The location was fantastic, in the centre of everything. The apartment was home from home. We would stay there again when visiting Corfu Town. It had restaurants, cafes and bars all around plus a supermarket and fruit/veg store nearby and not too mention the delicious ice cream parlours too. Excellent communication from the hosts.

I couldn't find anything to dislike.

If you want to be immersed in local culture, this is the place as it's right in the middle of the town but at the pretty end with a short walk to the sea. It's not the quietest venue as it's just above one of the main streets but right in the heart of the vibrant district. It's load with locals, the church and the local band practicing in the building opposite but everything was quiet by 10pm every night, Trust me, this is the venue if you like to be in the heart of the action, without having to walk miles, it's perfect for Corfu Town living, if you like a slightly rustic twist to your stay. The welcome pack was amazing as well, just add milk! The apartment itself is very well equipped but on initial arrival through the front door, you may panic but don't!!! I should have gone here years ago!!

When you walk through the front door, don't panic about the shoddy interior.........it's not the 1800's!!!! It gets much better!! I believe an Estate Agent would call it 'Rustic Charm!!!'

Dirty! The first thing I did was sweep the floor. It was full of sand and hair. Then I cleaned the dirty broom and furniture. I was told that guests had only moved out in the morning, so I didn't just expect fresh bedding and towels.

Location and staff friendliness

Mattress very uncomfortable, AC was not working properly, low ventilation. very noisy and one day we woke up by the noises of the works upstairs

The location was nice, as was the interenary. Also communicating with the host was okay

The host forgot to tell us, that throught our whole stay, there was a construction of the appartment above ours. So every morning we had a “nice” wake up call.

Being in the Old Town near the Liston and in a UNESCO world heritage site. Having Chrysomalis taverna close by !

The shower wall fitting didn’t work … couldn’t hold the shower head . Unexpected noise from the street on Friday evening … groups of local teenagers going wild and encouraged by street hawkers ! Also , a busker competing with students at the Music Museum opposite the apartment … apparently all playing different tunes simultaneously … a veritable un relaxing cacophony every late afternoon and evening .

Great apartment in an excellent location, right in the middle of town. Facilities were good and just what we needed as a couple spending a few days in Corfu. Communication with the host was great with really good recommendations and help arranging transfers.

The apartment is in the very center of the old town of Corfu.

The apartment was inexplicably rated very high for its quality. This is an old apartment, renovated years ago with poor quality and random furniture. The apartment has an odor of mildew and sewage, which, as we were told, is common in old homes. In addition, the house has a lot of moisture, which gets worse as there is no ventilation in the bathroom, and the smell gets stronger. Our clothes had a terrible odor when we returned home. The floor of the apartment due to aging is crooked, so the bed is inclined and sleep is not comfortable. Curtains are very cheap and they are very difficult to open. The TV is too small to watch in bed. The room has 2 different colored lights, one with daylight and one tungsten. The daylight lamp makes the room look weird and uncomfortable. In the shower there is no shelf for amenities. In the bathroom we found a hair on the wall.
