Cabin was everything as described beautiful mountain views.

Everything was perfect. The only thing that was t working was the jets in the bathtub, but we used the hot tub mostly anyway so this wasn’t an issue. Great quiet cabin in a quiet neighborhood.

Things felt dirty. When we arrived there was hair in the bed. The upper levels had layers of dust. There was a list of things that could have been repaired or updated. The jacuzzi jets didn’t work nor did the sauna.
We did enjoy being here but the condition of the place put a negative feel on it.

This place was exactly what we needed for a week away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Nestled away in the quiet woods of Sautee Nacoochee this cabin provided the type of stress free environment we needed to decompress from of work and other life stressors. Far enough away from civilization, but still close enough to enjoy the adorable town of Helen without have to drive for hours. And we got to bring our dog! We especially loved the large tub in the bedroom as well as the hot tub on the porch to unwind. There was some construction going on at a nearby cabin being built, but nothing we couldn't overlook and find other distractions to keep us focused on relaxation. Would absolutely recommend and would likely stay again.

The cabin was perfect for a anniversary stay.

Beautiful cabin. Clean and enjoyed our stay

This cabin is tucked away and surrounded by beautiful mature trees, yet you aren’t far from anything you’d want to do. Whoever designed the layout for this cabin created a spacious cabin for two with all the amenities built in. There is no shortage of natural light, and the leather couches were very comfy.
With that being said, if I personally owned this house and came to visit, I wouldn’t be happy about it’s condition. It is quite clear this property doesn’t receive TLC on a regular basis.
While I could write a novel on the amount of details which are routinely overlooked, the short story is the cabin was very dusty and had some mold.
The cleaning crew used cheap cleaners on the floor which leave behind this greasy film all over the floors, so we had to wear shoes inside because going barefoot was not a comfortable option.
The kitchen is barely stocked with the cheapest of essentials and half the appliances need to be replaced.
There are couple things to note:
1. They expect you to haul your trash in your car to their office and put it in a bear proof dumpster. Their office was a few minutes away, so not a super long drive, but if you aren’t coming in a truck, make note of this.
2. There’s no washer or dryer at this cabin. Not a deal breaker for us, but if you like to go home with clean clothes, take note.
3. We opted not to reach out to management as it was a short stay and we were out and about most of the time. We enjoyed it, but wouldn’t go back.

Nice cabin with easy access to Helen. Enjoyable stay and would definitely stay in this cabin again.

The cabin was very beautiful. Open floor plan and great for 2 people and small dogs. The dogs loved the outside area and we loved sitting in the living room and with it having so many windows the views were amazing. The large soaker tub and outside hot tub were a plus! The area is secluded but within a 10 minute drive to downtown Helen or Sautée Nacoochee ( small town with great culture). Within 5 minutes of Anna Ruby Falls and Unicoi Park. Very scenic area. Post card like views.

This was the perfect get away for my wife and I. Felt like we were in the middle of nowhere but still close enough to town to enjoy what it has to offer as well. There are cabins around you but when you are at this cabin, you can not see anyone else! it is the perfect size and layout for a couple to reconnect!! will be back for sure!

The cabin was in a great location. Only a few minutes drive from Helen, yet very secluded cabin in the wood. Very private with no neighbors in sight. However, there is no great view off the deck because of the trees, but if privacy is what you looking for, this is the spot.

I went to the cabin for my birthday with my boyfriend. We had a great great time!!! Maps took us a back way and took us straight to the cabin. Very secluded!! Love that. I love the backyard setup. The only thing is it was a little dusty. That’s all. It was so romantic for us. We ended up getting breakfast at this cute place in Helen. 10 mins away. Bed was comfy, kitchen clean and enough pots, jacuzzi and hot tub nice. I disliked the fact that the tv in the bedroom is old and not working. I hope they fix that soon. Other than that.. perfect bday weekend.

No help finding the unit. Fireplace outside not available. Burnt out. Paid for it. Want credit back. Many appliance lights don’t work.

Outstanding property. We could live in this cabin for the rest of our lives (as long as we had a 10000 sq. ft storage building 😁)

This is the perfect getaway for a couple of love birds! While this cabin does not have sweeping mountain views, it does have what many others do not - privacy. So if you are looking for a place that is romantic, fun, and the only real view you want is your spouse, look no further!
Here are a few details you might want to know:
1. The jets on the indoor tub do in fact work, so they must have been fixed since some of the older reviews.
2. The water at the kitchen sink is lower pressure, but it does get hot. Just push the handle back towards the window and wait about 3 minutes.
3. The sauna works, but give it at least 45-60 minutes to heat up.
4. The outdoor fireplace is out of order. Hopefully they will get this fixed as it would be a perfect evening spot for some wine.
5. There is no longer a TV in the room with the master bed (as shown in the picture). Again, would be nice if they added this back as it would be the most comfortable place to lie back and watch a movie.
6. There is Wi-Fi, and while not screaming fast, it is adequate.
7. Verizon wireless works well enough to make calls at this location.
8. Even though the driveway is steep, getting in and out is easy for both car and motorcycle.
All in all it is a wonderful getaway with lots of privacy and a fun atmosphere for two. We will most definitely be back!

My wife and I decided to just look for random cabins in Georgia since we were driving back from Florida to New York. This was the perfect spot to unwind. The privacy on the back porch was great, the hot tub and sauna were very clean. The kitchen had all the essentials and the rest of the cabin was clean and organized with many unique pieces of art to fit the whole theme. 10/10 would come back for another visit!

The property was amazing, everything we dreamed of and more. Only concern was finding the location, the map did not take us straight there, called the help lined when they finally picked up stayed on the phone 30 min with no help. Finally we found the Vacasa office a sweet lady helped us, said we never would've never found the location. She took us to the location herself. Even with that major issue in the beginning we loved it. Maps need to be updated big time. Google maps will NOT take you there!

So many cabins in this area with the same amenities, you should look at those. This one seemed very nice upon arrival and is really a beautiful place but here is where they went wrong. First, the water of of the kitchen sink has no pressure but also NO hot water. Makes you wonder how many of the dishes were hand washed and not sanitized by the previous tenants? I made steak the first night only to find the steak knives were as dull as a butter knife (someone is going to get hurt) and there was not can opener on site so I had to drive to the store. I left the red dial opener for those you stay in the future, your welcome. Now the bigger issue and hopefully you are reading this before you book because I did not. The jetted tub in the bedroom does not work. If you go back to comments in December and even into October of 2021 it appears that it has not worked in some time. We chose this cabin for that jetted tub because my wife does not like to sit outside and we both have bad backs. We called the first night and were told that someone local would call back and probably come out the following day. No one had called by the following day at noon so I called again. They said they would send another message. No one ever called during our stay or after. They sent an email after my stay saying that someone was out to fix it but I believe they said the same thing to the last tenant. I complained and they gave me less than 10% of what I paid for the trip. I guess something is better than nothing but really more of an insult than a reward. They tricked me into a stay because of an amenity that they did not have (they knew it was broken since October) and then did little to make it right afterwards. Seems like a bad business practice to me. I will be cautious not to use Vacasa locations in the future due to their poor service and deceptive practices (based on this stay). I did try the outside jacuzzi but the water had a foul smell to it. A chlorine tab floater might have help. The sauna works....just got to give it 90 minutes to heat up. I agree with previous comments about staying with dogs - there really is no patch of grass for the dog to use. The house is at the bottom of a steep hill and no yard to speak of. To make things just perfect for us, the power went out and the weather dropped below freezing on our last night there. We were up before the sun come up but could not see anything so had to wait a bit but got out of there as soon as we were able. I have sense looked around the area and found a good number of other locations in this area with the same amenities. If we were to return it would be to another location and one without a Vacasa logo on it.

The house was perfect. A great retreat for couples.

Nice cabin, needs thorough cleaning.

Cabin is cozy, quiet, and very secluded. Hot tub worked perfectly. Refrigerator ice cold, but could use door shelves because all were missing. Ensure you make all phone calls, emails, etc before arriving as personal phones, tablets, etc will not connect to the Wi-Fi and the installed land-line does not work despite maintenance attempting to fix it. Fireplaces are abundant. Pool table is great fun. Leather sofa and Captain chair are extremely comfortable. Both televisions work, but only have DVD players. If you want to watch Blu-Ray movies, bring your own player. Also, for security purposes, bring your own alarms as the rear cabin doors are hinged on the outside (thus door jamb bars will not work). Overall, a gorgeous and well-appointed cabin. Just needs to have cellular phone capability (unable to connect with our 3 carriers of T-Mobile, ATT&T, and Verizon). If you drive to the top of the hill, you can place phone calls to family, 911, etc. would stay again if those items could be enhanced in the future. Very peaceful place to stay.

The cabin was beautiful. Just the right size for a romantic weekend. Disappointed that the outdoor fireplace was out of order and the sauna also didn’t seem to work (the temperature would never get over 75degrees). And we couldn’t find a can opener. But I would still return here for a romantic weekend away. The hot tub was fantastic after a day of hiking.

The location was only a 20 minute scenic drive to downtown Helen. The cabin itself was secluded with a lot of privacy to relax on the back porch in the hot tub. We loved the location and how cozy the cabin was.
8.0
Overall, it was a very comfortable, cozy cabin. Perfect for 2. Lots of space, generally well appointed. Hot tub was a great addition. 15 min drive into Helen.
A few improvements would make this 5-star. First, like others have mentioned, the TVs didn't work very well. The bedroom TV just didn't work at all (nor its DVD player). Batteries in remotes need replacing. And the LR DVD player was very glitchy. Can't be expensive to replace. And I'm pretty adept at using AV equip. Aside from maybe new equipment, how about some use instructions?
The kitchen could use a few items: Baking dish, roasting pan (one included was rusted) and some storage containers for leftovers.
Given that these are little fixes, i would likely come back again.

This cabin was great little gem. Perfect size for two. Hot tub, jetted tub and sauna a nice addition. Nicely furnished, the pool table was a fun distraction. Would stay again

Perfect place to getaway for the weekend. Close to Helen but far enough away for privacy. The back porch with the hot tub, fireplace and sauna was our favorite thing about the cabin.

We loved the cabin. The decor, the bed is very comfortable. The hot tub was amazing. Wifi never failed us. Unfortunately there's no cell service for making phone calls or text but a 5 minute drive down and it picks up again. Very close to helen. Everything was perfect and will definitely be coming back on our next visit.

The cabin was listed as Mountain View’s but trees overgrown blocked all views. Very misleading. The cabin is adorable but needs major TLC. The fireplaces did not work and seemed to be closed or clogged. Had black smut where previous fires had blown out instead of up chimney. The sauna did not work at all. The hot tub worked great but wouldn’t turn off. Tons of big spiders on rails on deck. It seems no one really maintained or cleans the place. The toilet didn’t flush unless you held the handle down. The water was hot and shower was nice. The bed was very comfortable. We didn’t attempt to use tub due to all other issues. The TV in the room is not hooked up to anything so it’s only a blank screen. The living room took forever to play due to spotty WiFi, which is fine bc we didn’t go there to watch tv but since nothing else worked we tried. The kitchen was poorly stocked. So bring basics if you plan on cooking. It’s a shame the cabin is not better taken care of because it really is adorable and perfect for a romantic couple getaway. We drive out of state for a short cabin stay in the mountains and specially searched for Mountain View’s and one of the reasons we picked this one. Maybe only in winter you might see some but it definitely doesn’t look like site photos. I would book again if it was taken care of and the amenities worked.

Though quaint, this property needs attention. Upon arrival, there were abundant cobwebs throughout cabin and human toenails on the bathroom floor (yuck). The kitchen lacked basic supplies...no pot holders, no cutting board, no can opener, no serrated knives (only very dull knives), no oven safe or microwave safe cookware, etc. There were burned out lights in kitchen and on back porch. No emergency supplies of any sort - no first aid kit, no candles or battery lights of any kind except 1 flashlight that did not work. Bathroom towels smelled bad (like they were put away damp). Very disappointed in this rental, at nearly $300 per night all up, you can do much better

This place has been cared for. The areas cleaned were immaculate (couple corner webs, but only thee most OCD will notice.) The pictures show exactly what this place looks and feels like. By the way, the weird picture is a personal sauna. Yeah, seriously. Access was easy, 7 minute drive to Helen. Cookware, dinnerware, all great. Word of warning is that there's not a grain of food here. Bring everything you need if you want to cook. Absolutely beautiful place. Already shared it with a friend and will be going back myself soon.
