Amazing!! We are totally in love with that place (view is incredible 😍)and hosts! The apartment has everything what you need. Clean, high standard, owners are very helpful and welcoming ❤️ We will come back there for sure!

Veliko Brdo is about 250m above sea level so views are fabulous of the sea, sunsets, islands and spectacular mountains. We had a car so distance wasn't a problem We did lots of walks and some days ended up walking from the beach to the apartment......takes about an hour, solid uphill. I think there is a bus service but we didn't use it. The pool is fabulous, very clean. The apartment is immaculate. Marija was on hand if there were any issues.......but there were none. ALso worth having a meal in the Restaurant Panorama even further uphill, fantastic views and excellent food.

Amazing position, very confortable with beautiful views. It's up in the mountain above Makarska, it takes 3 minutes with a car or bike, but the road is very steep and I wouldn't suggest anyone to use it by foot. The effort of reaching the apartmant could jeopardize the beauty and pleasure that you can get from it. The owner is very ncie and helpful and satisfied every request we had.

A lovely and unique sink in the bathroom and the swimming pool was as pictured.

Due to the location, a car was required everywhere we needed to go, even down to a local shop. The hosts were not responsive for hours on the day we were due to arrive, we received a message at 13:30 informing us about check in. The pictures advertised did not match actuality, unsightly views from the property were excluded. The apartment was not clean, only the bedroom felt clean and had a fresh feel to it. The bathroom had a mouldy shower curtain that ought to have been replaced a very long time ago. Due to these factors, we wanted to leave immediately. However, we wanted to be fair to the hosts and stay for at least two nights to give them time to find replacement guests for the duration of our original stay. The hosts were not hospitable after our decision to leave.

Excellent location and Hosts. Swimming pool and private parking very well worth for the time of our visit. Kitchen and air conditioning was useful. Overall a great peaceful location in Makarska- not far from Maxi Conzum supermarket. Marco is an excellent host- very helpful gentleman always willing to help. He allowed us to stay till after 4 pm to check out as our flight was in the evening. From the see view balcony, you have a great view of the sea, beautiful Brac island and sunset.

1. No fault of the hosts, the house in front needs some development but again nice olive trees and other fruit trees around. 2. We faced some problem with flies. I think this is due to the heat. Again Marco helped us with the problem. If the door is shut, there shouldn’t have any problem. Overall a great place to stay despite the minor problems.

We were familiar with the location, so we understood it was at the top of a hill. The swimming pool was nice and a factor in choosing this place.

The pictures did not match our expectations. Our place was not shown as part of the pictures. Our reason for choosing this place was the view from a balcony or terrace but unfortunately we stayed in the parking garage. They had told us all along that they could potential move us, and if we didnt we would get a discount. Well - that discount never happened. I did not like dealing with booking.com either (their hands are tied to the owner of the place). Kitchen was small with no oven.
