Really friendly and helpful - breakfast was good and relaxed - kind of buffet style.

Warm welcome by very pleasant and helpful hosts. Great coffee cake for tea on arrival. Went out of their way to accomodate our bicycles. Good breakfast in the morning. Pleasant room. Convenient for Truro shops and restaurants.

June was a fantastic hostess and made us feel very welcome. A real bonus was her homemade coffee cake on arrival. Just delicious. Our room was beautiful and the bed was incredibly comfortable.

Breakfast most substantial and very well set up. Short walk to town centre, bus station and shops and lovely walking along the river to Malpas village.

Breakfast was okay but it would have been nice to have a toasted Bacon Sandwich. But overall it was nice and enjoyable.

The coffee was really tasty even though it was machine made and the croissant was fresh.

Everything was impressive, the breakfast was generous and as an added extra touch, home-made cake is left out for the guests.

The rooms are furnished to a very high standard, with a luxury feel. The bed was very comfy, with quality furnishings, nice bathroom, power shower and luxury products. The sound proofing was good, and I didn’t hear the other guests. The whole building was very clean and fresh-smelling. Communication was good and the couple who ran it were friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again.

Greg and June are very kind and really care about you. It is like being home away from home. We got suggestions about gardens we didn't know about.

The quality of the room, the furnishings, bed linen, bathroom, were all at a standard well above what I normally experience in the "guest House" sector (I.E. not a hotel). The owners are extremely friendly and accommodating and made me feel welcome. The continental breakfast was comprehensive and the whole vibe was most relaxing - Just what you need on a business trip

So fortunate to book one of the last rooms available at this absolutely beautiful decorated hotel. Had the pleasure of meeting the very gracious owner. The courtyard was beautiful & a very generous continental breakfast, which was amazingly included in he price. Definitely booking here for a longer stay next time I'm visiting the Playhouse, Hall of Cornwall.

Very clean, comfortable room, everything had been thought about and lots of little touches to make it just right. Use of a kitchen and breakfast included in the price. Owners on hand and were very friendly and helpful.

paper thin walls - we were told off for speaking at normal volume when we came home at 11pm and were getting ready for bed; heating turned off overnight so chilly when got back from seeing family late and needed to shower
