Disappointed would have preferred linen to be provided, no wifi , dusty and required maintenance. If you want budget accommodation this surely is the place no stove just a toaster oven with hot plates. Felt like I was camping

Great Budget Accommodation
Budget accommodation that has a great location close to the water and Coolangatta and Tweed Heads services. It is a clean and comfortable older style apartment with good facilities.

Basic accommodation with minimum furnishings. Pet friendly which is why we chose this flat. Excellent location with a wide range of shops opposite . Overall we had a pleasant stay.

Never again will we stay here. Granted the location is fab but that's the only thing going for it.
As soon as we arrived we noticed how dusty and full of pet hair the flat was from a previous tenant. I notified the office and straight away they sent over the cleaner who promptly pulled out an old rag and started to "clean" the floor. When I asked where was a vacuum cleaner she replied she didn't have one! I again spoke to the office who advised of course there is one she could use. When I went back to the flat she was clearly unhappy I complained to the office and advised she did have a vacuum just not in the flat. Also accused me of being aggressive when all I was trying to achieve was a clean flat for my family to stay in. I could go on with more issues but will stop here.
I also note other people have previously complained about similar issues but clearly the management have not fixed the issue with an incompetent cleaner and are not interested in fixing this issue.

We loved the location - so close to beaches, lookouts, cafes and restaurants but it was not too busy.
We had constant issues with the plumbing - sinks and shower not draining and sewerage overflowed from a drain into the back patio (which was not cleaned properly after this issue was fixed the first time). They got a plumber in on our second day but the issues continued sporadically. We had two whole days in total where we could not use the facilities.
The couches and bed were pretty uncomfortable.
If it wasn’t for the plumbing I would recommend this place.

Relaxing
Older unit, has everything you need for a get away, comfy beds, close to good food and easy walking to beaches and shops, clean and tidy, some peeling paint but who cares when you are in holiday mode.

Inside the place the floor was full of dust and our feet were black within half an hour of entering. It obviously hadn't been swept. Outside the tables hadn't been wiped down and we're quite grubby so we chose not to eat outside which was unfortunate. The neighbours were quite noisy both nights as if they were moving furniture at 11pm....had a shocking sleep first night. Cockroach in main room.
Positives, situated in amongst everything, kitchen was pretty well stocked for a small kitchen, even without air-con the fans were great and a great breeze from ocean side.

great position, unit facilities good
very happy with value and cost of stay, comfy beds and lounge, liked out door area. ran out of toilet paper- no spare roll. floors were dusty and i suffer from allergies. outdoor area needed sweeping as well. security doors wouldnt lock from inside with lever lock. dead cocky on floor in bathroom on arrival.

Ashame about the renovations upstairs
The rooms were clean old but for the price ok to sleep. With the exception of building works upstairs on our last day they started at 7am and on my sons last day they started at 6.30. The dog in the units behind was not a bonus but barking is what dogs do best. The realestate were great from booking to us leaving. Unfortunately the fridge did not work and it was a Friday so they had someone there on Mobday afternoon to fix it.
