The location of hotel was great. Walking distance to places to eat and to the beach were so close. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Asked a couple of questions and was answered. Everything was comfortable and cool. Pool area was nice.

Area where the charcoal pits were needs work. Leftover material left out in the open. Some shade would be nice too. Maybe fix on website where it says washer and dryer in the room. It needs to state that its a laundry area on floor 2 and 3 or something.

The halls smelled of mildew and ammonia and the pool was over chlorinated.

apparently booking,com does not have correct descriptions of the rooms, I booked a room with a sitting area and washed and dryer and got a regular room. When I asked about the difference in room I was told the room what I booked and booking.com was misleading. The smoke alarm was above bed and has two tiny yellow slow blinking lights that woke me many times. the tile in rooms entry was slippery and slightly slimy.

Breakfast was awful. Bland prefab food with rubbery eggs. Need to offer some fruit Hotel was very noisy the first night. Our room was located by the back door where there was lots of coming and going

Refrigerator leaked water all over cabinet it was in and on to carpet. It had to be apparent to cleaning staff. It was not clean except in the middle of the rooms.

The hot tub was great, and they had a full breakfast. Everyone was very nice and helpful. Off the Main Street and out of season, it was very quiet.

Lacking any place to hang towels or swim suits to dry. Also my daughter cut her hand and needed stitches and the front desk said I would need to go to Corpus Christy, but there is a 24 hour ER urgent care on Padre Island.
