We have stayed on Fripp Island 8 times over the years, and this location had the best view by far- The view from the top porch where you can see the Atlantic and the Marsh can not be beat. Property was in very good condition and great communication with Donna. We will stay here again.

Out of all of our years visiting Fripp, staying at the Misty Breeze was one of our favorites! The house was spacious, comfortable, and had breathtaking views from both porches. The house was clean and provided plenty of things needed with dish pods, soap, trash bags, etc. Would highly recommend for any family.

Donna was excellent with communication leading up to our trip. She answered every question that we had (and that was a lot). Her house, the Misty Breeze, was absolutely beautiful and in a great location! We had a small delay with the check-in process and was not given information until after check-in time. My husband and I arrived in Beaufort around 3:00 but had to walk around and kill quite a bit of time because we didn't have information needed to get on the island or the house. This wouldn't have been such a big deal to us if it wasn't our first time and we were more familiar with Fripp. We were not able to get the golf cart that night because the shop was already closed by the time we arrived. However, accidents happen, and that small hiccup did not ruin the trip for us! We LOVED the Misty Breeze and plan to return. Thank you, Donna for sharing your home on the water!

House was in a great location away from the busiest part of the island. Our favorite activity was sitting on the screened porch watching the fish jump and the cranes hunt- we even got to see an eagle and a dolphin! Only drawback was ocean view was a bit limited by the neighbor's bushes. We would definitely stay again!

I go to Fripp just about every year and I’ve stayed in a lot of different places on the island. This one was by far the cleanest and worked perfectly for our group of 4 adults. The views were gorgeous and it’s steps from the Cabana Club. Still easy to get to the less busy part of the beach, and you even have your own private little “beach” with a water view. We had fun watching dolphins and people fishing from the porches and the house had everything we needed. We had an issue where the instruction/welcome packet was missing upon arrival and the host was very responsive quickly. Be aware that parking is limited, especially if you have more than 1 vehicle plus a golf cart.
We’ll definitely be coming back here.

The Misty Breeze on Fripp Island, SC was perfect for my husband & me, along with our son & his girlfriend. The house had just about everything that we needed, was clean and tastefully decorated, with plenty of room for the four of us. Everything was in good working order. The ceiling fans were wonderful on the hottest week so fat this summer. The views were great and we enjoyed the visits by the deer. If we return to Fripp, we'd love to stay at the Misty Breeze again!

My children, age 17 and 19 and my husband and I really enjoyed our stay. Each morning we would drink coffee on the second floor, balcony and enjoy the views. We could catch sunsets from there as well. The location was convenient to the cabana club, and everywhere on the island.

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at the Misty Breeze! The house was nicely decorated, clean, and well appointed. Our favorite part of the house was the screened in balcony. We enjoyed breakfast out there every morning before heading to the beach and pool. Donna was a wonderful host and great with communication. We have already booked our trip for next summer.

This was by far one of our favorite houses! The view of the inlet and location to the Cabana Club was amazing. House has everything you need and Donna is the most responsive host!

House is amazing! Super clean, super cozy, and just perfect. It was everything we were hoping and more. Owner was so nice and helpful and very quick to answer any questions I had during the reservation process. This house is just simply perfect!

This property is on a great area of the island for some amazing sunset views! We didn’t realize that the backyard had its own sandy “beach” area to play on for our son- not at the water but he didn’t care. We had most meals including dinner “at home” almost every day of our stay and found the kitchen to have everything we needed to do so- even a slow cooker which was great. The proximity to the activity center was great for our son, just right around the corner. The beach is truly just a short golf cart ride away. The only thing I was let down by was that the ocean view from the main level is almost completely blocked by the neighbor’s landscaping- which of course is not this property owner’s fault. We had to go to the upstairs master bedroom for the ocean views if we wanted them. The marsh views however are so breathtaking and beautiful from all levels- not disappointed!

My husband and I and our two little dogs had a wonderful first-time visit to Fripp Island. Donna’s house was perfect-clean, roomy and gorgeous views of the channel and ocean. We spent a lot of time on the decks (upstairs and downstairs). So relaxing…loved seeing deer every day in the yard. Cant say enough good things….we will definately be back!

The house was great and had everything that we could have wanted or needed. The views are some of the best on the island and the cleanliness of the house was immaculate. We loved our time staying here and spending time on the porch looking at Pritchard island. And Donna was so easy to communicate with back and forth. Will definitely come back again!

The house was in a great location and the view of the beach and the marsh was definitely the best part. We had a great and relaxing time! The house had plenty of space and everything we needed to cook except for paper towels and dish soap. The host was great and communicated fast. We will definitely be back!

This was an ideal rental. It was quiet, close to beach and restaurants. House itself was well equipped and perfectly suited our family with three bedrooms with comfortable beds. Wifi and TVs worked well. All in all, a great place to stay that we highly recommend.

This house was gorgeous. It's the perfect locations steps from the Cabana bar, beautiful views of the water, and plenty of space for our group! We will definitely stay here again!

Beautiful house by the ocean
We had an amazing stay at this house on Fripp Island. We really did not want to leave. We saw deer come up to the property every day, which we loved. We also really liked watching the rise and fall of the tides. This house is really in the perfect location. As we were getting ready to leave, we were already planning a time we could return to this place.

Loved Fripp Island! The house was perfect and we loved the beautiful sunsets from the deck. The golf cart was a great plus and we used it everyday to explore the island. Donna was great with communication explaining the many amenities on the Island.

It is walking distance to the Cabana Club and Nature Center. Due to cold temperatures, we were unable to enjoy the swimming pools, however. I didn’t expect the close proximity and access of the house to the water connecting the marsh, wish I had brought my fishing gear and kayak. I’ll definitely will next time.
The view of the sunset from the decks overlooking the tidal marshes towards Pritchard’s Island and Skull Inlet were stunning each day. We had a great time watching the natural habitat and wildlife with variety of birds and of course the multitude of deer practically at your doorstep.
We loved the use of the golf car which provided easy access to explore the island and visit the pristine beaches.
Fripp Island and the Misty Breeze is by far the best place I've stayed on the SC coast. Wished we could have extended our stay and can’t wait to return again.
