Staying at the Seaside Studio Suite was the perfect location to have as our base for the week. The suite was the perfect size for the two of us. We enjoyed having a full size fridge in the kitchen and the kitchen supplies were enough to meet our needs. Every morning we had our coffee and breakfast on the balcony while we watched the ferry and other boats get started for the day. We spent our days exploring the island and then returned to shower and have happy hour on the balcony before dinner. It was super convenient to be able to walk right into town to eat without having to worry about driving on the roads in the dark. Every day we used the beach chairs, cooler and beach towels that were provided in the Suite. For parking we got a weekly pass through Slim Man’s and ended up using their overflow/additional lot (EZ parking) across from Woody’s. That worked out well and was conveniently located only a few minutes walk from Grande Bay. The booking process was simple and the communications from the owner were timely and easy to follow. The check in and check out process were easy as well. We definitely recommend staying here if you want to stay in town during your time on St John.

Best location.
Beautiful views off balcony. Convenient having the kitchen and washer/dryer. Location couldn't be better. However, the unit was not clean when we arrived.

Lovely studio!
We had a great time during our stay in this lovely studio! It had everything we needed and was a quick (<5min) walk to town. The location couldn’t have been more perfect! Looking forward to staying here again in the future!

Paradise!!!!!
It was a wonderful property. It was the perfect size for my husband and I. The suite was nicely furnished and the kitchenette was well equipped and everything was spotless. We also had a stackable washer and dryer and a safe in the suite which was handy.
We were within walking distance of all the shops and restaurants and the beach bar was right across the street from the resort. It was a fun place to go the food was good and the music at night was enjoyable, along with the beautiful sunsets we watched while sitting on the beach in the adirondack chairs sipping a drink. The outside balcony to the unit was delightful we could sit and watch the boats come in after a day on the water. Honeymoon Beach was the bomb with its bikini bar and gift shop and only a short hike or taxi ride away. . Make sure you take the opportunity to snorkel with the sea turtles while you are there. All in all a wonderful vacation!! Thanks, Tracy, what a great host! We will be back!

Gorgeous!
We had an amazing week in this beautiful, perfectly put-together unit. With just two of us, it was wonderful to sleep right by the slider to the balcony, so that we could enjoy hearing the waves in the harbor lapping the shore all night. The studio unit had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. Tracy (owner) was so easy to work with, and her staff did a great job of offering us assistance with arrival details, equipment and excursions, if wanted. Thank you all for a wonderful experience - we will definitely be back to Seaside Properties!!!

Great Getaway - Close to everything!
This was a great little spot to get away from it all. Well appointed and clean. The views of the water were fantastic and the short walk across the street to the beach was great for our toddler. Strollers could be a little tricky with the narrow streets and walkways...we ventured without one. 50/50 on if we would do that again. There is apparently a baby place that rents backpacks and maybe strollers but we didn't see an ad for that until the last day. The rental person did a fantastic job of greeting us at the boat and giving us several tips on what to see and where to eat. We rented a jeep on St. John for a couple days to see coral bay, grab groceries and visit a few of the beaches. Maho and trunk bay were fun beaches. Renting on St Thomas might be a better option logicstically with a kiddo if you have long flights. The pedestrian ferry was great though and parking can be tricky. Baby food is cha ching and limited selection so bring what you need if your little one is picky or if you buy organic. Most everything else grocery wise has a more typical selection. The only downside was that Carnival was going on nearly every night we were there and it was LOUD late into the night. Thankfully our little one was exhausted from playing all day and slept through it. If we go back to St John we will definitely consider staying here again!

Amazing Suite & PERFECT location!
This was our third trip to St. John (our favorite vacation destination), but our first time staying in the heart of Cruz Bay. The location of the Seaside studio suite at Grande Bay Resort could not have been any better! We loved that we were easily able to walk into town to all of the bars, shops and restaurants and even to some beaches. We rented a jeep, but at this location it's not a necessity as it's easy to catch a cab to get to the beaches, and it's an easy (and beautiful) hike to get to Honeymoon Beach. The Seaside suite is super clean and cute and has everything you need for your stay. (we appreciated the beach towels! There were also beach chairs and coolers available) We enjoyed grilling on the patio, and the beautiful views of the bay. There is also a pool and hot tub at Grande Bay, with amazing views! (we were the only ones using it, one of the pluses of being there during the down season!) Tracy, the owner, is super friendly & so was Sarah who picked us up at the ferry dock...thank you both for making our stay enjoyable! This vacation was amazing....we stayed on the go hiking and beach hopping...but, also found time to relax and enjoy the beauty that surrounded us....it's such a peaceful place. I am already missing Seaside and St. John....it's a beautiful island which keeps bringing us back; I know when we return we will stay at Seaside again. If I could give Seaside 10 stars, I would!

The best!
It was the best vacation we have taken and the best place and people to deal with! From the greeting at the ferry landing and tour to the location, great people awesome suite, and friendly fun safe getaway. Walking distance to everything we wanted. We couldn't have been more pleased! Look forward to a return trip.

Location can't be beat
Perfectly spacious and clean studio with a great view of the bay. Loved getting up early and having a cup of coffee on the balcony. Had everything you could possibly need for making breakfast and lunch (you buy your own food of course) and also for the beach. Beach chairs and good size cooler are available. The air conditioning was not working correctly the day we arrived but one call to the front desk and it was handled promptly. One of the beach chairs broke and their management company replaced it right away with a brand new one. This is very we'll run and the studio itself is very comfortable, no need for anything larger unless you want to cook a lot when on vacation. I would not hesitate to stay here again. Owner is easy and pleasant to work with.

My husband and I recently stayed in "Seaside Studio" at Grande Bay. I can't add many more superlatives to what others have already said. This studio unit is wonderful. It "lives bigger" than it actually is (around 420 sq. feet?), is beautifully decorated, comfortable, has a VERY comfortable bed, and the air conditioning system is quiet and efficient. The studio has a nice sized lanai with a great view, and is very convenient to "downtown" Cruz Bay. Tracy is very easy to deal with and very prompt in replying to questions. Tracy has outfitted this studio with just about everything you can think of, with high quality kitchen implements, and Crabtree & Evelyn bath products. There is no stove, so only light meals (breakfasts, sandwiches, etc.) can be made, although there is a grill on the balcony and a microwave. With the proximity to town, I imagine most people will chose to eat at the local restaurants while on vacation. There is a washer/dryer in the studio; we appreciated this, as we try to travel lightly. One concern I had prior to arrival, was the possibility of late night noise from the "Beach Bar" which is only about 80 yards away. As it turned out, there was no need for concern; once the slding glass door to the lanai was closed it was very quiet. Seaside studio is perfect for those wanting to be close to Cruz Bay and not rent a car. Highly recommended.

Best Birthday Trip Ever!!!
Just had the BEST birthday trip ever! The Studio Suite was just as pictured and, just as already noted, within walking distance of great shops/restaurants. Both the property and room were well-maintained and clean. Had a blast at Castaway's happy hour - $1 well drinks, great fish tacos & bingo! Also, had the best meal ever at the Fish Trap (they even gave me a slice of cake w/candle and sung happy birthday, thanks Lori). I was originally planning a trip to St Thomas and am so glad I swithched to St John. Tracy was so easy to work with and answered any questions I had promptly. I am definitely returning and will definitely rent through Tracy again.

Our home away from home...
This was our second visit to Seaside and we still can't say enough good things about the condo. It is well decorated, has all of the ammenities that you would need and provides a fantastic view of the Cruz Bay harbor. Tracy is amazing to work with and makes the transaction as easy as possible. We love Seaside and can't wait to get back next Summer. Thank you for making our annual St. John vacation a memorable one.

AWESOME PLACE !!
Our stayed at Seaside -Grande Bay Studio Suite. The condo is in a great location, within walking distance to restaurants, shopping all that you would need in Cruz Bay. The Studio had everything that we needed for our visit. The unit was clean and comfortable, the washer/dryer was a great spacer saver for luggage. And a great view from the deck. The whole Grande Bay is great, pool is awesome and great view too. Thank you Tracy for your hospitality and making our first trip to STJ the best. Rita met us at the ferry dock and gave us Cruz Bay tips as we walked to the unit, so convenient. Just a small tip, bring less clothes and more money on your vacation to STJ, Awesome Island, we will be back very soon.

had another great trip in St John. "Seaside" is the perfect home base whether hitting the north side beaches, walking to the bars/restaurants or just sitting on the balcony listing to the waves....

Perfect Location in St. John
My husband and I stayed in this lovely suite for a week to celebrate my birthday. The location was absolutely perfect. We could walk from the ferry dock to our condo, the jeep rental location was in walking distance (we found that renting a jeep was ideal for us to get to other parts of the island and to specific beaches without having to wait on the taxis), and all of the shops and restaurants were easily accessible by foot. The view from the balcony is so beautiful and we loved being in the midst of the "action" nearby. The condo size was perfect for two people and we enjoyed having the kitchenette for making coffee in the morning and keeping makings for sandwiches, snacks and wine/beer. Everything we needed was available for use such as beach chairs, towels and a cooler. Additionally, having the washer and dryer was extremely nice to have available. We are already looking at scheduling our next visit and I have already recommended this condo to other friends. No complaints whatsoever with regards to this studio.

Lovely Suite in Cruz Bay!
The condo was just lovely and perfect for 2 adults. It is exactly as pictured. We had plenty of room to relax on the sofa and enjoy cocktails while getting ready for evenings out. We didn't cook dinner, but had the right kitchen equipment for quick breakfasts before we headed out each day. Rachelle from the on-island management company met us at the ferry dock and brought us to the condo complex. She gave us a brief tour of the property and showed us around the condo. She went over the amenities and left us with a local map highlighting some of her favorite spots for drinking, dining, and music. The complex is located right in Cruz Bay and we walked everywhere - including 2 times to our favorite beach Salomon Bay. Tracy was a joy to deal with - this was our first time renting on VRBO and she made it very easy. We got the contract via email and mailed it with our payment and security deposit. The security deposit was returned in the time frame promised. When we go back - Tracy will be the first person we call for a place to stay!

Absolutely Fantastic
I arrived on a Saturday evening after being on the road for 48 hours as I was coming from Vietnam to a friend's wedding. Rachelle, the property manager was waiting for me and even took me to Starfish so that I could stock up on some basic supplies and even provided me with recommendations for different restaurants. The suite was beautifully furnished with top of the line amenities and appliances and had a view of the harbor. It was wonderful to wake up to the sound of waves and a priceless view of the sea. In terms of location, there couldn't be a better place. Everything was within walking distance so it is extremely convenient. This is the best place to stay in St John and I look forward to my next trip.

Studio
We stayed in this unit for a week and found it to be very comfortable. There was no loud noise from town with the sliders closed and we had no issue with light comming in to wake us in the morning. The gym is great to have and we used it every day. Location....could not be beat! We usually stay outside of town but won't be doing that anymore now that we have stayed with in walking distance to everything! We do not rent a car when we are on St John we use a taxi driver Chico who has been great to us. The pillows by the way were really cozy and the feather comforter was extra nice! Just like home! Would like a large cooler for keeping drinks cold. Fridge was good but would rather keep that space for food items. Overall would recommend!

Perfect Spot, Perfect Accomodations in Cruz Bay
Stayed here a week in early October for a first anniversary. The unit was perfect for a couple. There is so much to do on St. John during the day and night that you won't be spending much time in your room, and this unit has more than enough size and the right features to be the perfect solution. Easy walking distance to the government dock and everywhere in Cruz Bay. Beautiful view of the harbor right out the glass doors/balcony, like waking up to a travel brochure photo every morning ! Owner and manager were great to work with. Highly recommend.
