This property was absolutely everything as described and more! Sensational views, beautiful accommodations, phenomenal lake front activities. Once back from the grocery store in Andrews, we didn't have to leave for anything. AND WHY WOULD WE when everything that was needed for a relaxing and extraordinary vacation was right on property! Even rented a jet ski for our time there from Young Harris Water Sports out of Georgia who delivered to the Choga access right across from this property. My sons and I canoed over to the access to pick up the jet ski. I couldn't have planned it better! The Lake's End Marina will be getting those back soon I do believe. I will definitely want to return to this wonderful dream house!!

We are return customers to this amazing property. The owners are fantastic and their home is a wonderful retreat. Enjoy the fire pit and amazing views of the lake. Rent a boat from the marina to truly enjoy the lake.

The mountain and lake views were beautiful. The lakefront location with walk down to the water was perfect for our two families (my family and my brother’s family). The house was very functional with plenty of outdoor living spaces. We were there week before Christmas so it was a bit cold for these FL folks but in milder temps, I’d probably spend most of the time on the porches. Host was excellent in communication. There is NO cell signal going in so you’ll only have your phone GPS accessible. We planned our meals ahead and brought food in. It’s a long trip back to Andrews (about 45 min one-way) if you forgot milk or bread. Once you’re there, the home and location is a very peaceful oasis and a perfect place to unwind and enjoy with your friends or family.

Great house with a beautiful view. We enjoyed a perfect weekend of perfect weather. This is a fantastic house and really left nothing to be desired. We could sit on the deck and enjoy the view forever. We hope to be back.

Nantahala Lake is a gem, with cool and clear water. I highly recommend renting a pontoon boat with a tube at least one day from Lakes End. It was a blast! If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is the perfect lakefront home!

They just put in a new retaining wall along the lakes edge. Have a great firepit for the family to sit around overlooking the lake. A few steps to the lake like most properties on the lake but easy to navigate. Large dock. Kitchen set up with everything you could need. Plenty of parking. We would certainly come back to this house.

We loved our stay, the views, and had zero complaints. Adequate communication throughout and would love to stay again.

Great place to relax with loved ones and friends. Easy access to the lake from the dock to enjoy all the water activities. The view is amazing from anywhere on the property, but it’s best while sitting by the firepit in the evenings. Great hosts with easy communication when if needed.

This was one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever stayed at. It was a healing experience for my son and I.

This property was everything they claimed and more. The pictures honestly do not reflect the true beauty. The house was well appointed with every needed for a relaxing vacation. The owners are very accommodating and a pleasure to work with. Our family had a wonderful time, and hope to go back soon.

We and another couple rented this wonderful house for three nights and could not have had a better experience. Even though the weather was not cooperative, the host was. Deb was an absolute pleasure to deal with. The house itself was just as advertised - no bait and switch here! It had everything we needed and then some. Dock was perfect for our rented boat. Grounds and views spectacular. I could not recommend this host/house more highly.

We recently returned from a wonderful vacation at this lovely home. The lake and mountain views from the home are amazing! The owner left just enough trees on the property to provide privacy from neighbors and have cleared just enough trees to enjoy the view. We had enough space for two families with several teenage children. We enjoyed spending all day on the lake swimming, kayaking and paddle boarding. We rented a boat for two days from the local marina and enjoyed the scenic ride around the lake and pulling the kids on the raft. The lake is small which allowed us to stop back at the house for lunch. We tried several evenings to order pizza to our dock from the marina restaurant as advertised but were unsuccessful as the marina had no boats available for delivery those days. This was disappointing as we were looking forward to it and had no dinner planned those nights but made due. Overall the house was perfect for us, we had one TV issue but the owner was quick to respond. Be aware the walk up to the house from the dock may not be easy for some people. We all were winded ourselves (including the kids) after each trip up but the view is worth it. Also note that the roads to the house are windy and steep. We did not have 4WD and barely made it out of the steep driveway the day we left. This may be due to the added weight on our car with a cargo carrier on the roof and also a hitch carrier. The other family with us had 4WD and had no issues. We had a great week and have been discussing possibly returning next year! The only thing this house is missing is a hot tub overlooking the lake and mountains. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

This home was absolutely wonderful! The view was very nice! The house was very well maintained and very clean upon arrival which is really important in this time. Most impressive to me was how things have obviously been upgraded over time. The appliances were obviously fairly new. The deck was really nice composite decking. The whole place was really nice. The only two areas for improvement were at the dock. There was a boat there which limited the use of one side of the dock. This was not a boat that was part of the rental. Also, the swim ladder at the dock may need some attention. No problem here though. We had a wonderful time and definitely thought this was one of the best houses we’ve stayed in at Nantahala! Also, the owners were an absolute pleasure to work with and communicated perfectly and timely! We look forward to staying here again!
