It’s was very spacious house good enough for a big family!

The regulation for the A/C do not work the house was hot all the time the TV didn’t have any connection to any tv service! The Internet service didn’t work the jacuzzi was disconnected we couldn’t used it also every was old version system!

the master bedroom toilet was broken. water overflowed everywhere… kitchen dishes were a mess. unorganized drawers. mismatched utensils & gross pots & pans. … some of the sheets weren’t even clean. everything so old & rusty there

The house was large and spacious, with multiple living rooms and a cosy gas fireplace. The kids enjoyed the attic.

We didn’t have garage access in a Tahoe snowstorm. The driveway was not plowed when we got there. There was no shovel. The Vacasa rep was more than 1 hour away and refused to leave her family dinner to help us. it took us two hours in the dark, snow, with two young kids, to shovel our way in even to get the cars into the driveway. That was just the beginning. The house had zero supplies for cooking. Basics like oil and salt were not available. The pots and pans were unusable. The wifi was patchy. The bunk bed slat broke while a child slept, it was a miracle no one was badly hurt. Lack of access to the garage meant that when the plows did come by (after 36 hours) they couldn’t clear our driveway and we could never drive out. We walked two hours to a nearby store just to get necessities like bread and milk or the kids would’ve starved. of course the storm meant we didn’t have power just thankfully there was a gas fireplace or we would have frozen too. Understand that this was an event out of their control, but the Vacasa customer service rep was uncaring, unhelpful and clueless. The home was completely lacking basic cooking and supplies, including a shovel, and a garage is essential especially in such circumstances.

Quiet, private, large house in a great location. Kitchen was very well equipped.

Wifi was bad - make sure to bring your own hotspot to get work done. Watch for bugs, especially spiders.

The house is beautiful in about a 10 minute drive from everything. It is very quiet during the summer. Donner Lake is beautiful and fun to swim in.

DO NOT GO IN SUMMER - there is no A/C and only one fan held together with twist ties. The kitchen could use some redo. There were lots of dishes, but they were highly breakable china and lots of specialty glassware. Some of the basics were missing for example no salt or pepper, Crappy cookware, cookie sheets, some mismatched plastic dishes. Lots of glass knickknacks and personal items around the house. One GFI in the kitchen would not reset, so we did not have power at the outlets in most the kitchen. Although we immediately notified property management, no one responded.

It’s Keyless. So we don’t really have about loosing the key. Property mgmt was able to provide us with the code prior to our arrival. It is very close to almost everything. It’s a good property for first timers ang group. They are just one call away and was able to walk you through what you needed something fix. There are pots, pans, utensils, plates, etc. available for you so you don’t have to bring too much belongings. Just your clothes and gears for skiing or snowboarding. There are gameboards for kids that the owners left behind for kids to use.

Bbq grill could need cleaning. We were told that it hasn’t been used for a while, plus it’s winter, so they probably thought we will not use it. Could also use some hooks for wet jackets. But these are easy fix. I’m sure they got all this covered...

High ceilings, all the wood and with the children downstairs meant plenty of room for all.

Just a few more bowls for cereal, otherwise everything you need.
