resort with many many amenities will be disappointed - but for us a pool, playground and excellent beach access with plenty of natural shade - it was fantastic. Viviana was an excellent host and was super helpful in recommendations and answering any questions we had. Would definitely go here again!

This is a modest place to stay which is exactly what we needed. It was spacious, clean, and conveniently located near shops and restaurants. Owner was extremely accommodating and gave recommendations on where to shop and eat. I would definitely come for another stay in the future.

First of all, many thanks to Vivianna for being a great host. She always was easy to connect and we just had fun chatting with her about the area. We felt very centrally located to the El Yunque National Forest, the ocean and beach were right in front of us, plus getting to Old San Juan was really easy. We will for sure be coming back here in the future.

We loved Viviana’s condo! She was a wonderful host with a very clean, comfortable condo. I will miss waking up to the ocean views and being able to access the beach so easily. The water is shallow there so it was perfect for kids. We were close to San Juan, the rainforest, Carabali, Luquillo, and Bio Bay.

We had absolutely everything we needed to enjoy all the amenities the property had to offer. We were close to everything! Nothing was more than 40 minutes away. We will be back again! And we would recommend to anyone! A++

It is not a luxurious type of stay, but with the beach and pool outside your door, nothing else to ask for.

This property was a wonderful location for our much-needed getaway. The beachfront location provided wonderful ocean sounds and breezes, even as we read on the balcony or sat in the living area. Viviana was an excellent host and super communicative. And the supply of chairs along with beach and pool toys was a very pleasant addition. I highly recommend staying here.

Step out from this nicely condo to a beautiful beach! Condo has a full kitchen with A/C units in all 3 bedrooms. We were very happy with the quick communication we had with the owner. The only item we needed to request was some garbage bags, and they had them to us that day. Thank you!

For the parents- you will want to take the balcony room- leave that one to the kids. The second bedroom is smaller and stays cooler! Vivienne was great! Super helpful! Get groceries at Famcoop or Amigo. We had teenage boys in our group, so we did mix in some fast food to save money. You will be surprised by how much better the fast food staples taste here in comparison to stateside. Seriously!!! You need to book this NOW!

We just loved this property for our family. It’s in a great location with beautiful beach views, private beach property and nearby many attractions! Communication was top notch as well! We will be back!

I can't say enough about how wonderful this place was for our family of 5. There were hardly any people at the beach, which was a nice change of pace in my life. You sort of get used to the beach scene where there are people parting and such even in the midst of people trying to have family time, and this beach was not at all like that which was awesome! It was the first time our 4 year old daughter got to see and swim in the ocean, and it could not have been better. Viviana was quick to respond or give advice on restaurants and activities from an insiders perspective. She even had all sorts of items that we brought to the beach which really helped us enjoy ourselves that much more. Thanks so much Viviana!

The view from the balcony’s was amazing, the jacuzzi in the master bedroom was a plus as well, the walk to the beach was all of maybe 25 steps, the communication with the owners was great as well, our plane had gotten switched a whole day early and she helped me find a hotel in San Juan, she also let us check in early as well as texted throughout the stay to see how things were, the lights had went out and she let me know within 5 minutes that it had been reported and should be on shortly and it was working 15 minutes the lights was on. Great all the way around, very nice people very nice neighbors and guard... I love how serious they are taking covid as well.... that’s a major plus.... I would definitely recommend and will be back.

Excellent in all aspects!

This is a wonderful condo located right on the beach that made for a memorable family vacation. Viviana was a fantastic host, gave us many great tips and stayed in constant communication to keep us up-to-date on anything that might impact our vacation (without ever being intrusive). The unit itself is well equipped and was ideal for our family of six. THe complex is very secure and the beach is amazing, like having your own private oasis. We will definitely be back.

What a great family vacation! This condo was the perfect home base for a week of fun! We loved the peaceful beach with lots of room to play ball, cool off in the ocean and play in the great waves! The condo had everything you needed and was as described. The host was great at keeping in contact and answering all the questions we had. We hope to come back again!

Spectacular place! The beach is literally 50 steps away. We played dominos under the palm trees on the beach while enjoying a cold Medalla, a great beer made in PR, how cool is that? We were very happy with the apt. It has everything you can think of, from kitchen cooking utensils, beach chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, sand toys, hammock and games. Super convenient. We thought this was a good location to see the Island, we hiked in El Yunque, surfed in Rincon, toured Old San Juan, went on a bio bay tour with Pure Adventure. There are great restaurants nearby, We recommend Puertorrican Bakery in Palmer, super place for breakfast (fantastic pastries) and lunch (roast chicken, pork). The Las Picuas convenience store at the corner is good for beer, ice and other essentials. Absolutely loved it, recommend it and will stay here again for sure.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The pictures simply do not do this place justice! I have hundreds of pictures of the views from the balcony and on the beach right outside the door. It really is as close as walking don the stairs and out the secure gate. Then you are on a postcard worthy beach! Simply beautiful. The location was perfect. Our family of 5 had plenty of room. And Viviana is an amazing hostess. If you are on the fence about booking this place, don’t hesitate! We made some very fond memories here, and I cannot say enough good things about Viviana as well! FYI, the view from Richie’s is gorgeous. Have dinner there one evening so you can be there for sunset. You won’t regret it! Our highlight was definitely the bioluminescent bay. We did the one on the south side of the island through Aleli Tours. Seriously... the memories will be with us the rest of our lives!!! Beyond incredible.

We wanted to stay in close proximity to a perfect swimming beach, and this place didn’t disappoint. The beach is wide, sandy and private. Many days we were the only people on the beach. The water is shades of blue and green. No rocks or reef or stub your toes on. Waves can get a little rough so keep an eye on your kids. The condo was a good location to reach the rainforest, Old San Juan or the ferry in Ceiba. Be sure to visit the restaurants in Palmer right across the highway. Condo itself was clean and had everything we needed. Two beach-facing balconies were a bonus. Plenty of beach towels and chairs. Owners were very responsive.

Wish we had rented the condo for a longer period of time. It was just like the pictures, and very secure. Private beach, and swimming pool. The condo was very clean and spacious. The kitchen was fully equipped. There is a closet with things you need for the beach. It is very close to many attractions, and restaurants. Communicating with Viviana was very easy, Will rent again. Almost forgot, Viviana has a book for guests to sign and write their experiences. It is amazing to read all of the great experiences and suggestions from previous guests. Highly recommended 👍�🏼�👍�🏼�

Only great things to say about this place and our hosts. We were a suburbanite family of 5 including 3 kids visiting PR for December 2018 vacation. Viviana was super responsive and helpful both before and during the stay. The place was clean, pretty and comfortable inside with kitchen, washer dryer, TV, DVD player, board games for kids, etc etc. Plenty of room for us to spread out, and 3 nice bedrooms all with air conditioning. You can sit on the balcony and read and enjoy the beach view and breeze, we did a lot of that. The beach itself is a few steps from the apartment, there are beach towels and chairs and boogie boards and beach toys in the apartment, the beach is basically private to the complex, never at all crowded and often empty, it is lined with palm treats, big and sandy with waves of a good size for kids, and really beautiful - it was actually more relaxing and beautiful than the other more famous (public) beaches we went to in Luquillo and elsewhere in PR, better for everything except people-watching. There is also a great pool but we only used it a couple of hours total because the beach was so nice. Great location for visiting things nearby - about 7 minute drive to nearest town (Palmer) which has some great little restaurants and is entry point to El Yunque, there are also lots of restaurants, chain stores etc along route 3 near Palmer, its about 15min to Luquillo, 30min to Fajardo, about 35 minutes to San Juan. Before going we were concerned about effects of Hurricane Maria causing lingering problems, but everything worked great and Viviana was totally up front about what the situation was - as she told us the only amenity still being fixed was the tennis court, so we played basketball instead. There is 24/7 security to get in the gated complex, I guess that is good but honestly seemed unnecessary since we didn't see anything or anyone around that made us concerned about safety. Overall a fabulous place for a family vacation, highly recommended.

After weeks of doing extensive research I feel like I made the right decision.The 3 bedroom over the 2 bedroom made a significant difference.right in front of the ocean.the sound of the waves and the palm trees made it so relaxing.location was perfect,close to my family.My wife,my baby girl enjoyed it.they felt comfortable and right at home.my older son and daughter were able to fly in as well and it became sort of a family reunion.the apartment was clean,spacious.had all the amenities one could need.I would consider coming back to Rio Grande again.

loved this property. we had the place to our selves it seemed. the soccer court/volleyball was big hit with my kids. the beach was a even bigger hit for the whole family. the location was great for the tours we did out of fajardo area. only wished we could of stayed longer to enjoy the pool area as well.
