My wife and I were joined by our 39 daughter, our 13 year old grand son and his 14 year old friend.
The boys surf fished the every morning and evening tge whole week and had a blast. We were able to keep track off them from the balcony. During the middle of the day, they would come back to the room for lunch and to relax in the pool. We enjoyed quiet walks on the beach and gorgeous views. We prefer this to the hectic crowded beaches further west.

The property was a very nice place for us. The unit was very spacious, and it accommdated all of us sans issue. The game table was an excellent amenity along with the bicycles and the 2 chairs with umbrella on the beach for daily use. I think that was one of the best parts because it cut down on what we had to carry to the beach. It was an invaluable perk! The close proximity the pool was worth its weight in gold, and I couldn't believe how quiet the entire place was despite being filled with guests and people. It was such a great place for our 1st visit to the lost beach! We will come back, and we will stay in this rental again. The only recommendation I'd make is that there be more silverware, dishes for eating on, and more storage container options. Even if only the cheap storage containers. This helps guests store leftovers from the meals we prepare and it provides something to take watermelon to the beach in ;) The silverware would run out quickly for our crowd, so just need a little more of that on hand. Those are little tidbits that just make for icing on the cake of an already decadent vacation rental and stay! We loved the unit and all amenities that came with our stay. We enjoyed Mexico Beach and look forward to our next stay! Thank you for the opportunity to be part of your home away from home!

We absolutely had the best time. Perfect weather, perfect unit, perfect communication. Things fell right into place. Easy access to the beautiful, relaxing beach then come back for a dip in the pool!! Did not want to leave!

One of the best condos/properties we have stayed in the gulf! Plenty of room for our family of 7. Condo was clean throughout! Showers were hot, and pressure was nice. Beds were super comfy! Temperature in the condo was pleasant as well! Very well stocked, and everything worked just fine! We loved having the pool right outside, and the ocean and view right across the street! Thank you Susie for sharing your home with us! We will definitely return!!

This condo was beautiful and well maintained. It was roomy and convenient to pool but still very quiet with no noise from pool area. The short walk to the beach was not a problem at all. This was a perfect getaway to the beach for the first time with our granddaughters. We all enjoyed it.

Absolutely amazing!
This is our 4 th year to stay at Mexico Beach and our second year staying in a Susie Clements property. Our stay at Summerhouse has been fabulous. The condo is tastefully decorated in beach decor and is well appointed. It feels like a home away from home. The beds were comfy with nice linens. The pool is adjacent to the unit which was a plus and the sandy beaches just across the street ( 2 min walk).
During our stay we had a problem with the refrigerator. One text to Susie and we had a repair man there in less than an hour. There were no other problems or negatives with our stay.
We plan to return as soon as we can.

Fantastic! Convenient and Relaxing
This is a great unit, particularly if you are looking for an easy and relaxing kind of vacation. Mexico Beach itself is low-key, friendly, and with beaches as beautiful as any you'll see in North Florida. The unit itself is wonderfully decorated, well-equipped and maintained, and great for a family. The direct access to the (heated) pool is unbeatable, particularly if a family member has mobility issues (as was the case for our visit this time). The wheelchair could go right out onto the balcony and out to the pool.The beach is right across the street, with the beach access ramp right there (and no stairs to get down to the beach). Worked well with a beach wheelchair. It was quiet and very comfortable for the whole family. Centrally located to walk to food and coffee in either direction. Great owner. Overall a great place on a great beach. I could go on, but I hesitate to say too much more for fear that it will be harder to book this unit next time we go on vacation.

The condo is beautiful and is in a great location. You will not be disappointed with the accommodations at Summerhouse. The layout is good and very spacious. This place had everything we needed and more. We had an amazing vacation, and we hope to stay here again in the future.

The best place to stay at Mexico Beach!
Wow! What a great condo! The location is great, right across the street from the beach. The pool is located directly outside the unit which was great for us because we have 5 boys who love to swim all day. I was worried it would be noisy being right beside the pool but it wasn't at all. You can tell that whoever built these condos went above and beyond to make them soundproof. We never heard any road noise or people playing in the pool. Very peaceful. The condo is very spacious with large bedrooms and bathrooms. The decor is fresh and nicely beach themed and continuous throughout the unit. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay at this condo again. Don't hesitate to book this property! I promise you will not be disappointed!

Best Vacation Ever!
We have rented condos in various places through VRBO, but this was by far our favorite! Mexico Beach is an adorable little town where you feel like you can escape the chaos of some of the more popular destinations. We enjoyed the peace and quiet. We loved having the pool directly off the balcony, so the kids could swim all day, and we could still be near or inside the condo. The beach is directly across the street, and it's not as crowded as many of the other beaches we've visited. The condo itself is absolutely amazing! It is beautifully decorated, and every bed and piece of furniture is so comfortable. There were plenty of extra blankets and pillows. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils and equipment. We made Easter dinner while we were there. We have stayed other places where the kitchen is a struggle to cook in. We enjoyed dinner out at Killer Seafood (just down the road), and Indian Pass Oyster Bar (further down the highway between Port St. Joe and Apalachicola). We would highly recommend both, and the drive down the coast is spectacular. We would also recommend driving to Port St. Joe to the Piggly Wiggly vs shopping at the Gulf Foods grocery store in Mexico Beach. I just can't say enough wonderful things about this place!!

The property was well maintained and very clean.
Our family had a great time! The unit was beautiful and we could tell a lot of thought was put into the renovation. We are a family of eight and fit very comfortably. Lots of closet space, extra blankets, washer and dryer, television in every room. Private balcony with oversized lounger and ottomans. The pool was heated and felt great day or night.
We were 10-15 minutes from Port Saint Joe and ate dinner at some great places.
I met several residents who told me that the owner of unit 201 really did a great job on the renovation and it's the nicest unit in the building.
We had friends come visit and tell us how spacious it was compared to where they were staying.
The kitchen had everything!!
We even had menus to order delivery if we didn't want to cook or go out to dinner.
We will definitely rent again!

BEST VACATION EVER!!
The condo is beautifully appointed, the beds are comfortable, and the setup is out of this world. Each bedroom has a private bath, two of the rooms have king-sized beds, and the unit has private access to the pool and hot tub. No loading everyone and everything up to go swim...whoever wants to play in the water can just walk outside while the others can enjoy the ocean view from inside. This is by far the best vacation rental we've ever stayed at!!!! Thank you, Susie!

PARADISE...at last!
What a perfect vacation! I had dreamed of this week's getaway for so long, and it far exceeded all of our expectations. The mid October weather yielded beautiful sunny days of 85 degrees, cool breezes, sugar white sand, Caribbean blue water and cloudless skies. The condo was an extravagant bonus to the beauty of Mexico beach. WOW! What a lovely decorated and spacious unit! We had a wonderful girls week and we were so thrilled with every detail and all the quality amenities (tough pleasing women)... not one detail was overlooked! We had friends staying in another unit and had plenty of room to entertain them. As a foodie, I was thrilled to have a nice size kitchen, with quality cookware, and any utensil needed to prepare great food. The self contained ice maker was so convenient for those beach coolers and yummy drinks! . I also had a handicap friend who found the unit easy to access via parking elevator. Another great perk was being right beside the pool entrance. Now, that was luxury! I took a drive to revisit some of my older vacation spots like PC beach, Seaside, Destin, and was quickly reminded how thrilled I was to be away from all the noise, crowds, traffic, and commercialism. Mexico Beach was paradise! I can't wait to go back with a bigger crowd next year! Thanks so much to the owner who was a joy to work
with, so patient with all my questions, and always responded in a timely fashion.

beautiful condo! So comfortable and spacious. Despite the fact that it rained our entire trip, we had a FABULOUS time! The kids loved the easy access to the pool and swam in the rain! Can't wait to go back.

Wonderful stay!
The property was very clean and decorated nicely. This rental was open and spacious, giving our 2 year old plenty of room to move about and play. We loved having the pool access from our balcony, that was great to have with children. Overall our experience was great and we will return for another visit.
