An authentic New England farmhouse experience two and half miles from Sandwich NH. This means there is abundant wildlife all around that comes right up to house from humming birds flitting among grape vines hanging from a trellis just outside glass doors to black bears making nocturnal visits. The house is dog friendly and our dogs loved that they could leave whenever they wanted. There is no internet and spotty cellphone reception. For that, you need to go to the Front Range cafe in Sandwich. The absence of distractions allows for reconnecting by doing activities together and relying on each other. There is no other way to safely get up Mt Washington.

We love the rustic look.The barn was great for keeping the bikes clean. The farmers porch was great for rainy days.all around very comfortable!!!!

Nice place but needs some real work on downstairs bathroom and more comfortable living room furniture. Overall we all had a good time. We were really not at the house except for evenings.

My family and I had a great time at this home. So many things to see and do right in town. They loved the potholes and beade falls. It is a country home something to be taken into consideration. We are upstate ny all the time so we are used to this. Supermarkets are rough to come by and the ones around 40 mins away dont have much so bring what you can. There is so much room for everyone to have space and the gardens are amazing. Thank you. My kids already want to go back and we just left today.

This was our first time in Sandwich. We loved the antique farmhouse and setting. We spent mornings and evenings on the wraparound porch. Nature is all around you. It was so peaceful. It's a great location to frequent Squam lake, or local hikes. Sandwich creamery is down the road for amazing ice cream. Great little restaurant known as the foothills with a nice lunch and dinner menu. The kitchen had all the amenities to make nice meals. The owners were very responsive. We loved our stay.

Peaceful country getaway
Spent a lovely week in complete quiet in antique farmhouse in idyllic New England town. House can fit two families with plenty of beds. Best feature is long, wraparound porch. Loved walking .4 miles to organic farm stand. Easy drive to local swimming spots and town for tennis. We'll be back!
