Great location, great people but it goes down hill from there. Communications with the host (Hilda) could have been better. We would send a text and not hear back from her for sometimes days. It started with the pool being closed twice. It was repaired but with temporary fixes.. we were given the wrong code to the pool/ beach. Luckily were were given the correct code by another guest. We had to ask for dish cloths and dish towels which were never provided in the four weeks we were there. The cable in the master bedroom did not work (this was also stated in a December 2022 review) and the tv in the guest bedroom did not work. The cushions on the balcony furniture were dirty and frayed. The beach toys and chairs were rusty and grimy. The outlets and covers were loose in every room. Light bulbs were either burned out or missing. (This was also mentioned in an April 2022 review.) Light bulbs above tub/shower are exposed to moisture. The outlets and light bulbs were fixed after 2 weeks. There is pealing paint on the ceiling of the guest bathroom. We were told that it had just been painted recently. There is mold along the tub in the master bathroom. Our main issues consisted of the refrigerator being repaired three times during our stay. The ice maker water supply failed to shut off resulting in all of the towels being used to wipe up water. This was repaired the same day. The refrigerator leaked every evening during the defrost period. This resulted in a beach towel being used on the floor to wipe up water. This was fixed two weeks later. The last straw was when the repair person failed to plug the fan back in after the second repair. This resulted in a weeks worth of food going bad. There is no excuse for this type of repair service. Hilda was contacted on Saturday morning and the issue was finally resolved late Tuesday afternoon. We wasted many days waiting for a response from Hilda or for a repair person to show up. We did have a lengthy conversation with the actual owner and he wasn’t happy to hear from a renter. He hires a management company to deal with these issues. We love staying at The Shores but all of these issues have really made us even think about renting this unit again. We were told updates were going to be made, bit it’s a shame that other renters will get to benefit from our poor experience.

Nice 2nd floor beachfront condo. Cleaning could have been better, but okay. Management company failed to notify us when cleaning was finished and we could move in. Other than that, no problems. Nice neighborhood, great beach.

We enjoyed out stay at Redington beach. This location is awesome! The only negative was the communicationwith our host. I sent a message before our trip with some questions that was never responded to and we had an issue with the master bedroom cable that was basically ignored. We liked everything else so much we'd stay again.

Very nice but had a few issues. Light bulbs out and frying pans need replacing. Some wash rags stained. Keurig not working. Gate to pool area was incorrect.

The condo was clean and efficient. Loved the location. Beach was not crowded. The only negatives were the gate code we were given didn't work to the pool access. We were given a new code that worked. They need new pillows for the bed, they were old and flat. The keurig didn't work. And most annoying was every morning at 8:30 am the grounds keeper would wake us with his leaf blower. Over all we had a wonderful time and would rent again.

Air condition filter and unit was a fire hazard. Filter was changed by us, to get the air operating. I asked if this unit was handicap assessable because my husband is on a walker and is 100% disabled. This unit was not set up for handicapped. No staff available on site to correct numerous deficiencies.

I loved the area. The views are beautiful. The condo is a little older and they have renovated it somewhat. The only complaints I had with it is that there’s no light in the second bedroom you have to use lamp. And no cable on that T.V. But, I would definitely stay again.

If you are looking for an OF/BF condo then this one is perfect. We had perfect weather the week we were there. Thus getting many pictures of gorgeous sunsets. The condo itself was okay. As others who have left a review stated, it does need updating. One of the two doors in front of the washer/dryer was missing. There was mold in the master bathroom tub. The filter for the HVAC looked like it hadn't been changed in months. I changed it. We stayed for a week and after a few days the unit started smelling musty. All in all, we had a great time. We would rent it again. Just because of the condos location.

Loved cooking at the grills and having the tables right by the grills/beach. The beach was great and very accessible. The unit is fine, there are some signs of wear at the condo (including several questionable electrical outlets). We were happy with the overall condition, but we also we not looking for every bell and up to the minute updates. We would definitely return again.

The bathroom countertop in the master bedroom was a little low for adults. The second bathroom was great! Plenty of room for storage, when staying a month or longer. Amazing view off of the balcony. Another plus was that we loved having to use a code instead of carrying around keys. Pool and the area surrounding it was very nice and relaxing. Loved the chairs and loungers. We met some really nice people who have been coming for years. Hilda was an excellent host. We hope to come back in the future.

Perfect location! There are lots of places to walk to or take the trolly. We loved how close the pool is to the beach . We will definitely come back !

This condo was disgusting! When my family and I first walked in, we were met with a foul odor of cat urine. The carpets in the bedroom look like they have been there since the 1970s and obviously aren’t washed. The sheets on the beds felt like you were sleeping in dirt. The basic supplies (toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher detergent, trash bags, beach towels etc.) were not there. I had to go to the store and buy it all. When I contacted the owner about these issues, Hilda pretty much ignored the issues about the smell and condition in which the condo was left, and then stated that the cleaning crew was supposed to stock all of the supplies. Communication with the owner was awful, when I first tried calling her to explain the state in which the condo was left, she sent the call to voicemail and ask to text her because she was at a dinner party. Which I refused. She finally picked up and said when she was done with her evening she would stop by. When she arrived, she had 2 rolls of toilet paper, a single roll of paper towels, and 3 beach towels in a black trash bag, (we are a family of 4) which I’m shocked she wasn’t embarrassed about. She then said that she would reimburse me for all of the supplies I had to buy which also included febreeze and glade plug ins (which weren’t even strong enough to get rid of the cat urine smell) so I gave her the receipt and she left. After the vacation was over I text the owner and explained my disappointment with her condo, and I also inquired about the reimbursement, and asked about possible compensation for how nasty her unit was considering we payed over $1,400 for 4 filthy nights to stay here. This was 3 days ago and I still haven’t heard back from her, and I still haven’t been been reimbursed for the supplies I had to buy. Extremely unprofessional! Do yourself a favor and don’t rent this condo! What a waste of money! We rented the condo next door last year (which unfortunately was unavailable this year) and it was amazing! Exactly what you would expect it should be like. Again I can’t stress enough, I would never recommend this condo to anyone! The entire experience was awful!
