Con 1100 pies cuadrados con 2 dormitorios y 2 baños junto con una cocina bien surtida, una mesa de comedor de 8 lugares y una mesa de desayuno de 4 lugares con vista al océano Atlántico, creemos que encontrará el alojamiento espacioso y cómodo como usted relájate con el sonido de las olas del océano.
La sala de estar está amueblada con un cómodo sofá y love seat, un televisor de pantalla plana de 42 "con cable y una estación de MP3 / IPOD para su disfrute musical.
El dormitorio principal (Captain's Quarters), con vista al océano y al muelle de Avon, tiene un balcón contiguo y tiene un baño principal separado. Está amueblado con una cama queen size, tocador y cómoda con cajones, y un armario, que ofrece un amplio espacio de almacenamiento para ropa y artículos personales. También proporcionamos un televisor de pantalla plana de 39 "con cable para una visualización más relajada.

Beautiful condo located on the beach. Watch the sun rise and set from the balcony. We were so comfortable and at peace here that we didn’t want to leave!

The unit was spotless and well equipped with everything we needed. Everything looked exactly what was pictured In. the VRBO. app. A minute to the beach and great views from the deck having morning breakfast. Skip and Pat were very responsive and kept us informed as to the road conditions resulting from then TS IAN. Enjoyed our first visit to OBX and looking forward to a return visit with them already.

This is a wonderful place for a relaxed week, with the exception of the hurricane this week. The view is terrific, the condo well maintained and supplied. This was our second year and we will be back.

Piece of heaven
Our accommodations and stay were everything we hoped for - peace and quiet - heavenly views. I would go back again...in fact I wish I didn't have to leave.

The place was very clean, beautifully decorated, spacious, the views of the ocean were spectacular! The hosts were very responsive and helpful. You can tell the hosts take great care and pride in their home. We felt privileged to share it for a week. Hosts provided information on OBX sights, activities, and restaurants in the area. Very well stocked kitchen and a lovely gift basket of treats and necessities were waiting upon our arrival. The hosts allowed us to get in a little early; which was appreciated. A few previous reviewers commented on the stairs... the 72 stairs to beach and 35 to the beach, which were not a big deal for us; plus there were beautiful views of the city and beach from the 3rd floor. We have stayed in 40+ rentals throughout the US, EU, and UK and this is our new favorite.

The place was very clean, beautifully decorated, spacious, the views of the ocean were spectacular! The hosts were very responsive and helpful. You can tell the hosts take great care and pride in their home. We felt privileged to share it for a week. Hosts provided information on OBX sights, activities, and restaurants in the area. Very well stocked kitchen and a lovely gift basket of treats and necessities were waiting upon our arrival. The hosts allowed us to get in a little early; which was appreciated. Love this place
This is the second year that we have stayed in Seamist Escape. The condo is perfect for the 2 of us, great furnishings, kitchen outfitted with everything you need, and being right on the ocean is fantastic. We love Avon and hope to return again.

The views of the ocean are wonderful! The condo is very clean & decorated in great coastal themes. There are a lot of stairs, but it's worth it. Can't wait to stay again!

The condo is beautiful and has an amazing view. Very close to anything you may need and very well stocked. Be very careful of the screen door, it closes very hard and I was injured, so just be very careful going in and out. My husband rigged up a rope system to hoist bags up and down, 61 steps is a lot to carry everything up and down. We fished on the beach at night and there isn’t much lighting on the stairs descending from the beach, so it’s very dangerous, bring lots of bright flashlights! The neighbors are very aware of everything you do as well. Had a great stay, otherwise.

We could not be more pleased. We have stayed in multiple condos in Avon and this is the nicest one by far. The Marlowe’s are wonderful hosts. They communicated with us well both this and last year prior to our stay. We didn’t need anything during our stay but are confident that they would have been helpful if we needed to contact them. We appreciated the welcome/reference books they put together with the many activities and restaurants in the area. They also had a welcome bag for us upon our arrival. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking. The condo is very clean. The location and view is amazing. This year we watched fireworks from the deck that were set off the end of Avon Pier. Thank you again for sharing your beautiful condo with our family.

Beautiful respite.
Awesome views of the ocean, especially at sunrise. Tastefully and thoughtfully furnished, with every amenity and need considered. Super clean. We wished we had booked a longer stay!

No issues. Very relaxing setting. Clean throughout. I brought a rope to raise and lower belongings which saved us time and energy with trips up and down the stairs.

This is a fabulous condo, great location in the middle of everything, fantastic view of the ocean and the condo is very tastefully decorated and is very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. Pat and Skip were most accommodating and we thoroughly enjoyed our week and would love to go back.

Gorgeous views!
This was my first stay at this condo, but I am an OBX veteran. Seamist Escape is one of the nicest OBX places that I’ve rented. The breathtaking view and one-minute walk to the beach made the numerous steps worth it! My teenage niece joined me as a consolation prize for her COVID-canceled spring break. She rented a surf board right across the street and took lessons just the other side of the Avon pier. She loved shelling, as did I. On the one rainy day, we also enjoyed a visit to Kinnakeet Clay, a nearby pottery shop. Speaking of COVID, Skip and Pat kept in great communication about my reservation status and went to great lengths on cleanliness. The condo was spotless. The kitchen is the best stocked of any beach place I’ve stayed - it even had sharp knives for cooking! We ate in every night and enjoyed the ocean view from the balcony and breakfast nook table. If you’re looking for a peaceful beach getaway, look no further: Seamist Escape is worth it!

Beautiful view right on the beach...
Everything we needed was there for us. The condo was super neat and clean, though it was pretty dated. It was roomy and had a nice floor plan, bedrooms were on opposite ends which is great for privacy if you needed it.(it was just my husband and I) the biggest issue was the endless climb to the top floor! I think we’re in decent shape ( we were aware there was no elevator) however, bringing luggage and groceries and such was kind of a drag!! We laughed and joked that at least we were burning calories but... I don’t think we’d stay there again because of this though...

Wonderful Property
My family of 4 stayed the week of Aug. 10th. The property was very clean and decorated so nice. We are a Navy family and loved the ship/nautical theme. The VIEW IS TO DIE FOR! There are steps to the condo so that is the only drawback I could see for some. Easy check in and the owners were great to work with. If you are not sure about this condo, please give it a try. We loved it!

Fantastic views and so much more!
Besides being able to see the ocean from almost every window in the condo you have a covered balcony with comfortable furniture that invites you to sit and read a book while sipping on your favorite beverage. We enjoyed family card games on the balcony and sometimes just fell asleep listening to the waves crash on beach, that by the way is but a short walk over the dune.
This was our second stay at Skip and Marlowe’s paradise by the ocean and we plan to return again and again!

Condo with a view!
Thank you to the Marlowes for a seamless experience from initial questions until the end of our stay. There wasn't a single detail that they missed - from a well-stocked kitchen, to plenty of seating, to of course the perfect view. Perfect location for my family of 4 for a week of downtime.

Great Condo-Would stay again
The condo was well-appointed with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was very clean and beautifully decorated as well. Upon arrival we were surprised with a bag containing extra paper towels, toilet paper, laundry detergent, garbage bags & frisbee. The best part was the unobstructed view overlooking the beach and surf. Enjoyed the sounds of the waves crashing night and day. We used the location as a base for exploring the Outer Banks from Corolla to Okcracoke. Loved the laid-back, less crowded atmosphere in Avon.

Skip was great to deal with. The condo was clean and well stocked with everything to make your weekly stay comfortable. Being a property manager myself the only thing I would add is dish towels for the kitchen and hand towels for the bathrooms.
