Plenty of space for 15 of us ranging on age from 5 to 81. Beautiful view of Sugar Mountain ski slopes. Very clean! Easy to get to. Would definitely stay here again with a large group!

The photos don’t even do this house or property justice, it’s even more beautiful in person. This house was absolutely perfect for our small wedding ceremony. We had both of our immediate families stay with us and got married on the deck overlooking the property. There were also so many beautiful areas for photographs. We would definitely love to stay again for a big family vacation.

This house is good for a large group with several couples. There are many bedrooms that are mostly all of the same. The master suite is average. There are two kitchens on different floors, but they were both nice. This property is animal friendly, so it has a pet odor throughout most of the house. Location is ok for convenience, but not for the view. Close to Banner Elk and has plenty of parking spaces. The fire pit was very nice and the exterior porches were well equipped. The house is choppy and there is no large open space to hang out in, but that is the trade off for the large number of rooms. Not one of my favorites houses in the area, but if you have 7-8 married couples, it was very accommodating.

This was the best location for a wedding! The barn was perfect for the reception! So many different views for photos and hanging out. There was plenty of room for our families in the house and such a relaxing space.
Patrick was great with communication. Answered all questions and was very easy to reach/ responsive. He’s a fantastic host. Very easy to work with and understanding. We all loved his property. We had zero issues all weekend.

We recently stayed at this charming cabin and it exceeded all our expectations! The view from the property is absolutely breathtaking, offering a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
The cabin itself is a gem. It's not only impeccably maintained but also thoughtfully designed, providing a cozy and comfortable atmosphere. Having multiple bathrooms was a huge plus, ensuring everyone had their own space and privacy.
The property manager responded to the messages quickly and friendly. Thank you to the property manager and the owners for sharing this wonderful cabin with us.

I rented this property and barn to host my small wedding of about 45 people. Our immediate families stayed on property and our guests were able to find very close
Accommodations around town. Photos really do not do this place Justice. The view in the back is absolutely unbelievable. The property is absolutely amazing. The barn was the perfect size to host our event. There is not a bathroom in the barn, however there was a very clean port o potty around back. Our guests were also able to easily access one downstairs of the house. Patrick was an excellent communicator and host. He answered all of my questions (multiple times). I would 100% come back again and stay. Thank you for helping create the mountain wedding of my dreams.

The home was beautiful. It was comfortable and close to Sugar Mountain. The kids loved coming home to a warm home made dinner and they loved sitting outside on the porches. The adults were comfortable and loved the fire pit. The convenience of the location was wonderful. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your beautiful home.

We had the most beautiful wedding this weekend and it’s all thanks to Patrik. He was so resourceful and extra communication was very helpful. The house was plenty spacious and the views were breath taking. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great venue for your wedding or even a nice family reunion. Patrik's property was absolutely stunning. We had our wedding here of about 50 people and stayed 3 nights. The views of Sugar Mountain were great to wake up and walk out to. The barn was the perfect venue for us. It was way bigger than we expected! There was enough parking for everyone down the road a bit. All of our guests were raving about how beautiful the property was. HIGHLY recommend to anyone looking for a wedding venue that won't break the bank. Patrik was extremely responsive and replied back to all our messages within the hour.

Rented for a family weekend with the extended family, everything was perfect, especially the 2 levels, one for kids and 1 for adults!

Family get together
Our adult children and their families had a wonderful time. My husband and I couldn't go on this trip because my husband got Covid 4 days before we were to leave. At that time we couldn't cancel because we could not get a refund. So the kids went without us it broke my heart. We haven't had a family get together in 5 years. Everyone else loved it and had a wonderful time.

Magical cabin and Wedding Venue
The property is absolutely beautiful and the additional barn that was used for our wedding reception was stunning. We had a amazing weekend and couldn’t have without the help of Patrick. He was there every time I had a question or needed help. The house is fully stocked with all that we needed. Beds were comfy, 2 spacious living rooms and Kitchens. The house and barn are well provided for and are spotless. A wonderful rent for a wedding (such as us) or a family reunion. Tons of space and views to look at. The pond being one of the most beautiful At night. Everything is so well lit! Thank you for the best weekend. I wish cherish these memories forever.

Really enjoyed staying over the Memorial weekend. Delighted with the Mountain View while eating BBQ on the front decks. Bonfire added a lot to our happy experience of stay. The neighbor had some noisy motorcycle traffics coming in and out but didn't bother that much. Thanks for your excellent service!

The house was stocked with everything you could need and even has its on sledding hill right out front! The adults enjoyed the two floors with ample bedroom space, two kitchens and 2 living rooms. The kids loved every minute of the beautiful outdoor property, sledding out front and drinking hot cocoa around the huge outdoor fire pit.
The owner, Patrick gave us all the information we needed before we even arrived. He even had the number for a local guy who was able to provide us with firewood for the outdoor fire pit!
It was truly an amazing house that allowed us all to have an amazing time. We hope to be able to rent this house again in the future :)

Everything was amazing! We had experienced some vendor issues while planning our wedding but not with this venue. Everything was perfect! Patrick was very responsive and courteous. The property is better than what’s actually listed on VRBO. Do not hesitate to book this location. Price is honestly reasonable for the experience, house and barn are clean and well maintained. All of my guests approved and asked when we were coming back!
