I was fascinated by this facility; The view, the attention of the staff, the cleanliness, the comfort, everything was perfect. The view of the room was amazing, i would recommend everyone to wake up early, sit in the balcony and just enjoy the view and silence. I would like to thank Filip for being so caring during our stay. If i ever had a chance to visit Ohrid again, i would definitely prefer to stay here.

Villa Sofiya is a very comfortable place to stay at in Lake Ohrid . The view from the balcony overlooking the Old Town and the lake was truly breathtaking. The rooms were spacious and the bathroom well designed and equipped. I would recommend this hotel.

The only down side is that it is at the top of a hill, with many steps to climb. It is not suitable for those with health issues.

It was a nice place, clean rooms, polite staff and very helpfull.

To get to the location with our car was very dificult, because of the tiny streets.

The view was truly extraordinary. In Macedonia, car parking is problematic. In this context, it was good to have a private parking area in front of the facility. Hristijan in charge of the villa was very caring, kind and helpful.

We had some trouble checking in. I didn’t know, but there isn’t a reception desk working all day, and it took us some time to manage to get in touch with hotel staff.

Excellent location in old town of Ohrid at the church of Sv. Sofija. The superior rooms are really huge and have a balcony with lake view and over the old city. Public parking is directly down in front of the hotel, but may be a bit crowded. Don't be afraid of the narrow streets in the old town of Ohrid, though the smaller the car the better. The hotel does not serve breakfast, but you have a kettle and coffee on the room, also some cookies, enjoy on the balcony, or go to a restaurant in the old town nearby.

i liked everything- except the bars of soap provided: the soap bars were absolutely tiny and too small to use- otherwise, the rooms were very nice, and comfortable: modern, attractive, clean and safe- with a fantastic view of Lake Ohrid. The owner, while not on site, was a lovely fellow and very responsive to our texts. The location was excellent in the old part of town, close to restaurants and shops. I would definitely stay there again.

The only thing I didn’t like was the tiny bars of soap. They were the size of a coin and difficult to use. Otherwise, no complaints.

In the center of the Old Town, overlooking the lake and the surrounding mountains. The manager (owner?) Filip was on WhatsApp and responded my questions and requests quickly. The room was clean and the shower had a temperature control and good water pressure.

The property is on the hill in the middle of pedestrian-only stairs from the parking area. The villa isn't staffed always. The property doesn't provide laundry service or a facility. No microwave. There is another villa of a very similar name (Villa Saint Sofija) and the taxi often took us there

the wifi doesn't work good, it is very very slow
