McCabe's Beach es una comunidad de Long Island Soundfront. Cerca de restaurantes, farmstands, pesca, actividades de playa y 'Agri-entretenimiento'. 90 millas de Nueva York y cerca de los Hamptons. The hosts thought of everything. We had a wonderful month in this incredibly comfortable and well equipped home.

This is a beautiful, spacious three-bedroom home in a leafy setting that is quiet and private. It is well-furnished and equipped for indoor and outdoor cooking and dining, with gas grill and a table for six with retractable awning. there are two cable tv sets on the main floor and a pool table downstairs. there's a washer-dryer combo, a garage and parking for several cars. McCabe's Beach on Long Island Sound is a block away. The owner, Lawrence Manfredi, who lives nearby, was always available and helpful. We stayed for a month, had a great time and highly recommend the place.

What a wonderful summer in Southold. From the minute we reserved this home, Lawrence has been available to assist with any request or questions. The house was fully equipped, from beach chairs to spices in the kitchen. The home is centrally located to all the North Fork has to offer. McCabe’s beach is a 3 minute walk.

Both the house and the host were excellent. The house was immaculate and more spacious than we expected. Lawrence and Mary were very friendly and always on hand to answer any queries. We would highly recommend.

A perfect retreat!!
Our stay at this retreat was very peaceful and enjoyable. The house was very clean and organized. Everything we needed to make our stay comfortable was available. The location is amazing, next to the beach and a short drive to great eateries and shops. There are plenty of farms and wineries in the area . You will love the convenience of getting in your car and driving a few minutes to wherever you have to go. We went for walks every day and saw deer, rabbits, plenty of birds and a frog by a bridge.

Great place!
My family and I stayed here for two weeks and everything was clean and perfect. The house has everything you need and the view of the water was awesome. The owners were very accommodating and made the stay that more enjoyable. I look forward to renting in the future and taking advantage of the beach and surrounding vineyards.

Idyllic vacation
We spent a wonderful month at this house and loved every minute of it, even the occasional torrential rain. The house is the best equipped one we've ever rented and we've rented many. The kitchen has just about everything one might need, the garage is loaded with beach paraphernalia, tools etc. and everything in the house was spotless. We especially loved walking to McCabe's Beach most evenings to watch the sunset and then walking back amidst the fireflies. We were able to hone our grilling skills and spent more time eating on the deck than usual. Mary and Rosie were always available if we needed anything but were not at all intrusive.

Great location, two minute walk to beach, short walk to tavern/restaurant, short drive to wineries and brewery, The home was immaculate and equipped with everything.. We stayed 18 days in the winter; great fireplace , wide screen tv, loved it.

WOW! This place was the absolute perfect spot for a relaxing girls weekend. The house is in immaculate condition, and no detail has been overlooked. Mary (the owner and neighbor!) has thought of everything in outfitting this home for guests. I felt like we were at a friends house, not a rental. The kitchen is equipped with everything you could ever need, including spices, appliances, coffee filters, etc. Mary even left us a bottles of water (and a bottle of local wine) to get us started! The beds are SUPER comfy, with high quality linens, plenty of towels, and extra pillows and blankets galore. I've been in rentals were I felt like I was camping out, this felt like home.
The location is also amazing. A short walk to a lovely beach, and a short distance from many great wineries. We had a rainy weekend, but we were quite happy relaxing in the home, and running out later for some sparkling wine at Sparkling Pointe Vineyard. Breakfast at nearby Erik's was delicious, as was the pizza from Passiano's. The nearby town of Greenport has tons of cute shops for strolling around. There are many farms in the area that host fall festivals, very cute!
Mary is a great hostess, and good resource for local things to do. You could definitely just show up at this home, and be all set for a great vacation. (She even left a basket of toiletries in the bathroom in case we forgot anything!). We didn't utilize it, but downstairs in the basement is a pool table and second sitting area.
I highly recommend this home for a great Long Island getaway, either beach or vineyard, or just to get away from it all. Wonderful place!!

The house was recently renovated and is tastefully decorated. The owner is nearby and is very helpful if necessary and lets you alone when you want your privacy. The walk to McCabes beach is too short to be considered exercise. You are centrally located to all of the North Forks best restaurants and wineries. It's a great spot for bicycling, five minute to very nice golf course. Only thing that I missed is an outside shower. Small price to pay for such a terrific place to stay & enjoy the great sunsets from the deck.

It has the perfect blend of beach and country living. We particularly enjoyed the beautiful view of the Sound from the back deck and the short walk to McCabe's Beach - which was very quiet and peaceful. It was greatly appreciated to find that the house was well-equipped with all the essentials. Above all, the hospitality was exceptional. We look forward to returning soon!

We had such a wonderfully relaxing stay at this well-appointed home, which is tucked away in the perfect location to experience all that Southold and the North Fork have to offer. It has the perfect blend of beach and country living.
