Condo was as described. Kitchen was well stocked. I found a sharpener in my last day that I wish I had found earlier for some of the knives. 😂 Beds were comfortable, and the living room furniture was pretty comfortable. This unit is close to the larger pool but not noisy. Would stay here again!

We enjoyed the St. Simon and Jekyll island areas, especially the restaurants and beaches. This unit was comfortable, but much smaller than it appeared in the pictures especially the bathrooms! Our major complaint was that it was without the basic necessities such as Kleenex, dish soap, hand soap, trash bags and toiletries… there were none at all. We were provided 1 pot holder to use as a dish rag… We called and the management company did bring these items to us, but we should not have needed to ask. Every vrbo in the past has provided these basic items plus more! Also, there were 2 lamps not working even after we changed the bulbs. The beds and pillows could have been improved and updated. The community was clean and quiet, however not walking distance to the Village Pier… over 2 miles. This condo could definitely use some TLC, a deep cleaning and updating!

Our second time in this unit. We love the layout, the furniture, the kitchen and private porch. It’s a short drive or walk to downtown, beaches and restaurants. We love dealing with Real Escapes also. They are quick to resolve issues, if any.

For the price and a last minute trip, this condo was nice. The property is older but this unit has had some updates. The furnishings and beds were comfortable. The pool area could use some upgrades - pool furniture is old. Be sure to bring anything you might need to cook with (oils, salt, pepper, sugar), there was nothing there. It was a pleasant and easy walk to the village. Beach access is further so we chose to drive. The staff was very responsive and communicative. Overall, not a bad affordable option.

They left us with only the one trash bag in the trash can. There is one tiny pan (no pizza pan) for cooking. Neither bathroom contained a hair dryer. We’ve stayed at many rentals and this has never happened. They need to invest in at least one to keep on property. Thankfully we always bring travel size shampoo and conditioner, but there was none of those either. I sent a message to the host on Friday asking about it. It’s Monday and haven’t heard back. It could be great, but certain things are lacking and need to be taken care of.

Cute condo
Myself, and my 2 children stayed here for 4 nights. It was clean and the kitchen was fully stocked. Centrally located to all of the things to do on Saint Simons. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again!

This is our second year staying March and April we enjoy the condo and the area. The only problem is the master bedroom TV does not work. We are booked for these two months next year and I would like to see it replaced or fixed which has already been looked at by management and they were unsuccessful.

My daughter and grandchildren came for a long weekend vacation and my place was too small for everyone. The Ocean Wave condo was a great alternative. We were near everything we wanted to do, and had the space we needed to enjoy their visit. Everything we needed for the kitchen was provided and it was great to have the washer and dryer for beach clothes and towels. Loved the decor and the comfort of the furniture. Well go back to this alternative whenever we have our families visit in the future!
