Very clean condo, convenient location to downtown Kona, lots of useful items stocked (items for the kitchen and going to the beach, etc.). The first aid kit was particularly helpful during the visit.

It’s hard to find a 2 bedroom and 2 full bath unit that is reasonably priced. Add to that a beautiful view right on the Pacific Ocean and that describes just how good this property is. The kitchen has anything you might need. The lanai is expansive and beautiful. One of, if not the best, rental properties we have ever stayed in.

The condo was great! pros: view was unbeatable, very clean, extremely well stocked, easy to get in and out, good parking, decent pool, A/C for sleeping (didn't need it at other times), owner's info and communication was wonderful and detailed, access was easy cons: street side bedroom was a little loud until about 10 due to traffic and people hanging out, office on property was not staffed most of our visit therefore security and assistance was not really present (we didn't need them but could be a problem) Overall, this was a terrific rental and we would definitely stay here if we ever decided to take the long flight to Hawaii again. Highly recommend!

To be quick: super cozy and convenient location, and an amazing waterfront. I can't imagine another condo being as well stocked (kitchen, beach, etc.) Personally, I would be highly suspicious of any non-perfect reviews for this place. We would absolutely stay there again!

Enjoyed our stay in this well-furnished, very well-equipped unit. Spent hours watching turles and reef fish from the lanai where we also had a table with a view for sunsets. Woke up one morning to enormous full rainbow over the ocean, and we saw moonlight reflecting on the water two nights. Plenty of beach towels, a cooler, lots of stuff for the beach. From sharp kitchen knives to storage containers, kitchen was set up really well. Very easy communication with property manager. Great stay.

We had a magical two week stay in this delightful unit. It was clean and in good repair, the kitchen was very well stocked, and everything you would need for a great day at the beach was available to use too. We enjoyed all of our meals on the lanai, watching the surfers during the day, those sunsets, though, just take your breath away. Beautiful view!

Centeral location close to Kona's main street. Good beaches and activities close by. We loved the view from the lanai, and the sound of the surf. There were always surfers, paddleboarders going by. We enjoyed he tidal pools out front and the condos indoor pool and hot tub. Very nicely decorated condo, we loved the Hawaian theme.

This condo has everything you need. It is fully stocked. It was clean and comfortable. The ocean breezes were great during the day and no need for ac. The views are so beautiful but the sunsets, wow! Great location. Would highly recommend and stay here again.

Renee was absolutely wonderful to work with. She literally supplies almost everything you need, just as if you were in your own home. I wish we had done inventory prior to going to buy food for our stay. She had all of the staples and then some covered. I hope we can go back soon.

The kitchen was very well stocked with more than we needed to cook, plus spices & condiments. The only issue we had was the AC did not keep us cool enough in the 2nd bedroom. We had a great experience at this property. Communications were timely and thorough the property was exactly as advertised. The host made lots of little extras available to us, like beach toys, cooler, ice blocks, all sorts of things to make our stay more enjoyable. We did not know the area very well but this unit is conveniently located for tourist activities too. The local beach is pretty but a nice sandy beach is within easy walking distance (to the south). I would give six stars if I could.

This was unfortunately a short 4 night trip to the Big Island , but this rental was exactly what we wanted. Huge lanai right on the ocean for a relaxing get away. Just down the street from Kona shops and just a couple blocks from Ali’s Gardens. Marketplace. I would have been happy just shopping there vs. going into Kona town. Poke place and taco place there at the outdoor marketplace we’re great!! Renee was very nice and communicated throughout our trip. We’ve stayed at Vrbo’s in HawAii and Spain, this rental was by far the best stocked rental with very thoughtful supplies. I will return someday for sure and would reclining a heartbeat! We are repeat visitors which says it all - we now won't stay anywhere else. The location is perfect - midway between Kona & Keauhou. Everything you could want is in the condo, even for an extended stay. A plus is the elevator and air conditioning, alto we stayed for 2 weeks in April and never needed to turn the air conditioning on. Linens are excellent quality, decor is attractive and parking is easy. Then there is the huge lanai - what a view! Both the living room and bedroom open onto the lanai making it additional living space. As it is covered, even in the rain we watched surfers, turtles and small fish from our private lanai on the 4th floor. We would definitely recommend.

The view from Renee’s condo absolutely cannot be beat! Great amenities with the pool access and laundry in unit. The space was comfortable and clean, but our favorite part were the sunsets and falling asleep to the sounds of the ocean right outside our screen door. The unit has AC which is a great perk, but we never needed it. Convenient parking and great location right next to Da Poke Shack for the freshest poke on the island. We had a great stay!

Beautiful place right on the ocean side in between down town and Keauhou bay. I was skeptical of the building layout pictures and thought it might be too congestion or noisy. Neither was an issue as we never heard our neighboors even the complex was populary full. All we have heard was the pleasant waves! Since the unit on the top floor, I can see not just the ocean but the moon from my bed too! Very well built building with cover parking looking to the ocean and covered walk way, so you don't get wet going in and out. Renee stocked the unit with all the menities you could think of and we really appreciated all the freebies drinks. The binocular was a real treat since I did not have mine. Never have we seen such a wide view balcony, where we spent most of our times when we were going visit other beaches. We visited Kona almost yearly and now Renee's place would be our first choice. The only hiccup but it's out of her hands was the fixing of the garage ceiling that closed the one way entrance and we had to get in and out by the one way exit, nerve-raking each time. Still it is a minor inconvenient for 3 days but nothing outshine this gorgeous unit. We hope to be back again soon!

We stayed at this lovely appointed oceanfront condo for about 17 days in March 2020 and just returned home from our stay March 1 to April 3, 2023. Rene, the owner, is an extreme pleasure to deal with from booking until departure. Rene promptly resolves any issues that may arise during your stay. This is very comforting to know when renting a property. She truly cares about your stay being a truly pleasurable experience. We are looking forward to returning again in December 2023 for another 3 weeks and in March 2025 for another month. The condo is fully equipped with all you need during your stay. There is a washer/dryer in the condo; a large cooler and freezer blocks; lots of beach mats and boogie boards and other water toys. It's wonderful to have the use of condiments left by previous guests and to be able to return the favor to newly arriving guests. The spectacular oceanfront lanai is graced with the likes of outrigger canoes paddling by; spinner dolphins swimming by; whales spouting and breaching and turtles in the waters or on the beach below. You can also enjoy surfers showing off their craft at the Banyon Beach next door. The amazing Kahaluu snorkel beach is only 10 min down the road. You can catch the Kona Trolley across the street and it will drop you off out front of the Kona Bali Kai. There is a lovely pool; hot tub and sunbathing lounge area in the condominium complex. We have been staying in the fabulous Kona Bali Kai condominium complex since 2012.

This is the third time we have stayed at this Kona Bali Kai location.. As always, it does not disappoint! We highly recommend staying there and Renee is such a pleasure to communicate with. Can’t wait till we come back again next year!

It’s been four long years since we’ve been to Renee’s condo. So nice to be back. The view can’t be beat. Right on the ocean. We love listening to the sounds of the ocean while sleeping or hanging out on the huge, private lanai. There is everything you need. From kitchen supplies and condiments to every beach supply you could think of. Whales were the highlight of our trip. Lots and lots of them! I had quite a few problems with VRBO and Renee was there every step of the way to help solve them all. Until next year!

Aloha! My husband and I had the pleasure of staying in this lovely, oceanfront fourth-floor, two-bedroom, two-bathroom condo for two weeks. You could hear the waves, even with the sliding glass doors to the lanai closed! With an old-time Hawaiian charm, we relaxed and lounged on the lanai and in the living room. We used the kitchen, and were impressed with how fresh the vegetables stayed in the Samsung refrigerator! We had a wonderful time, and would not hesitate to stay in this oasis of calm again in the future. Mahalo!

Had a great time at KBK. Renee has thought of everything with a truly well equipped condo. Amazing a views from the lanai. Did not need the A/C. We slept soundly each night hearing the crashing surf.
