we had a great week at Judy's place. She lives next door and is very responsive.

This was perfect for two adults, and two teenagers. We loved being so close to Narragansett beach, and the beach passes are such a bonus! Judy was very easy to communicate with. We look forward to coming again.
A reminder to bring your own towels! One of the mattresses is quite firm which was not a problem for us.

Great stay. Very clean, and very well stocked apartment. Location can not be beat. Narragansett public beach parking filled up around 10am each morning (last week of July). Due to the close location we were able to drop off and then ride our bike to the beach.

This was everything we needed. Great location. Walking distance to several restaurants, coffee and ice cream places as well as the beach. Beach passes a HUGE plus. Also a great home base for day excursions to Newport, Wickford, Block Island.
Judy was great with communications and went out of her way to help us when our plans suddenly changed. We cannot thank her enough!!!

We had a nice stay and enjoyed this wonderful location! The owner was easy to communicate with and responsive. We enjoyed being able to walk to other locations from this property. The two beach passes included with the rental were appreciated.

Perfect location and house

Rental was well equipped with any household needs. Honestly only needed to bring your towels and personal belongings. Unit was clean and well maintained. The beach passes are a definite plus but parking could be tricky. You can park free along seawall if available but is a bit of a walk carrying all your beach stuff or you can park in a lot for 10.00 if there is availability. Judy was quick to respond to any questions and I would consider this rental again.

My family and I had a fabulous week at this lovely beach cottage-style apartment. The AC, washer/dryer & dishwasher were much appreciated and we loved being able to walk to the sea wall, Monahan’s and The Coast Guard House. Also, I had a couple of minor questions mid-week and Judith was very quick & gracious in her reply. Many thanks for to her for being a great hostess, we hope to be back!

Nothing better than summer in Narragansett!
We vacation in Narragansett every summer and we cannot say enough about this property! The location was amazing with easy access to the merchants on/around Boon Street and a quick walk to Monahan's and the sea wall. With more space than you think, the condo was well-appointed, clean, and perfect for hanging out with family after long beach days. The friendliness and responsiveness of the owner are unparalleled (and of course, the beach passes put this rental over the top)! Thank you for a wonderful week in 'Gansett!

Casual and convenient
If you want a beautiful location for walking, biking, looking at the ocean 24/7, this is it. Refreshed Victorian; beachside style, great for families and the low key traveler. Comfortably furnished with functional kitchen. Near restaurants, coffee shops and retail. Great experience!

Perfect Pier Getaway
Excellent value, convenient location and has everything needed to enjoy a carefree week at the shore.
4.0
Pro’s: This property is very close to the ocean and is close to many other key locations (grocery stores, etc). I believe it was likely built in the early 1900’s and has a lot of rustic charm that is not found in today’s modern homes. It has beautiful old hardwood floors. It has a bright and airy feel to it. Two of the three bedrooms are rather large and can easily fit an air mattress if needed. The third bedroom is smaller than the others, but is still quite adequate. The property owner lives adjacent to this property and is very quick to respond to any questions. The property is well maintained. It has a lovely farmers porch in front and a private deck. The apartment has everything needed for a comfortable stay. You will have access to Narragansett Town Beach, which is a beautiful beach which offers restrooms, food concessions, surf lessons, and a very well maintained beach. Lastly, the price was also very reasonable for this location.
Con’s: While you will have access to beach passes for the town beach (which is way less packed than the state owned beaches), you will either have to find parking on the street or pay for parking in the West lot. The parking fee is not terrible ($15 on the weekend or $10.00 on the weekday). If you don’t show up early and can’t find street parking, you will have to keep your car at the apartment and walk. The walk is not terrible (a little over a mile), but at the end of a long beach day, the walk home can feel daunting. I knew this prior to my stay, but one day I just wasn’t early enough to get parking.
The only other con would be that one of the beds could use to be replaced. It is clearly very old and is quite springy.
Overall, this is a great find for its location and price. I think anyone would find it suitable.

I stayed a short distance from the town beach. You get two passes for the beach, only to find out you cant park in their lot. That should be stated . Also the cleanliness of the apt was not up to my expectations. One of the rooms had a child wardrobe in the desk drawers. With the threat of covid, it wasnt that clean.

July stay at Pier Pressure
Wonderful stay in Narragansett on South Pier. Very easy place to enjoy a week with nice access to town and beach. Cottage is clean and no frills, but has basics to keep you comfortable.

Great place & location
We just spent a week and couldn’t have been happier! Judith was an absolute sweetheart. Friends of ours came to visit and she even lent us her stroller as they had forgotten theirs. She was always so helpful and really went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying our stay. Location was awesome as you could walk to the sea wall and along the water. My husband went fishing down by the pier and we enjoyed putting our kids in the stroller each night and walking along the water. We return every year and will hopefully be staying here again.

We had a great stay at this fantastically located property. It was close to the beach and local amenities. Had a great time taking a trip down memory lane. The property is very comfortable and has everything you need, all for a reasonable price.

Spacious, old house, steep stairs to apartment
This is a good value as it sleeps a lot of people. Lots of space except in the bathroom where there is no counter just the edges of the sink but we used the washing machine for surface. There is a balcony/ porch with a table and chairs for 2 people. New windows make it easy to turn off noisy window AC units and have fresh air although there was a definite mildew smell in the bathroom.
You need to bring your own bath soap and the hand soap was almost gone. This is a second floor up a steep staircase.

Wonderful Location
We had a great stay.
The location is very convenient. As others have written the property is near Monahan's Clam Shack which is a great place for a casual meal or takeout (there is usually a line, but it moves quickly). There is also a pier nearby with a small contained area of sand that is great for little kids (many crabs and fish for them to see). Convenient walk to the Narragansett municipal beach along the sea wall. Also walking distance to several family friendly restaurants, shops, and a park.
The backyard is great for running around little kids. The in unit washing machine/dryer is very convenient. We hope to return in the future.

Lovely apartment in a great location
We really enjoyed our stay in this charming apartment in Narragansett. The air conditioning and fans made it very comfortable. The layout was great because we had plenty of room for visitors to come for a day at the beach. Judith was very responsive when we needed her. The location was great, too: such a short walk down to the sea wall, a seafood restaurant. . . The place had everything needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was well-stocked with pots & pan, dishes. Bringing our own towels was easy enough. It was great having the washer & dryer, especially after a day at the beach!

Centrally located near the pier wall. Spacious and clean. Perfect for families or 2 couples.
This was our second year staying at Judith's place. We love how spacious and clean the apartment is as well as the location. Some of our favorite restaurants are walking distance (Crazy Burger and Monahan's). Judith is very accommodating and kind. We are already looking forward to our return next summer.

Great hosts and home
This was our first time staying in Narragansett as for over 20 years we always stayed in Scarborough Beach.
This was by far one of the best places we have stayed and Matt and Judy are great. We were able to walk to everything every day as the location is perfect. My family and I have found a new great place to stay and can't wait to return.
Thank you Judy and Matt

Great apartment!
The apartment was spacious and clean, loved having the third bedroom for guests. The owners Judy and Matt are lovely people and live next door. The proximity to the ocean was good; however the street was noisy otherwise I would have given this a five rating for the value as the rent was more affordable than many other rentals we looked at.
