We had a great time and the villa was just as advertised. Clean, well-outfitted, and beautiful. Everybody was kind and helpful to us. Great view of Fish Bay and great location. Quiet and beautiful both in the day and at night. 12 minutes drive to Cruz Bay. 20 minutes to Trunk Bay. The nearest beach is about 1.5 miles away, off Reef Bay Road. It's called Parrot Bay beach. There is basically no parking there; we hiked to it from the villa. A steep rocky path leads down to the beach. Beautiful to look at, but not great for any but the most experienced snorkelers and strong swimmers. Watch out--there are sea urchins on the rocks underwater. One slight caveat: Be aware that to access the two upper bedrooms you have to navigate a cast-iron spiral staircase. Could be challenging for some people. The second bathroom is located in the basement, one floor down from the main floor on the cast-iron spiral staircase. Just be aware--it was not a problem for us. I would highly recommend this villa.

This is a nice house, very well equipped with comfortable beds, nice linens, plenty of good towels, snorkel equipment and beach chairs, and plenty of dishes, cooking utensils and appliances. We loved the hot tub! Perhaps at one time you could walk to a vacant lot on Fish Bay where you could access the water, but there is now a house going up there and there is no access to Fish Bay or a way to walk to anywhere from this house.

The house was very open and sunny with the huge windows and views of the ocean from the house. It was very easy to keep the house as warm or as cool as we wanted because of the convenience of the handheld controls. We slept very comfortably in the master bedroom bed and enjoyed the large master bathroom and adjoining bath. We didn't think the listing was entirely clear that the house has three levels, so we were confused and thought the second bathroom was on the same floor as the master bath. Fortunately, my husband and I were the only guests, so it didn't matter. The shower in the master bath is outside only. It was a straight shot from the house to the nearest grocery store and into town, very convenient. We didn't use the hot tub but a couple of times, but for most people it would be a fun addition to their vacation.

Perfect location, perfect size for family of 4. Just close enough to Cruz Bay to be close enough to the action and far enough to feel disconnected. Can be a little difficult to find homes in St John due to narrow/sharp corners and crazy big hills- was a really nice touch having property manager meet us at the rental car company to guide to the house. All of the basic amenities were available which was very convenient. Will definitely return!

This was our 6th trip to St. John & the first time staying at Christy Anne Villa. The house was neat and tidy when we arrived, and Zara took the time to provide us with all the details of the home and gave us a few pointers on some of the places we had not previously explored. The hot tub was a nice addition to the home and was a great place to soak our tired bones after full days of swimming and hiking. We had daily visits from some deer, iguanas and a wide variety of birds passing by. The views from the deck were nice while enjoying some cold adult beverages and the constant breeze was refreshing. We look forward to our 7th trip back to St. John.

Great views, close to the ferry. Large bright home. A rental car and being comfortable driving hills and narrow roads is a must. The biggest negative — the upstairs AC unit did not cool well. Owner/property manager is very responsive. Overall, great stay.

Clean and beautifully decorated! The beds were very comfortable. Gorgeous views! Only downside is there is no bathroom on the top floor and coming up and down the spiral stairway can be a little tricky.

We absolutely loved the villa! They also had many extras that made our stay pleasant - extra pillows and bedding, bathroom toiletries, beach towels, etc.

An awesome stay with amazing views and hot tub , smooth check in and orientation with Kristen. Great amenities and snorkeling gear . One suggestion is stocking with a Kuerig, but coffee maker was fine. Our only regret was not booking longer. Thanks so much .

The manager, Kristen, made our experience absolutely seamless!! She met us at the ferry from St Thomas (required to get to St John unless your on a private boat), stopped at a grocery store for us to stock up, and gave us a thorough tour of the property. Easy communication. Excellent service. If you have more than one couple using the king bed bedroom on the main level, be prepared to ascend and descend spiral staircases to access a separate bathroom or a mirror. Great showers, great views. Roads on St John are not for the meek.

Had a great time at Christy Ann, really enjoyed the hot tub and outdoor shower. Location was close to Cruz bay which was nice. I would recommend this property.

Super clean & beautiful views! Girls trip for 2 & the layout was perfect. Kitchen & amenities were great, hot tub was just what was needed after the flight, hiking and snorkeling. Location was also fabulous- just remote enough and easy to get to either Cruz Bay or Coral Bay.

Our family of four enjoyed our stay here. The views were beautiful. The house was perfect, with one master bedroom and two smaller bedrooms upstairs.

If you’re renting a vehicle and want to stay in a beautiful house that sleeps 6 or less people, this one is beautiful. The views are amazing, the hottub was in great condition, beds were comfortable- plenty of room. I only gave the communication 4 stars bc we had emailed the owner about the upstairs AC not working and after his initial ideas he didn’t follow up on helping. I could have also reached out to the property management company who checked us in- I did not. Even without AC upstairs this place is a dream and we were so comfortable. Miss St John already!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our full week at the villa. We loved the covered patio and view with it's island breeze. We loved the full sized kitchen, the hot tub and especially enjoyed the outdoor shower. The beach chairs beach towels, noodles and coolers were much appreciated. We have already inquired about staying here next March. The best part. Zara (our rental agent) went above and beyond anyone we have ever worked with. We had issues finding the property initially and she guided us over the phone from Cruz Bay to the villa. She then met us personally to give us a tour of the property and answer any questions. We had issues with the internet from our second day. She came over personally to access and resolve the issue. It went out again and she worked with Viya to correct it. It went out again and she had Viya replace all the equipment. It went out again when the area lost power and she helped me over the phone reset the new equipment. It worked perfectly the rest of our stay. We communicated every day with Zara and she was a joy to work with. She did everything possible to make sure we had the best experience possible. Thank you Zara. We hope to see you soon.

Excellent layout of villa, full kitchen, nice covered patio with view and breeze, and easy entry with a good parking area. Enjoyed the beach chairs and lots of towels, easy laundry. Loved the spa! But, it's temp went steadily down and we couldn't figure out what to do, so basically it was good for only one night. Later it was bubbling cooler water. We asked manager about it and she said she would send maintenance but it didn't come in time. Our stay was only 4 nights. Other than that, the whole experience was wonderful. We hiked down the hill to the shore. Very steep but a great workout. I would absolutely stay there again!

We can’t say enough good things about our stay. The villa was just as pictured, if not better because the pictures do not do it justice. It’s large, spacious and beautiful. Situated on a hillside, overlooking the bay, it felt very secluded and luxurious and was a short drive into town. The view was spectacular at anytime of day or night. We fully enjoyed the balcony and hot tub in the morning to start our day and in the evening/night after a day at the beach. The breezes were heavenly so our doors were open all the time, no need to turn the a/c’s on, no joke. And the sound of the waves hitting the shore lulled us to sleep. Perhaps the highlight, other than the view, was the outdoor shower. It was difficult to appreciate the concept before arriving but it was truly amazing and everyone in our family chose it over the one indoors. The kitchen was fully equipped and even included some spices and oils which made cooking a pleasure, even while on vacation. We truly fell in love with this space and St. John’s. A slice of heaven.

This villa was exactly what my friends and I needed for this trip to St. John. It was spacious, full kitchen, a/c, and amazing porch. The views from the porch were spectacular. We spent most of our time on the porch looking at the views. Kristen helped us with check in. She was very lovely, but unfortunately getting to the villa was a big mess. We did not have a lot of information about the check in process when we landed in St. John. I’m a planner so I like to know things ahead of time. When we got off the ferry, we had no idea what to do. Thankfully, Kristen introduced us to Chris, our cab driver, who was a life-saver the entire trip. Chris was the absolute best so if you go to St. John and you need a ride, ask for him!! Overall the experience was amazing and the location of the villa was wonderful, there were just a bunch of hiccups the first day. I recommend this place!

Very lovely, well-appointed villa. Lots of seating indoors and out; reading lamps were very much appreciated, as were the abundant towels and beach chairs. The laundry room is excellent; clothes air-dried very quickly on the indoor drying rack. Balcony is wonderful except when windy, and it is at an elevation that catches lots of wind. Road and driveway are steep: tricky turn into driveway. Don’t expect to walk anywhere from here. But it is lovely and blessedly quiet.

The rental was amazing. Located close to town. The drive to north shore Beaches wasn't to far either. The breeze was amazing never had to use the AC. The outdoor shower on moonlite nights was amazing as well. The hot tub was the perfect way to relax after a long day at the beach! Couldn't have asked for a better Villa to stay at our group had so much fun!

We loved the location. Beds were comfortable. Chairs and different size coolers were greatly appreciated. Large driveway and walk right in no steps. Thank you for sharing your home.
